I don't think they will survive, at least not the big part of them, if you consider the amount of projects out there currently and the ones that keep coming out everyday, you will see that there is no room for so many of them.
as in any market, not all businesses always survive, sometimes many developers will try several times before being successful, the problem now is that the money is drying up, so efforts and investments are concentrated in the most famous altcoins.
The people, who don't know anything about the cryptocurrencies are afraid them and talk nonsense. We all know that the cryptocurrencies have the future.
The worst thing is to listen to the people, who do not know anything about the cryptocurrencies. Yes, many tokens might not survive - these shitcoins will vanish soon. Invest in the best cryptos, and earn on them.
I'm sure that altcoins have a great future, especially if we're talking about coins that are in the top 100 of coinmarketcap. At the same time I still think that most of altcoins are scam or shitcoins, that have no value and future.
And I think that the altcoins will live. After all, they do not badly support the market as a whole. Many people buy an alternative currency. And they earn well. While there is demand, I think they are not threatened.
I quite agree with you many altcoins are not worth investing cause of undefined goal, vision and non useful usecase but still there are many altcoins out there that have a very solid foundation and usecase which can withstand this challenging times. But the success of most of them still depends on the team
Altcoin some may be dead because the coins could not compete with the new coins. Altcoin who have experienced this failure because they lose investors. But for now, the new coin is more promising because it gives a very good product. And this new product ready to compete in the market.
It was to be expected, the constant growth could not continue all the time, from altcoyins now it's also not an option, it's better to wait until better times!
People don't know all the details and can't make conclusions. But the are trying. Of course alts will survive, there is no other option. Its just bad times for crypto now and we need to wait situation be changed

Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
many altcoins will die because there was a lot of scum and just obvious fraudulent icos. many were without product, many of which broke on the fall. On the HYIP, many newcomers came, inexperienced investors who were simply scattered with money, without particularly go into the study of projects, which provoked the emergence of a huge amount of insolent fraud in the market of ico, but then even obvious garbage collected caps.
now the situation is slightly different. the market sobered up on the fall, now it's just not profitable, it's not reasonable to create and run low quality ico. people first carefully study the projects in which they are going to invest and only a good quality project can achieve a success. Honestly most altcoins are not solving any real life issue, so who did you think will want to invest on projects that has nothing to solve. Such token might surely scratch out.
