I second the claims of the lost creator. Bitcoin investment is indeed a highly accepted and sought out for it's very high potential profit. There have been seminars conducted in the country regarding the rising popularity and usage of bitcoincin our country. Even though only light regulations are faced by bitcoin, we can't lie to tell that our government accepts the use of cryptocurrency especially bitcoins.

Accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment and getting regulated is a very huge move both for bitcoin and the Filipino users. This is a good news for us filipino investor that our government actually acknowledged bitcoin although bitcoin has been all over the past few years. I hope that this one is a good sign for others to develop other options for bitcoin transactions other than coins.ph. This will help more people from the philippines to get involve in cryptocurrency trading.

So does this mean that people will have an alternative now rather than just coins.ph being available? They seem to have monopolize the transact of crypto for the people there. Undecided
Or will there be a new contender organization to try and give another viable option so to purchase and exchange bitcoins in this island nation? Huh

This a good thing that our government here in the Philippines are now opening their minds in terms of dealing and being involved in cryptos. It is just a good way to promote and show that bitcoin is really not a scam but rather a blessing that can help people in to earn money by investing in bitcoin. Also making it as a payment system is a good way for people to experience a new way of payment method other than using credit cards, debit cards, checks and most especially cash. It can be used by all types of people even other nationalities/tourists who love to visit and experience the goodness of this country. This may also lead to better acceptance of some people here in our country that can even be used and applied by some governments of different countries.

The title seems like a contradiction to the bolded text as there's a huge difference between accepting Bitcoin as a payment option and regulating its use throughout the country. Yet, this comes as good news for Filipinos since this looks like a step taken by its government to push for digitization in the country.

Coins.ph was a linchpin service which provided a localized wallet for its users and looks like this is the next big move to promote cryptocurrencies within the nation which looks highly promising.

The said above was true. Bitcoin was indeed a widely acceoted investment here in our country. As a matter of fact, bitcoin investing is a thing in the Philippines even 4 years ago when bitcoin's value is equivalent to 500 pesos in our currency which is around 10 dollars. It's not just as widely known as it is today.

Great news for Filipinos! Most of users are also waiting for their countries to accept bitcoin and use it in different transactions. Philippines is an open minded country and is always welcome changes that would make their country better. Happy to have a government who's willing to accept new things and pursue those changes for the betterness of majority.

It was a very nice idea for the philippines to talk about cryptocurrency, in this way there will be more and more investors who are going to decide to place their money on cryptocurrency banks and bitcoins will slowly be fully accepted by the entire community.

It's nice to know that our country is trying and pursuing to use bitcoin. I think it could help our government to rising up and improving our economy. A great opportunity will come to all Filipino's when bitcoin was already legalized and fully established to our country. I can see  and imagine a great future to our economy and to our country's wealth when adapting and enhancing bitcoin will successfully done..

OMG! Bitcoin in the Philippines? How come? I don't want these to happen in my country because I'm afraid if the government allows bitcoin to adopt in the philippines. Maybe the government has something plan with bitcoin that's why they conduct a seminar about those thing. But what if they accept it and put some tax on it? What do you think will happen with those bitcoin users, is it good impact for them or bad? I think this is not good for me. I'm complacent on what bitcoin status today whether it rises and fall.

I am really happy to hear this news, so the bitcoin market is more and more opportunity to develop, bitcoin price will be promoted in the future. I think this is a sign of the bitcoin currency and the crypto market in the world. If in the future, some countries accept bitcoin, the bitcoin price may exceed $ 50,000. This is a great thing.
