COMM is not a Nxt clone. I think that only POS coins will prosper next year. And COMM have nice start and strict distribution.
Maybe I'm not informed enough but what are inovations for LTC for past six months? And BTC is so slow that I spend half day when I need to make some exchange.

why am i hearing so much about Community coin lately?
I guess its because its fairly new, from what i gather though,I think all new coins will be going either X11, POS or POT

lots of coins will disappear since there is no need for the, everyday new coins emerge which all take value from the bitcoin network. At a certain point a big sweep will make them worthless, also the sidechain idea will make most of them useless.
I think Nxt will be here next year and his altcoin Bitcoin. 
I really think fluttercoin will have exploded by then

Most coins will survive, these coins can be traded even if stuck because of high difficulty after attack and only few core believers mining...
Megacoin... Most new coins are using the KGW, and I expect there will be more reasons soon.

I quite agree, im quite surprised how fast blackcoin has increased. I think NXT has alot going for it.
Other coins like digitalcoin have some great technologies added too.
