Money in this century is everything you don't have money then you don't get the respect and response you want
Power if not use in the right direction can lead to damnation should be used but shouldn't be abused
Money every day you with it you can enough power, a lot will think opposite though.
I agree with you on this, with money you get almost everything and you can't be powerful without money,so I would choose money in place of power cause with money i have both power and fame, Money can solve almost everything on this earth.
after God is money because you can not be noticeable when you don't have money because when money is in your hand people don't know you will notice in all forms' any body who argued that money is not power don't know the benefits of money, every person talking one thing

Power is mother of all evils. Including money. The richest nations in the world are the most powerful ones. Power help to create and maintain systems and through such systems money is generated. We already know the power consumption of bitcoin and its value.. SO if i have to choose from the two, it surely will be the power.

Power or Money ?
There is financial power, military power, political power, spiritual power, and even money falls under financial power, In a society where everyone has money, your money cannot make you influential because everyone is equal having same financial power. The most influential in such a case becomes the person who possesses another kind of power say, political, military or even spiritual power. So power is more important to me.

I'm grabbing the coins, thank you LOL. But seriously, there are times where money is more useful. Take for example during the close of medieval period, the landed nobility technically have all the power, with their many privilege and rights as elites but they didn't have the money they needed to participate in the emerging new order. This led to the arrangements where they'd stoop to marry the daughters of merchants for the sizable dowry (the merchant family gains the prestige of marrying into nobles).

You can just imagine how much more important money is now in today's capitalist and globalist order. Simply put, you can have various forms of power but if you can't convert some of those into money, you'd have a hard time holding on to the power that you have. You'd be that lord sitting in his dilapidated castle (coz he don't have the money to renovate) looking at his untended land (coz he don't have money to pay labor) while thinking to himself "I am a lord, I am powerful".

Both would work and I find them interchangable but as my name suggests, I'm picking money. What is power? Money is more quantifiable.

I think money is a representation of power. If you pursue money, what you're really pursuing is power. Money doesn't give you anything other than power - it gives you the power to acquire things, and the power to control people. If it didn't do either of these things, it would be worthless. Money is also a (quantifiable) way in which people can demonstrate their power.

I see it more as a representation of time and resources, which when allocated give rise to power. It's like that one tribe where they accumulate cows and give them away for prestige.

Power is Power,
Money is also Power.

So, if you're too choose one, what you down for ?
Power or Money ?

I would go with money. The ultimate goal of power is also money. So if you have money, you already have what you would or could have achieved with power. So, what i want is alot of money, beautiful girls, health to play with them, love and alot of property.

"Power resides where men believe it resides." -Lord Varys, the Spider

Politics is power.
Science is power too.
Weapons are power.
Money is power.
Religion is power.

Think about all these.

Depending on the situation every single one of them can be lethal. See how we listen to the scientists (or so called "scientists") during the pandemic, before covid19 not as many people gave a shit about the doctors unless they the ones that became sick. Now healthy or not, people listen to the doctors especially when they speak about covid19.

Then the war started in Ukraine. People started to listen to the politicians.

Inflation is rising? It is time to listen to the bankers.

Getting old? Religious people come to your aid and show you "the way".

And this goes on and on...

I suppose when your referring to power in this case, yiu are talking about the status pwoer that exists in societies. Looking at it from that angle, you can over emphasise the power that someone's financial capacity can accord a man.

There was a saying that came off the oesophagus of local governor in a neighbouring state to mine once. This guy was at the hight of corrupt practices and wasn't shy to say it when he wanted something done. He said:

"What money cannot do, more money can"

The key word here is money and the power of getting things done. Its just a matter of price. Sometimes I wonder, if money solves problems or creates more problems. Unfortunately, it always comes down to the fact that, money solves the problems it creates. That's how strange a thing it is.

power brings respect and money also brings respect and not that separate money from power and if you ask me to choose i will choose no one because two of them is same thing and except you are talking of local power that come without money but political power or government power comes with money but apart from that power of local money is stronger than that local power
