Other miners work well. I'm, running NBminer right now. Games are working too. It says
Code:
Phoenix Miner 5.3b Windows/msvc - Release build
-----------------------------------------------

CUDA version: 11.0, CUDA runtime: 8.0
No OpenCL platforms found
Available GPUs for mining:
GPU1: GeForce GTX 1070 Ti (pcie 9), CUDA cap. 6.1, 8 GB VRAM, 19 CUs
Did not work for me Sad system32 folder did not contain nvml.dll file SYSWOW64 did, I copied over dll from your archive but PhoenixMiner still can't find any cards - "No OPENCL platforms found" says the miner

This post contains the instructions on how to fix the latest 460.79 Nvidia Windows driver. The reason for the problem is that one of the DLLs (nvml.dll) that the driver installs is corrupted. Here is what you have to do in order to fix the problem:

Code:
    File: nvml_460.79_win10.zip
    ---------------------------
   SHA-1: 749ae64e4a5044994bec61d6d94459aa4c4cc719
 SHA-256: 541ccdbd77c693d1de2919adab9eaa7e2b502c9ec2f722544002abbcf643539e
 SHA-512: 80562b59e0a4f3c47557abc8742d9af6b119102f6fecfb3aa38112084ba0edd06451a631f633b667d57ec0417eb0db551d4cc5df90e0b835bce212b3ee6b75ce

  • Extract the file nvml.dll from the .zip archive you have downloaded in the previous step, and then copy it to the folder C:\Windows\System32. There will be a file with the same name here, so you have to overwrite it (you will be prompted by Windows are you sure, blah, blah, blah)

Note that this .dll is the original .dll from Nvidia (it is still digitally signed by them). If you are really paranoid, you can download 460.79 drivers from Nvidia, then use 7zip to open the .exe and extract the dll (you will find it at 460.79-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql.exe\Display.Driver\nvml.dll), and then copy it to the C:\Windows\System32 folder.

>> "No OPENCL platforms found" says the miner

What does GPU-Z say? Is OpenCL enabled on all cards? If not then you have driver install problem -> Uninstall current driver with DDU, reboot, install driver again

Using the 5.4b on  my RTX 3060 ti
It is very stable with full over clocking at 1500memory and -500 core , power of 66% 130W  hashing at 63Mhs
using older driver

Problem is  if  I start the Phonexminer with full over clock settings it will keep getting me Bad Shares

I have to set the MSI afterburner to memory of around +1000  all other settings the same, after few minutes I can raise it to 1500 memory and see my Hash increase.

Is there a fix for this?

Hoping for a stable restart and everything working fine  instead of me intervening with each restart , windows 10 pro x64

I do 59.5 mh/s but at 50% PL, 119W
+ 1000Mhz, -502 core
I think it's more efficient this way, give it a try and tell me your results Wink

Strange thing, if I go PL 65% like you, I have more than 130W consumed..

My problem is that the miner will fail if I start with full over clock memory but works 100% if I start with 1000 and after the first share go up to full 1500

My goal is to get max Hash that is why I went with 66%
I can get 60hash at 60% that is not the issue

How can I start the miner with lower mem clock and then let it go up ,
perhap the high mem clock messes up the auto tuning?!

@PhoenixMiner    seams like there is an issue with dag generation on the high mem clock, once I pass that stage , I can go as high as possible,
tried it many ways ,  if I start on 1500mem  no matter what I do the miner gets bad shares, unless I stop it , lower mem , start the file again , wait for first share or for the dag to finish

Been mining for years with my 1070 using ethminer, then 3 days ago i switched over to pheonixminer .

With ethminer my core clock use would be very low and mem high .

With phoenixminer my core clock is actually being used along with mem , i almost look these same as when i’m gaming

Is that normal ? Is everyone else running 1070’s notice that ?

may i know your OS  ??

Hello,

I'm using a little rig with an RX 470 8GB. I have about 31 MH/s.

I would like to try dual mining, and I have added this options to the command line:

-dpool blake2s.eu.nicehash.com:3361
-dwal xxxxxx
-dpass x
-worker xxxxxx
-dcoin blake2s

It connect to nicehash and it is authorized, but the hash rate is always zero.

what am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Andrea

Rename the existing nvml.dll in System32 to something else (e.g. nvml_old.dll) then copy the one from the archive in System32. After that restart Windows, and you should be able to delete the nvml_old.dll from System32.

Please add support for DAG epoch above 500 because I'll be calm and other mining programs have already done so.

Yes! This would be very useful.

Hello, ive a rig with 5 Cards (RX 570/470 all) and only the first main is 8 GB (the rest 4)

With rxboost 1 (or the vm comand in the correct number) without -Power + OC) i had in the past (before, in 2020 start) 26K in the main card, and 24/22/24/23 Mhz in the 4gb cards). Since the Epoch 384 and the last version of phonix, i have a lot fallen of hash rate (the 8 GB card no problem) but the rest 4 gb, all in 16K average.

I already read this was possible, so hard the fallen? can i do anything with some command?

The best zombie Mode is lolMiner... you will get more Hashrate in theses cards... You should try them these weeks before it really goes down.

Hi guys,

How to setup properly to write log on phoenix miner?

I try with this command

"C:\Users\Kristijan\Desktop\PhoenixMiner_5.3b\PhoenixMiner.exe" -pool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -wal 0xfdc54cbbf1be7a31ea7389683409347eb6505bc1.Worker_name/[email protected] -epsw x -mode 1 -Rmode 1 -logfile *.txt -logdir "C:\Users\Kristijan\Desktop\PhoenixMiner_5.3b\log" -coin eth -rxboost 30

With this command log is normally written, but rig crashed after few hour and mining speed is smaller then usual. When i turn off write log, everythig work normally, no creshed after over 300h.

What I'm doing wrong?

I have 4x rx580 and 1x rx5700 and phoenix miner 5.3b

+1
Phoenix may stop mining after a certain amount of time, as it did with Claymore Miner.
Better to add large DAG support in advance.

It would be great. Everything must be done on time.
Other ethash programs already add support for the later DAG. But I chose Phoenix because many sites recommend Phoenix and there are many easy guides on how to get it running.

I would like to be sure that the DAG file will last for a long time in version 5.4c (several years of mining)  Cool

all my 4G only card rigs went from 170Mh/S to 102Mh/S on ETH mining, so switching to ETC, could not see that pain nomore. Bye 4G ETH mining.
