I got my FindYouCoin wallet intact

Will get this one running too, am pleased to see people rallying around new Find

it has - on www.findcoin.info  

Hopefully the launch will  have a countdown calendar

Wallets are ready for win/linux/mac, 20M coins are premined for distribution, today i'm ordering vps for node and faucet.

Hope to launch as planned

Ok, first of all - all you guys who are saying that FindCoin is a fork of FindYouCoin that is a fork of MiracleCoin - you're right.

We don't have super-experienced dev with us to create coin with some unique tech features - and, frankly speaking, it doesn't matter.

How many coins do you know that had cool and unique features - and despite that died?


So, as I see it (Find community, correct me, if I'm wrong) the point of FindCoin is not to just create another coin. The point is to create community, economy, and, if I may say, some kind of movement that has one purpose: to bring justice and trust to altcoins market.


FindCoin is more like umbrella/family branding for such things as:

1) Proof of Identity - service like Proof of Developer, but not only for devs; for any person that wants you to invest your money in his venture. We collect his/her personal info, verify it and disclose it in case things went south.

2) Anti-scam scoring/rating/watchlist - our community will try to keep track of all the things happening with altcoins market and creating/updating trust rating for any old/new coins, exchanges, any other services that are presented in the market.

3) Counter-scam and counter-PnD insurance - so anyone can hedge/secure their investments in some new altcoins and not losing 99% of his money if dev's gone AWOL, but 15-20% of it tops.

4) Find collateral - can be used if you bought, say, FindCoin and want to hold it, but also want to use some btc invested in Find to buy another altcoins. So you send your FindCoins to our trusted escrow, and get 60-70% of its value in btc for a fixed time, like 1 week. After that 1 week ends you'll return us btc + small %, and get back your find coins.

5) Altcoins repo services - repurchase agreements for different altcoins based on their trust rating; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repurchase_agreement, don't confuse with repossession of collateral.

There will be a lot of services and a lot of things to do. And this all have nothing to do with the complexity of coin itself   The community, economy and even idea behind FindCoin matters; it's wallet's features or unique coin's tech design not.
