I have started development of the Texas Holdem software based on HTML5. It will be the first rake-free poker room! Stay tuned!

There is a game poker players play called "flipping". Basically they agree to go "all in" pre-flop regardless of their hand. So long term this is a 0ev game minus rake, but the problem is you have to trust all parties and eventually someone comes and ruins the game by waiting for a good hand. So maybe try to make a game like that? This way you don't have to worry about collusion and bots.

edit

here's a youtube clip of phil ivey and ziigmund flipping for 200k pots.

Stats page have been updated. Total amount of the deposits and withdrawals ever made now public. Also raffles with single participant (when one player bought all tickets to test the game) will not be included in the stats "Turnout" metric.

I don't know if you answered.  But giant dragon isn't planning on doing a no house edge roulette.

Roulette you're playing against the house.  The house actually has some risk that they need to take.  Peerbet there is no housedge but the house doesn't have any risk.

They charged about 10% withdrawal commission instead of rake, so expected value for the players was -0.1, which is even worse than ~5% charged as rake by most conventional poker rooms.

It seems to me that 10% of net winnings would work out as much less than 5% of each pot since players will typically play through their bankroll many times before withdrawing.
Oh, you are right! But 0% fee will be even attractive  Wink

Uh, no. There have been plenty of rake-free poker rooms. For some reason they all fail to attract customers though.

An example: http://www.betraiser.com/en/rake-free/

Playing poker with zero EV will be revolution, IMHO!

@giantdragon
Then your next service will probably a mixing service Wink
I don't think so. I send payments once a day, but Blockchain.info mixer sends them instantly.

Why not HTML5? I think in-browser poker will be much more attractive to the players contrary to Windows executables offered by most poker rooms with spyware embedded.
