i have done that and being patient...  my concern is would it be more professional to receive an email at least to say that my account got frozen due to.......    and instead to find out after you deposited from mining and try to withdraw the after converting to btc!! the only email i just get is from help desk got my ticket and still no warning why my account get closed?  for Bitcoin , it still not like banking and im getting worried about BTC popularity which exchanged are hurting bitcoins image,,

this is once happen to me,its happen if you generate too many address on same time,or too many generte various address.
just contact poloniex and send a message about what happen to you,and they will explain how your account frozen.

Edit: Didn't know that could happen thanks Realphotoshopper I'll be careful myself with generating to many new addresses.

Address generation has been disabled on Poloniex. It has been this way for about a week and a half.
They disabled the ability to change deposit addresses since they claim users are now abusing it. Which is bizarre.
The most likely reasoning for disabling this feature is to conform to government regulations such as KYC and etc.

So, the OPs frozen account, may not be related to address generation, if it was frozen within the past few days.

I dont know where to post this , did anyone else get their account frozen??  i just noticed this last night and of course i asked help desk for help..   im at tier 2 with then and not even a email to notify me that they frozen my account..  first cryptsy but at least cryptsy helped me get most of my funds and i just deposited at polonex  and of course a frozen account they would allows deposits .. its wrongs type of ways to handle a very important business..   please feel free to express your views on crypto exchanges..

 

Interesting I have never had my polo frozen and the account seems to be working for me at present. That said it might not hurt to send a support ticket over there to clarify why they froze your account, my trades are still working fine here.
(Only thing that might occur is you passed your daily limit and can't withdraw till 24 hours pass)
Edit: Didn't know that could happen thanks Realphotoshopper I'll be careful myself with generating to many new addresses.

Never had any problems with them even tho have stopped using both of them as keep hearing bad things happening to peoples accounts so I have decided to not use them as much as I use to and when I use I will only put coin in and trade and then take coin out to be on the safe side. In terms of been frozen in what way have you been frozen if locked out speak to support should able resolve it. If its banned and suspended then again it will have to be support who unlock it.
