In the next round I'll get back to betting with the top 3 + Braga, the odds will be 2.38, it's not much but I'll stick to my strategy which has already worked well

Braga should have the most complicated game on this list. Normally, Rio Ave tends to make life difficult for these teams.
Therefore, pay attention to their performance in the Champions League, which may help you understand something more. Although they are very different games, of course.

It was another exciting journey, with a classic game between Benfica vs Porto, and Sporting winning the game in the last minute. In nine games, only 3 did not have red cards.

It looks like Boavista are losing ground after a great start to the championship, the are already five points behind the leader
And the last unbeaten team is Sporting

In the next round I'll get back to betting with the top 3 + Braga, the odds will be 2.38, it's not much but I'll stick to my strategy which has already worked well

I'm only thinking about the Porto game, it doesn't make much sense to place this bet paying 1.12, but the odds are enormous  Huh

Last month I saw an interview on my country's TV in which Porto's coach complained that the management was not making the necessary investment in the squad, I didn't understand, could it be that Porto is going through some financial crisis that prevents them from making many hires?

Yes, Porto is having a lot of financial problems.
They have been under the financial fair-play regime imposed by UEFA, and have been for about 5 years (if I'm not mistaken).

Therefore, they have to sell players for below market prices or even fail to renew some players, who end up leaving at zero cost.

So, yes, Porto has had great financial difficulties in recent years. In the past you spent more money than you should, and now you are suffering because of it.

I lost my multibet bet because of napoli or mine because I bet on napoli, I wanted to have placed a draw or napoli.

Wow, multiple of 7  Shocked
I make mine with 3 bets and I think it's already a lot
The Portuguese league is very good for these multiples, but I don't have the courage to include the other leagues in my bets just yet

How much were the odds on that bet you made? By the way, sorry for your loss  Tongue

I moderated a lot on this bet, even though there were 7 games in this multibet bet, the odds weren't great, if my memory serves me correctly the odds were between 7.00 and 10.00, whereas I prefer to place 7 games in a multibet bet with odds of 30.00, that's because I've already realized that if I keep betting on simple bets, despite making some profit, the odds become low and to make matters worse, if I have a losing streak I lose everything, so if that's the case, it's much better to see it as a lottery and keep trying my luck, nothing. to put a lot of money, 5$ at most and with the highest possible odd value, if I get it right then I will already have a profit that would compensate for all my small losses, besides, by doing it this way I don't expect to make a consistent profit because that's my mission. impossible in the long term with gambling. My goal is just to try my luck and win a lot, even if it's only a few times and of course always putting in a maximum of $5 each week

but they win games with difficulty, this means that when they feel like they can lose then they will use their schemes to win the game, this is a strategy (cheating) that guarantees Porto the title this season, but strange that in the league of European champions they played well and without cheating, I don't understand why in the Portuguese league they are struggling to win games, their problem seems to me to be in the attack, which cannot take advantage of any opportunity to score a goal. Benfica won in their game against Portimonense, as expected from Benfica, they manage to win and score a lot of goals and it was a clean victory without cheating

Benfica are doing well in the Portuguese league, but they are doing poorly in the European Champions League, although I believe it was the red card that hurt them in the European Champions League game.

I think next Friday's game will be the litmus test for Porto and Benfica. Whoever wins this game will be the one who marks the position of possible winner of the championship. In recent years, Porto has had an advantage over Benfica in direct confrontations. So, let's expect a very  exciting game.

Regarding Sporting, I think they haven't faced a really difficult opponent yet. Let's see how things go.

Benfica won the game and with that they are in first place, I must say that the red card that the Porto player received in the 19th minute was one of the reasons for Porto's defeat, despite Benfica dominating the game, they had a lot of difficulties When it came to scoring goals, they wasted a lot of opportunities and if Porto had 11 players I believe that in this game we could see at least a draw, I see that Porto this season is much worse than last season, unfortunately it is complicated for Porto. Last month I saw an interview on my country's TV in which Porto's coach complained that the management was not making the necessary investment in the squad, I didn't understand, could it be that Porto is going through some financial crisis that prevents them from making many hires?

I didn't see any big news in terms of Porto's signings, in attack I didn't see any big changes, so this season for me Benfica and Sporting have a better chance of winning the league, but if Porto relies on cheating and Benfica and Sporting lose some game, then the port will be champion. In other words, Porto this season would only be champions if they use cheating, because if they count on winning the games fairly, then they will have many defeats that will not even place them in the top 3 places. About Sporting, I see them beating Farense and with that Sporting will have 19 points and be at the top of the league and Benfica will be in second place

Initially I was mad about referee decision to show straight red card to Cardoso. It looked like clean tackle and even yellow card would be too much. But after watching replay few more times, it looks like good call. After initial tackle Cardoso lifted his leg up to make sure that his opponent would fall. So, I changed my mind after this decision:

In general, we saw good fight tonight, but probably it's nothing surprising that Benfica managed to score playing 11 vs 10.

