I will definitely choose money because if I have money then my power will also increase. How can I show power if I don't have money? Nowadays everyone is running after the one who has money and the one who has no money has no value anywhere. If I don't have money then I will have no value in society and no one will listen to me. If I have money I can do whatever I want, without money it is very difficult to survive in the present age. So money is power.

I think money is the key to empowerment. Power expansion is not possible in today's world without money. I think it is nothing but foolishness to think that money is the key to achieving power but also the key to achieving peace.

If we look from the ancient times then we can have a better understanding of the meaning. In ancient times, the zamindars starting from the king-maharaj used to oppress and collect money from the subjects under him only for money. One of their main objectives here was to earn money and expand power.

THERE ARE DIFFERENT FORMS OF POWER, I Don't know which power you are talking about. But I will put my point this way. As we are living in this modern world money is the source of everything. If you have it you will be considered powerful and everyone will start to respect him or her.

Earlier as i said there are many types of power. Let's Say you have physical power for example, You have a great body with great muscles to crush someone's face. This is also called power

Money is the root of all power. A man can never show power if he has no money. Whenever a man has enough money everyone will give him money and he can show his power. Here if I am asked to choose power and money, I will definitely choose money because with money I can solve everything later. Power is nothing compared to money.

What we need to know is, without money the power you feel you have is useless, you need both to balance the equation. If you use both (money and power) in a political way you'd see how strong both are together but without one the other can't function. Lets say if you have money without power you can't challenge someone who has money and power, the money alone controls the power and makes it stronger so you that have only money you can't enforce it on anybody or anything just like how someone with money and power will.

Assuming we are talking about power which was earned through legal/democratic means (political power). I think I would rather to have money.
Because with that power comes a bigger responsibility and I am not sure I would be ready to hold.

The life of thousands of people could be easily affected by my choices, with money I am the sole responsible on what I do with it and it is less likely I could worsen the life of people around me by mismanaging my own capital. In the best case scenario, I could even create more wealth and provide jobs for others as a private business person.

I would like to say that I could use power to make the world a better place to live in for me an others, but I am not sure how I would do that, being realistic.
