Is anyone running p106-100s mining cards with 6Gb ? I can run them  in any phoenix miner. My miners keep closing phoenix after 15 minutes. Cannot get stable runs. tried 5.4c. Latest and previous Nvidia drivers.

Phoenix, can you help with some issues im having using P106-100 6Gbs and any of your 5.x series miners? The miner starts but closes after about 5-10 minutes with no information in the logs. Can you help me to mitigate the issue? Really want to solve the issue.

Guys, how much MHs of hashrate should i expect with Phoenix miner for single Gtx 1070 gpu without overclocking and memory pills?

I have an evga gtx 1070 ftw3 and I just tested here for you, it says 29mhs with overclock +110 core, memory +400, power limit 74, in the past as i remember used to be 31mhs with power limit 55. It seems that every dag closer or after 4gb the speed is reduced and reduced. So if for mining, I would not recommend this gpu, for gaming is great, I can play most games at 4k with low or medium visuals, this card is 4 years old, amazing.
Yeah agree with you. my 1070 gaming x was doing 33mhs easy now im lucky on 31.5mhs. gaminx uses too much power like 160-170w.i never increased core, instead i used -100 memory +600 pow 75
I am seeing the same thing. My 1070 ti cards used to get 34 mh/s. Now around 32 mh/s. 1070 used to get 31 mh/s, now 28.5 mh/s.

But I look at the number of shares at the pool. That has stayed roughly the same. Have your shares also dropped? With 1372 mh/s I get anywhere from 1100 - to almost 1300 shares.

One thing I have noticed is that the latest Phoenix Miner is a lot more stable than Claymore ever was. All my rigs will go for a long time without restarting. Claymore's miner shows me for how long they have been mining and how many shares. It is a lot more than with Claymore 15. Very happy with Phoenix Miner. I should have switched a long time ago.

Rxboost stopped working after changing epochs #385? Hashrate dropped on RX480-580 8Gb.

Yesterday my Radeon VII ETH hashrate was dropped from 91MH to 86MH and still keep low on nicehash. Eth become more hungry for GPU performance than before?

Yes - I'm seeing the same on my Radeon VII rig - about an 8% reduction in hashrate

I am using Phoenix Miner 5.4C and monitoring with Claymore's Miner Manager 4.0.

Phoenix Miner /  Claymore is reporting a total GPU Power of around 3,798 watts @ 1,372 MH/S. The 3090 card is reported as using 0 WATTS because of the Nvidia Driver. It is using about 272 watts. So total watts for the GPUs would be around 4,070 watts.

I know 3 rigs (+/- 1,203.57 mh/s) are using a combined power of around 5,000 -  5,250 watts as reported by the UPS devices they are connected to. Claymore is reporting 3,583 GPU watts. 5,250 - 3,583 = 1,667 watts for motherboard, fans, cpu, SSD etc.

1,667 watts / 3 = 555.66 watts per rig. That's bogus. The CPU, rig fans etc. are not using that much power. The power supplies are all gold rated EVGA. Two rigs have 2 x 1000 watt and 2x 750 watts PSUs and one rig has 1x1600 watt, 2x 100 watt and 1x750 watts PSUs. Is that much power getting wasted through the power supplies?

3 other computers with single cards in them are perhaps using another 150-200 watts each so let's say another 500 watts combined. Total power usage is on average around 6,600 watts but could go up a bit if many TVS are on, the furnace fan kicks in or the Microwave is used.

I just feel that Phoenix / Claymore is not reporting the GPU watts correctly. Perhaps the RX580 cards are under reported?

What's your total hashrate and power consumption for this setup?
Can you share your logs I'm looking for better setup for 1080ti. I'm actually paying high electricity and trying to setup my rig for power efficient.

using -straps 2

https://ibb.co/GtgJ72B

It shows around 220w it seems your living on low electricity rate or living in free Electricity?

Anyway, I tried your setup but I only add few of them
Code:
-powlim -20
-straps 5
-nvNew 1
-Rmode 1

It increase my hashrate a bit with 41mh/s and power 150w. I just want to run my miner with less power consumption. I just want to make profit than losing due to high Electricity rate here in my country.

wow, nice power consumption
how about your share ?
Can you share your logs ??

Isn't it too low for 1080ti?

BTW I have pair of 1060 (#1,2) and 1080 (not Ti, card #3), with the following config:

-nvdo 1 -nvKernel 0 -straps 4,4,5 -powlim -25 -cclock +135,+135,+130 -cvddc 0 -mclock +520,+525,+675 -mvddc 0

They give me approx:

1: 23.504 MH/s  2: 22.850 MH/s 3: 35.792 MH/s

with the following consumption reported by phoenix miner:

36C 30% 89W, GPU2: 38C 30% 89W, GPU3: 47C 30% 150W

Calymore miner was giving me about 24+ MH/s on 1060 and 38+ on 1080 (with pill). Is there any better settings I can do with PhoenixMiner?

How about the reported hashrate for claymore?
Let me try claymore Im actually mining in phoenixminer with hiveos let me try if I can see some improvements switching to claymore. And I remember they stop developing this software since last year.

I'm trying to mine with Ubuntu 20.04 and a RX470, but I have some problems installing the AMD drivers.
I tried different versions, but I got always some errors when the installer compiles the kernel module.

The latest Ubuntu kernel 5.4.0-58 breaks compiling the amdgpu-pro kernel modules (except for amdgpu-pro-20.45-1188099-ubuntu-20.04 , but that isn't supported by most mining software).

I downgraded my kernel to 5.4.0-42-generic and was then able to install the amdgpu 20.20 drivers without issue.

From the last week till now i've got 15-20W more power consumption on each rig (amd windows/raveOS) most cards i have are 470, 580 8Gb cards. Is there a way to fix that?

There is a good explanation why this happens right here, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.55250689

It's not quiet right about Nvidia cards speed decrease with every new DAG epoch IMHO. My 1060 and 1080 still showing 24/38 MH/s with claymore in contrast with phoenix miner, (22/36) tested just today.

I talked with nvidia developer with many back and forth messages and the result of the 41 msg conversation is:

Quote
Hi tytanick,

Below is the response from Engineering team -

We’ve confirmed that the performance drop is due to the size of the DAG exceeding the total on-chip TLB capacity on the Pascal GPU. As a result, there is an increased number of TLB misses, which affects performance. Because the TLB is a fixed capacity hardware resource, and the ETH algorithm accesses the DAG randomly, we don’t believe there are any software optimizations that could reduce the TLB miss rate.

In the Volta generation, TLB coverage was increased by 4x, and large DAG sizes (up to ~8GB, which won’t be reached for many years) will still fit in the on-chip TLB. So these newer GPUs (Volta and beyond) will show much less performance sensitivity due to DAG size.

I don't have 1070, but as per this forum as reported by other ppl it's about 32 Mh/s with oc

No need pills for 1070
Without OC, you'll get 25MH/s
