Most miners show as a virus. That is because people put them in with viruses. so you mine to there address. Phoenix miner is NOT a virus. That is for sure. Neither are any of the miners on bitcoin talk.

So I tried driver 20.3.1 and it seemed like it almost worked.
I was playing around with it for about 10 hours yesterday!

Here are my results:
If they have a hashrate and a wattage it means that it worked for a brief amount of time... that is until it didn't.
Sometimes I get the BSOD that says VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE which according to a quick Google search says that it's likely a bad driver or GPU. But since 19.9.1 seems to work fine I'm thinking it's driver related.
And when I say "crash" I mean that it results in 0 MH/s.

No. PM didn't have analog option. But I use AMD Memory tweak tool to set the REF parameter for each card - that's what -rxboost do.

Hi, exist some GPU option like -rxboost in Claymore miner? I have 33.5Mh (RX580 8Gb) with -rxboost, and 32Mh on Phoenix (with autotune), but this miner better for my 4Gb cards.

No 100% is the limit. And honestly if setting the fan speed faster than 75% doesn't do anything then setting it at 100% or 110% won't cool your cards. You basically got a overheating and air flow issue going on.

Do you have an open air rig or is this in some enclosed computer case. If its enclosed try and take off the cover. If you got some Crossfire set up then put the desktop facedown so the high air can travel up instead of directly into another GPU.

If you really want faster fans then you can always take off the fan shroud and zip tie a few case fans to your GPUs.

does anyone knows if there is a way to set fan a little more than 100%? like 110% (a litle faster)?

So I tried running with these settings:
Core: 1350Mhz
Memory 775Mhz (on 19.9.1 driver)
cvddc: 775mv

Command line: -mi 14 -hstats 2 -mt 2 -tstart 60 -tstop 70 -wdog 1 -tt 50 -ttli 90

One of my Sapphire cards intermittenly crashes. I average 537MH/s and get about 98w - 108w each between 59C - 60C.

I'll try with a higher cvddc 780 and see if that stabilizes the Sapphire card. Then I'll try updating my drivers.

you are running a single card and Nitro+ SE, the best RX 5700xt ever Made. @ 93w you should be doing 58mh/s stable all day. your core is too low, you core volt is too high. the more cards you run the more the rig become unstable.


the more rx5700 xt you run , the more unstable the rig is. you core is too high, try 1350 or lower  with 780 volt.
 1 have 6  sapphire 5700xt pulse running stable @ 59mh/s

I have 2 questions. The first is on 4 gb amd cards. I am on the newest version and working great under windows. I read that the 4 gb cards will be able to mine longer under linux that under windows. That was mentioned specifically about phoenix miner with dag fix ? I believe because windows reserves more memory on the gpu than linux.

The second question concerns 8 gb amd cards. There is a limit with the current amd drivers that limit any single file limited to 4 gb. This cause a dag error under claymore while bench testing dag above 4 gb. I know amd romp drivers do not have this limitation. The original ethminer has incorporated this and does fix the problem. Has phoenix also fixed this ?
