From what I have seen the mods have been aggressive at enforcing the rules in the gambling section as of recently as I have seen many signatures of ponzi operators have messages in their signatures saying they are banned. I would say this is a good start to stopping the ponzi scams/spam in the gambling section.
Another way to stop this spam/scams would be to have some kind of minimum amount of activity requirement before people can create a new thread in the gambling section. No this would not stop the ponzi scams entirely but it would slow them down.
No this would not stop legit users from joining our community because realistically no one is going to join our community and immediately start any kind of bitcoin casino that operates in a legit fashion