It was certainly a case of a red card
Fabio Cardoso lifted his leg too much to try and hit David Neres, there was no need to do that and he wasn't focused on the ball, in my opinion the referee got it right
And he also risked seriously injuring the Benfica player

Benfica got a very important win for the whole league, after all they got the 3 points and didn't let Porto score. At the end of the season it could make a huge difference, just as it did last year
A super positive note for Di Maria, who has been playing well and helping Benfica, in 6 games he has scored 5 goals

That's why I don't usually bet on these derbies, anything can happen, the red card at the start of the game really affected Porto, 1 player less for 70 minutes is a lot, hard to hold a draw or even think about a win

Seems that odds for Benfica win is going down, last time when I checked it few days ago they weren't so clearly favoured. Not really sure about it, I don't see them as such big favourites, both teams is doing well so far, though most of their wins against underdogs isn't easy at all. I checked H2H results of these teams and I can't believe what I saw - last time when Benfica won against Porto at home was in 2018 - 5 years ago. Before that they won just in 2014. Unbeleavable. But all series comes to the end sooner or later...
My bet on this game is BTTS @1.71.

I think this is one of the most important matches in Europe today. If we count this weekend, it will be a pleasure to watch this derby. We can say that both teams have performed as expected in the league so far. They did not encounter any surprise results. However, any score is possible in this derby. I think the match may end in a draw. It will be a match that Sporting Lisbon will follow closely.

Statistically, Benfica has lost several games against Porto. So this drop in the odds of victory for Benfica turns out to be normal.
However, both teams are practically at the same competitive level, so I believe it will be a balanced game.

Any concrete predictions for this game?

I think it's very difficult to predict, because both teams have been playing at more or less the same level.
Statistically, Porto has won more times than Benfica, even at home. In turn, Benfica has already beaten Porto this season.
Porto had a good performance in the Champions League, but has had difficulty winning national championship games, achieving victories in extra time.
In the case of Benfica, they lost in the Champions League, and have also lost a game in the national championship, and despite having won games, their performances have not been surprising.
Both clubs will have an important clash next week in the Champions League. Porto plays Barcelona, and Benfica plays Inter. Despite this, normally the most important thing for these clubs is the national championship.
In terms of players, I think that the best players currently are available to go to the game.

Talking about this game, here in my country we call it a 6-point game, because as well as being worth 3 points for the team, the direct opponent for the title fails to win those 3 points, so it's an extremely important and valuable game for any team.
A draw is a satisfactory result for both teams.

The odds for this match are very favorable for Benfica, but I think that's just because they're playing at home

Any concrete predictions for this game?

I'll tell you in advance that I'm not going to bet a multi on this game because it's unpredictable

Porto won in their game against Gil Vicente, it was a game in which once again I didn't see Porto scoring many goals and winning the game easily, it seems to me that Porto have not been able to have a very strong squad since last season. strong team capable of going far in the European champions' league, in fact it seems to me that all the teams in the Portuguese league, I'm talking about Porto, Benfica, Sporting have not prepared themselves so that they have the squad to win the European champions' league, I don't know why the teams The biggest players in the Portuguese league do not have this objective. But leaving that aside and looking at the league, I see Porto as weak, but they still have the potential to be champions, and since they are at the top they will probably reduce the schemes they have used to win.

but they win games with difficulty, this means that when they feel like they can lose then they will use their schemes to win the game, this is a strategy (cheating) that guarantees Porto the title this season, but strange that in the league of European champions they played well and without cheating, I don't understand why in the Portuguese league they are struggling to win games, their problem seems to me to be in the attack, which cannot take advantage of any opportunity to score a goal. Tomorrow SPorting Lisbon hosts Rio Ave; what are your predictions ?

I believe Sporting will win the game. Despite the fact that Rio Ave is a difficult team, it tends to make games difficult for the big players. Sporting itself has a history of losing points to Rio Ave. But, they will play at home and will have the support of their fans, I believe they will win.

You are correct, Sporting Lisbon won the game at home, with 2 goals and a cleansheet. The goals were scored by Paulinho and Edwards and the win takes Sporting Lisbon to the top of the Portuguese League with 16 points.

Very good weekend i would say, Porto got a win at home scoring 2 goals, Benfica won away at Portimonense with 3 goals to 1, recovering from their defeat last weekend; while Braga thrashed Boavista with good 4 goals to 1 (i missed this entirely hahahah).

Tomorrow SPorting Lisbon hosts Rio Ave; what are your predictions ?

You can laugh at me, but I believed in Boavista's victory hehehe  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy, I even bet 5 dollars, but I got it wrong
At least my bet on Porto and Benfica worked out, all that's left is for Sporting to win tomorrow to close out my multiple with a victory, and I'll be able to get back what I lost, at least

With that, Porto are back in the lead, and tomorrow if Sporting win, they'll take Porto's place as they'll have a better goal difference
