The maximum people should be able to deposit should be lowered to 1 BTC imo to start with. That 2.5 BTC turning into 3.5 is kind of eating payments for now..

can i deposit from a coinbase account?
you can but dont expect your coins to be sent back to your address because coinbase uses different address in sending coins
