Cryptocurrency transactions has been on the rise in the philippines.

They are already accepted 5 cryptocurrency company in the country and approximately planning to give license for atleast 25 companies to operate in the philippines.

With the current government administration they are starting to adopt and build even in the technological infrastructure.

In more years to come the country will be more open to blockchain technology like japan and other countries.
It seems that many more countries that legalizing, adopting and accepting cryptocurrencies. Because of the social awareness of blockchain technology, the cryptocurrency community is becoming more stronger.

No doubt, more than 5m users in one of the biggest exchanger in ph. Imagine for only less than a year the 500k users raises to 1000%

Plus one of the richest city right now in ph supports this certain exchanger to be able to make an easy transactions when you buy coffee, dine out and even applying for a loan

For me I think the thing here is for Asian countries like the Philippines, they don't have that much to lose if they become in full support when it comes to the cryptocurrency industry. Unlike this European countries who are developed they take things like this more slowly as it takes much time deliberating on what is the right approach on supporting this kind of industry as it could really affect their economy in a bad way when they rush decisions without really thinking this through.

Yes Philippines starting now to accept crypto currency but selected area only not the entire Philippines , and base on my research as of now bitcoin can be use only as a payment method through fast-food  and selected groceries aroud manila. But it's a good start , because for sure in the near future more filipino will adopt cyrpto currency because of being so useful and friendly used especially when it comes withdrawal, sending money and buying goods.

Well, In my own opinion. As of now, Bitcoin is not legal yet it can be used as a transaction in the Philippines. Regarding to your research that they used bitcoin in fast food and groceries I do not think they implement to used it. I know that in other countries like South korea they used it as a payment method but in the Philippines its not yet used like that. However, hopefully they can use it that way because for me its a sign of developing countries.

Just go to salcedo street in makati sir/mam where you can see a bitcoin atm and a small merchants also accepting a bitcoin also in makati and bgc taguig. They were not featuring it in mainstream media because it is not legalized in the phils.

There is still no official announcements from the government of the Philippines regarding this matter. But perhaps if this thing will be happen, probably more people from this country will be happy for this news since they are already some people who have been doing some activities in crypto space.

It's a nice thing to know that Philippines now are becoming more open into Bitcoin and crypto currency business. Also this is a good news to all crypto enthusiast who lived  in the country. Moreover, some of the banks in this country are now doing the adoption of cryptocurrency like Unionbank and PNB also are planning to do the same thing for what the unionbank did.

I think many people in the Philippines are already immersed in the cryptocurrency market, since part of their culture is to always find ways to earn to support themselves and their families, especially through online means. The beauty with cryptocurrency is that it's not that difficult to learn if you really are serious about it, and also, you can find that it can be a viable source of income whilst doing it as a part-time job of some sort. There have been news before that the Philippine Central Bank are getting wearing of cryptocurrency investments, so it's really a good thing to see that, in general, cryptocurrencies are gaining traction in the Philippines.

A good demonstration that not only first world countries can lead Crypto adoption. Philippines has a strong presence in Crypto-Currency world since years ago and seems they are really serious about it. Now let's hope the adoption from the government side will be smoother as possible, without heavy regulations and exigencies over the citizens, so everyone can benefit from this achievement.

Even Manny Pacqiaou himself create his own crypto. Since he is national hero of Philippines, i believe mass adoption will come soon enough.
Well it means they now trust crypto, I hope other country will also accept and adopt cryptocurrency so that it will become more popular.  And once many people are interested to it and many people will believe then the demand grow surely it price will change immediately.  Philippines is also have lot population so if there people adopt crypto surely their way of living will change.

This is a very positive news, the type we all wish to hear during a bloodbath period like this. At least, it gives us a kind of hope that no matter want is happening now, there is still a future for cryptocurrency.

wow its good to hear about that. Philippines are now accepting cryptocurrency. Its good to the economy of the Philippines to have a transaction like this but I think it is not legal but they are free to have a transactions. Hopefully, in the future they will follow the steps of japan and south korea to be open about crypto market because many opportunities will come to the citizens of the philippines.

That is a great news, Philippines is open and willing to accept changes that might affect the nature of love. If that so happen probably the people are very participating and willing to welcome the possible happen to it. Cryptocurrency is very well organize enough to use.

As far as I know in the country of the Philippines they did not have any tax regarding Bitcoin, only users can pay taxes when it comes converting fiat from Bitcoin and they pay tax when they buy goods from it. The Philippines is now having the largest adoption on Bitcoin and other technology besides they have a wallet that regulated and they must pass a KYC required. Hopefully, all countries like this, they must know how useful blockchain it is. Cheers into that country keep spreading Bitcoin so that there's are a lot of holders that makes Bitcoin expensive.

i believe that eventually we will see majority of countries in the world do the same thing as Japan did last year and adopt bitcoin with ease but unfortunately this may take a couple of years since there is still a lot of resistance against adoption of something decentralized.
we are on a good path though. with most advanced countries already showing positivity towards bitcoin.
There would really be a resistance yet we know decentralized things should followed governments laws before they would be adopted.Good to see these positive steps but
I doubt they do accept this for the sake of taxation.I don't really see the need of having lots of exchangers on PH. They approved 5 exchange as of now but basing on the current number of users
in that country it is really just too much.
What's wrong with taxes? In my opinion, paying taxes is very important for the financing of the country and the progress of urban governance. You can see flowers that bloom in a beautiful garden because of the tax costs. Not even that. There are still many that we enjoy in a country or city because of taxes.
Yeah it is good to follow the rules and paying the tax on time is one the major rule that every country has, we should pay our tax on time, being careless is not good because it will make you a disrespectful citizen, pay tax it is your contributing to good nation, if you are not having money try to invest and accept the crypto currency it will give you more sources of making money and having profit to have good life same as Philippines.

Philippines starting to accept and adopt crypto currency means it is indeed a positive sign for the growth of bitcoin to  the crypto market. It is a modern form of economy linked with the modern technology. The Philippines government could realize the positive features and its usefulness. of bitcoin. The crypto currency is changing the face of the global economy and leading us in to a digital world and which is found much suitable to the modern world. mean time the crypto currency is quiet contrary to the present form of economy in which we follows at present. Philippines one of the far eastern country  could study and analyze the in and out of the crypto currency to accept and adopt  for the growth of their country. The crypto currency is incorporated with the modern technology including the block chain technology. The block chain technology ensures the security and the clarity of the system which in turn leads  as   to a corruption free world.

We may see cryptocurrency emerging a lot in the Philippines but we cannot ignore the fact that it is still not legal nor illegal so the status of crypto in the country is still unstable. There are a lot of investors here already and the last thing the Philippine bank did was to release some precautions about the potential danger we may encounter while investing in crypto.
