I don't really see the point of these bots frankly speaking. I just convert my BTC to crypto like LTC, Doge, XRP etc for free in popular exchanges like Binance etc and send them to sites like Stake etc.

I know that you charge a small fee for your bot op which is a good thing, but even that can be avoided completely through what I mentioned. Can you specify some additional use-cases?

First of all, I would like to Welcome @poorbot and the team behind it. As you would be managing this campaign I think poorbot.io would be able to get a good amount of forum users. I still do not understand the practical usage of this platform, if anyone can explain me then I would be thankful. The next thing I would like to inform the OP is to add some images to the ANN page and make the platform look good. I did visit the platform and it looked dull and reminded me website in the early ages of the Internet. A little bit of animation or graphic images can do wonders for the platform if they as the owners work on it.

Hi, it's used in the well known gambling platform, Stake. Say you have a bit of bitcoin balance, $30. Since Bitcoin fees are high, and minimum deposit on exchanges etc might be higher, you can send $30 BTC to this bot, and get ~$29.9 LTC to make cheaper and more convenient transfers.

It's recently launched, so thread is a bit plain I agree, it will be improved!
And yes, website is really basic. As I said above, I like to keep it simple and easy. It has only one job, take a currency, send back another currency. Maybe design could be improved, but generally it's most likely going to stay like that. No need to bother with lots of pages, popups, confirmations for a thing that can be done in a single form!
But for sure it will be cleaned up, and a how-to guide with images / videos will be added.

Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions!

Welcome to bitcointalk platform. I really commend you for this innovation and development. I was wondering why your licence was not displayed on your website for all to see because that would convince your prospective clients that you are legit and legally registered as that is one of the basic information they look for on websites before they engage.

Since your licence is not there on your website, can you clearly tell us under which jurisdiction you are registered? So we could know as you can see the interest in your services here and I will also applaud your move to embarking on a promotional campaign. This would boost your presence here on bitcointalk platform. Congratulations one the launch of your project.

Hello, there's no registration, and it would probably not be possible. This service works via Stake's tipping feature, it receives a "tip" from user, and promises to send back that amount (minus fees), in the currency of user's choice via tips again. It's nothing official.
And the limits are low, since this is mostly useful for exchanging "dust" amounts. If you have $5,000 to exchange obviously this is not the best choice!
Regarding legitness, it takes a long time to build trust and only one bad transaction to lose it. And again since this service is meant for small amounts, it wouldn't make sense to be malicious!

Thanks for your comments!

I don't know why stake.com doesn't have this swap feature. They have been in the industry for more than 5 years and they are well-known online casino yet, they don't have this swap feature. Anyway, since this isn't affiliated with stake.com, does stake.com know about this service? If yes, do they allow this kind of service on their platform? Anyway good luck to your service!

Hello, yes of course, I've talked with relevant people and to summarize, they basically said,  that they cannot say anything officially (such as "approve" or "allow") for obvious reasons, but as long as it works properly there shouldn't be any problems.
Thanks!

Thanks everyone for your interest and comments!

Hi, it works by user tipping to bot first, and then entering their username, tipped amount and currency, and the target currency. Exchange is completed instantly. If you tip publicly on chat, everyone will be able to see your username, tipped amount and currency. This is a rare case but just wanted to let users know that!
I see, so you are not referring to a user hijacking an exchange trade by switching the target currency without the user knowing. If I want to trade BTC to USDT, and then post it publicly, someone can send ETH to me but it won't affect the exchange process, right? Basically, it will become a privacy issue if a user is using the public option, which is why the private one is recommended.

If you post your BTC tip publicly, someone could enter the site and fill out the form, "on your behalf", and exchange it to ETH instead, since there's no other (practical) way to validate whose tip it is. A possible "attacker" would gain nothing from this but just annoy people.

It reminds me of dinabot, I think poorbot works the same as dinabot and it can be said that poorbot is now competitor of dinabot but I'm not sure if dinabot is still alive or not because I used it few times only and the last one was more than a year ago. As I can see poorbot is offering some better things such as lower fee and no account needed. Well. welcome to the forum and wish the best success for your service. However, do you have plans to add more casinos in the future or you will be available at Stake only?

Yes, it's quite similar to Dinabot, I personally didn't like it / some features of it, so decided to make a better one (in my opinion Cheesy )
Thanks a lot for your comments!
Currently I don't have any plans for other casinos.

It's great to see a new service catering to the Stake community; your exchange platform is straightforward. The website design is okay and simple enough. One suggestion I have is to possibly add another column to the Fee & Limits section for the current amount equivalent to the max get. For example, the Max get for Bitcoin is $500, and its current amount would be 0.012 BTC. Yes, it's an additional conversion, but I believe it can be done. Also, in the Exchange Now section, it might be possible to add an option to input the dollar value for the amount sent.
You're right, I will take a look into these conversion stuff soon. Thanks for your comments!

..
I will definitely try to this service soon, but before I do, I did suggest op to provide a set by step guide, in order that users do not make any mistakes in the process.

Thanks for your comments!
You're right, I'm working on making a few videos explaining how to use it. But still, it's kinda hard to make a mistake, and worst case you'll get your coins back so no worries Smiley

Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform
This actually is a new business idea and it's great, many a times in the past and even present, I had found myself in a situation where I wished Stake had a built-in exchanger where players can be able to exchange their crypto coins to other crypto coin, for example, exchange bitcoin for usdt in times of high market volatility, or in times of high transaction fees due to network congestions like we have it currently, in times of withdrawal.

Like for example, we get paid in bitcoin weekly for our signatures ads, withdrawing the bitcoin cost much in fees currently, this service will be very helpful as users can easily exchange the bitcoin for usdt or any other coin with low withdrawal fees, for cheap, easy and fast withdrawal.

Kudos to whomever came up with this idea, this is one I think will become a really successful business if the founders can give it a good and long term marketing on this forum and maybe in other stake forums as well.

I will definitely try to this service soon, but before I do, I did suggest op to provide a set by step guide, in order that users do not make any mistakes in the process.

Interesting. I had a plan earlier to create an exchanger for different casinos + coins but due to lack of enough time, I couldn't start. Would be happy to see some more casinos, I think that will give advantage to both you and the gamblers.

Like the design of the website though, very minimalist, is this the first time that we have seen this kind of service though? Just curious as for me I haven't seen it before specially from a gambling site.

Thanks for your opinion! I like to keep things simple, something unfortunately not very common in today's internet Smiley
As far as I know, currently there is one similar service for Stake, which felt too expensive and harder to use. I'm not sure about other casinos, but some of them have built-in exchange feature IIRC.

Also just to make it clear again in case someone gets it wrong, it's not "from" Stake, this is an independent service

Wow!
This is a great news to see that the most reputable manager is handling the project, op be rest assured that you are covered and you are lucky enough for him to have handled your project, with little I know he hardly handles some projects due to his personal reason maybe he could finds those project not worthy enough or not upto his standard to promote them. But for your project this bring a new journey and a new step to your project, I wish to take part yahoo62278 but not too long just few days I was already accepted in this current project I am promoting. Anyway good luck

Yes, definitely it's a good way for this project to bring their names in this forum with a signature campaign.

I'm a bit confused about what this statement means:
Quote
Since there's no registration, it's recommended to send your tip private, in case someone sees your tip and tries to be funny by exchanging it to a coin you don't want before you
Source: https://poorbot.io

How can someone change our choice of coin if an exchange has been requested? I thought being public or private only hides the tipping process, but any exchange is done in the background. Is this related to how Stake tipping works?
