ya I remember the 14.4k, first computers i build were amd 486DX2 66MHz cpu's, 8MB ram, 40MB hdd, DoS 5.0 with Win3.1, lol

Did it have the turbo button?  Grin

I was playing around on an apple IIe when I was in grade school, my first personal pc after that was an unnamed tower that had a bad gpu so it couldn't run 3.x, had to do everything in DOS Smiley Before that I was reprogramming and teaching my parents how to use a word processor my father had for work.

Commodore 64 for xmas when I was 5.  I pretty much learned to read by reading the BASIC programming book that came with it trying to get that damn computer to talk to me like in the movies lol.  After that it was a monochrome 286 with a turbo button(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbo_button).  Many games of solitaire were played on that thing... you just made sure not to win because the cascade of cards would grind that thing to a halt.  Then the iterations of all the processors in various hand-me-down computers after that.  Speaking of parents, I was responsible for doing the 30+ diskette backup of my dad's work computer.... "insert new disk, press ok when ready" and then wait for 5 minutes.

If I was old enough then, I would have been looking for some magical, recreational substance that would have made the boring repetitiveness less boring.  Cheesy

Worst name for a button ever on a computer btw. How many people smashed that button over and over only to slow things down?

have no connection to the wallet since 3 day sombody same problem?

Do you have other wallets running with a connection to their networks? Have you made any changes to your computer or routers firewall that might be blocking the connections?
You can grab a list of nodes from https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pot/#!network
Copy and paste the entire list to a "potcoin.conf" file in the same folder as your blockchain, if your on windows its under appdata\roaming, you can browse there in an explorer window by using %appdata% and hitting enter.

i found the problem the firewall has block pot wallet but the others not xD

edit:

i have 8 connections to the network but he do not load the blocks he is 4 days behind
I don't know if it's related but I was having the same problem on more than one wallet but not all wallets. I found that my wireless connection was connecting / disconnecting over and over and the data xmission was very slow. I disconnected wireless and plugged in to the router (cat 5 cable) and have had no problems since. Hope it helps. -M

What other devices do you have on your network? This question is posed to anyone having network issues.
I have a WD MYCloud and was getting pretty pissed off at my router until I found out that the mycloud has a buggy implementation of IPV6 that floods the network with bad traffic, once I found out how and got in and disabled it and some other things that weren't needed my network was acting more like it should and less like I was back on 14.4k.

I and my business partner @lothendriel are unofficially launching our POS dedicated site, http://letsgetstaking.com
I have methodically created bootstraps and quickstart packs for a TON of POS coins, if anyone would like to see other coins added, please let me know. Because this is a soft launch, I ask that people please grab the bootstraps for one of the coins and see if it works, I tested a few of them without issue, but the more feedback I can get the better.

Rdyoung did you try DopeCoin on your site ? Pm if you need anything from us to test.

Yep, I have dopecoin staking in a wallet on my POS server and I have it as a bootstrap. It is also in our list of coins on the order form Smiley.
I did post this to the dopecoin thread as well, guess it got pushed out of the way by other posts and that damn cann spammer.
You mean ANTI-CANN spammer. -M

Tomato/Tomato.
No, not in this case. This spammer is malicious. He hurts every MJ coin and every investment equally. His bots and continuous blasting under new names is no less than a full scale political attack. We are getting closer to the vote on medical, at least here in Florida. This guy is bad for business. Our (including crypto) business. I have turned many "normal folks" on to reading these forums (and any other articles / links that I can pass on) to get educated to the value of MMJ and then get them to vote. Because that spammer's posts are everywhere one can only get the idea that MJ is still a dirty business. Why would they support it? After reading his post my own cousin wonders if MMJ is backed by the porn industry. It's maddening to anyone fighting for Charlottes Web and medical medicine.
As far as the Tomatoes -- I like the idea of staking but what's the point when the value is 5 zeros? Tomatoes at the market are 1.77 a pound, about 2000 pot. How long to Stake a tomato? This guy needs to be stopped. I don't know how. It's very frustrating. It's not often That I'm so acrimonious. -M

Ok, wow that was a lot to take in.

I feel you on the medical MJ in florida, I grew up there. From what I have been told its not a big leap forward for legal MJ, its a law to allow its use for specific diseases in mostly children that affect only a small part of the population, something like 0.000001%.
Yes, whether this moron is pro or anti-cann is tomato/tomato, he is only hurting his own cause by posting the same thing over and over again and believing that being "sorry" makes it ok. He is in fact likely helping cann by doing this, people see that shit everywhere and start to wonder why someone has such a raging hardon about the guy behind that coin.

In my experience it takes about as long to stake a tomato as it does decent MJ. About 90days for soil grown and outside, but if you bring them in and use hydro and specific wavelengths of LEDs you can cut down that down to about 60, and you can get it to 45 or less if you go full aeroponic Smiley.
I am currently in NC but I have a tomato bush from the ones I failed to harvest last year Smiley. Need to move back to tpa or miami so I can grow them year round.
Hey Rd, ok, tomato - thanks for the smile. -M
