This week we have a couple of key announcements; one big milestone, a set of nice photos and some exciting new partnerships and listings, helping us move closer to mass adoption one step at a time.

App update
We’ve listened to you- the community and thanks to your great feedback we’ve further developed the app to easily track and notify you of your Miner pay-outs. Your Mobile Miner has additional functions- we have new visual notifications on your wallet progress which include; payment received, payment processing and payment queued-so that you know your pay-outs are secure.

100,000 Mobile Miners & 1.25m Users
Adding to the update above ETN hit 100,000 mobile miners for the first time since the app went live and we now have 1.25m confirmed users. We’ve done this without any marketing. Marketing will begin as soon as we launch our instant payment system, allowing vendors to accept ETN easily, and instantly. This is our first milestone of mass adoption. We are going to make cryptocurrency widely and easily accepted and you are all part of that!

hahah this is funny. I have around 20ETNs that are lost some how! I had to have 2x10 etn transfers from the mobile miner, that were dispatched from the app while the blockchain was having a lot of issues and they are still not in my wallet.
The last 150ETNs that were mined with the app are already in my wallet, but how can I recover the 20 lost ones? Or should I wait a bit longer and they will show up? Following the blockchain tech logic, they cannot be lost just like that, but still I am waiting for these for more than a month lol.

i think etn maybe back to 0.05- 0.1$ before Hard fork .still few ppl know about HF?

I cant explain to myself what it the reason for this sudden climb.
I am a bit sceptical because I might be just a pump and you all know what comes after that...

dude, you still didn`t get it? your mining simulation isn`t real mining... you do nothing on the chain, so the asic miners affect zero to your payouts.
maybe you get less payout because of more app users

Can 100000 mobile miners beat one asic? `Today I earn 10ETN with 3 rryzen and before the asic release it was like 50, wish the hard fork will happen faster.

Like they could actually test it on every device, with different Android versions! It's not like they have a dangerous bug, from what I understand it just has something to do with the notification and the aggresive power saving some Android versions have.
As for your question: They are unsold coins from the ICO, or in other word, part of premined coins that were meant to be distributed to the community in various ways.
I'm sorry but I can't find a source for it, I just remember it from when Electroneum was starting.

It's just bad that they always roll out updates without testing them, and after the update is made public, within a few hours, they apologize and ask for our patience.

It just keeps on happening, every time.

BTW, does anybody have any idea at all that from what fund (or from what ETN reserves) they're rolling out the mobile mining payouts, since it's not the actual mining (according to the app details)?

There have been several updates on Facebook today. Apparently they are experiencing some technical problems with the App (earlier today they had posted about the new tech updates to the app).
