Thats big news because India has very little oil to spread between its 1 billion people. They are very active population also with alot of growth because the majority of the country is actually below 30 years old.
An incredible contrast to large parts of the Western world. India I think could grow so much.

India relys alot on LPG or propane gas type fuel, I know they have been large buyers of oil from Iran even during difficult times for that country. It would be a big deal to secure a buyer for PTR in that route I guess. In theory India could also use gold but I think they retain this as a security only, dollars obviously causes problems for Venezuela and Im not sure why the Ruppe isnt used maybe bilateral trade is not as high as it could be.

Yes. A couple of such successful projects at the state level, and there will be universal crypto recognition. We hope and expect.

I also read that Brazilian companies which will build petroviviendas will accept petros as payment. That's a good sign that El petro Will be accepted world wide

[UPDATE] Maduro stated that the Petro has collected 3338 million dollars (or equivalent). He also said that this money comes from negotiations with large companies, not small-medium investors.

It is unclear whether the negotiations with large companies (like Indian importers) participated in the ICO like everybody else or used different channels. In my opinion it's likely that these negotiation use different, high level channels.

I noticed too and I can't hide that it is worrying, but with this bullshit government you can't even reach them, the money you invested you basically gave it to them and accepted to loose it in case things not going according to plans..I gave 10ETH and I have no news since 38days so I'm slowly loosing faith...🤔😵😶

Later on he explains that "we made transactions to import worth 1,738 billion dollars" and "1,6 billion dollars cash, cash, in various currencies, in ready money then."

Of these 1,6 billion dollars he decided to give 1 billion to the central bank to increase the international reserves "immediately, tomorrow at the first hour":

I'll investigate, but there's no official info on the ICO yet. It's still open and will be for some time as they are supposed to finish the coins for that stage (about 70 million in total).

I also couldn't find any official info on ACTUAL PAYMENTS. Only some tweets and articles in the mass media, which is frankly not a very reliable source.
