Last year saw many people predict BTC year-end prices, but nothing was validated with time. it is very difficult for BTC to reach predictable prices. Future price predictions fail to consider many factors and problems that may occur over time. Maybe, we can only estimate the value of assets for the next few days like weather experts.
It is common for people to predict because no one could actually tell the truth about the future and it was all a BS. Prediction is being used to somehow manipulate others to take advantage of it. But of course, it is really up to the people want to believe of what the other was telling because you as yourself know it already.

As long as bitcoin high volatility hasn't been addressed; pumps and dumps and high rates of manipulation still at large, 95% of all predictions will still be untrue. Not because proper analysis wasn't done before the predictions were reached but because of other factors beyond the control of the predictors (experts alike). That is why it is very dangerous to make trading decisions solely on predictions.

Prediction still prediction and it's not accurate because the market will move far from the prediction. Maybe we can hit a good price, but still, it's not accurate. No right prediction will be giving the right price even with the pro traders itself but they can almost precisely predict that price, and it's not easy. I will say that if it happens, then it's only coincidence and we cannot make the same things the next day.

Well, prediction is often told to people but sometimes it is non-existent. last year many people are predicting the next future. and should be before you do. you first need to do things if you need to predict that there is no guarantee. In other words, do not believe in things that you do not recognize should we just make sure that your beliefs are right.

Not only sometimes but most of the predictions are false and only few of them came true. The unpredictable nature of cryptocurrency make it hard to predict even by a crypto expert and many investors are often dismayed by their trade result after they pinned their hope in the prediction of some experts. Speculation are always part of the trading and its been use to find a possible price of the coin within an hour or day and it is different from predicting the price of the coin in the next several weeks.

You already know if the prediction can't give a definite promise, it's better that you can use the predictors to sell the coins you have, for example when they give predictions that some coins will be priced so much, then you can sell them at the price they predict that your order will be bought by traders who follow the prediction of existing coins, so you can benefit from it so you should be able to have various kinds of coins to take advantage of it.

Sometimes you have to do the research yourself and not believe what these people are saying. 😐They have already predicted that 2017 was going to be a year for correction and a lot of other things , so why believe there will be a bull this year? You don’t have to believe that, if you check the Bitcoin price history you will see that bull doesn’t come straight twice. If it falls it will take like one or two years before it gets back to the top price.

If we say predictions it is somewhat like it is going to happen or might not happen in the future that is why we have to believe on our own instincts. We need to not to believe on some predictions and must be vigilant on the current movement of the market inorder to have reference on the decisions that were going to make to avoid regrets.
Yes, no one knows what will happen exactly ,they just predict what is likely to happen and when it is likely to happen, not that it will happen at that exact time. Sometimes they happen, but it won’t be the exact time they predicted. Just like they predicted that the price will go up to $15,000 in December and that didn’t happen ,don’t be surprised if it happens this January.

Predictions is just like like an opinion with no supporting facts and just pure speculations its not totally accurate to rely in too many experts predictions specially when it comes to cryptocurrency because we all know its an highly manipulated market now we are all learned from last year I myself was also a victim of this like false promises, as we go on time many events will happen that no one knows, no one can predict just do the right thing and we are all good.

You can really never tell as to what will be the exact price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. This is the beauty of decentrailzation; a feature of cryptocurrency and sometime this is the reason why all of these are just falling into the category of speculations. Cryptocurrency values are not influenced by world economy and politics but rather how it is often used and how lively the trading is for that coin. So many speculations are out there but that is all that we can do. So to answer your question, yes, speculations for crypto prices will only be just a vision of hope. This is considered as what if prices according to us.

No, predictions are not promise. So if you predict it is just like estimate on how the market will do. Just like btc price, many predictions has been made but what it was today seems negative on the part of those who predict.

Not sometimes, most of the time those who are giving predictions only wants to make an exit so after they've gave their assessment they eventually the first one who will sell it out after the fomo's and make a good value of their holdings.
Yep, they create hype so they can take profit this is normal now since the market is pumping and dumping. I don’t get the point why some people are trusting someone’s prediction and feel bad if that predictions turns into negative. Why not make your own analysis? A more reliable one that is a result of pure hard-work, and skills. This can help you not to depend on someone, and start learning it on your own.
that's the difference in characteristics of each investor, you can say no to a prediction and speculation, but others may be affected and follow the predictions and speculations of others. thats why this reason greatly affects the market, there are many people who are too sensitive and believe in speculation and predictions, even though that's not necessarily true..

I personally don't believe all this predictions anymore. If you rely on such over ambitious predictions, you may be disappointed once things don't go according to the plans.
I really like your statement and I strongly agree with your opinion because this cryptocurrency will never be able to be predicted so you should not be too confident with predictions given by several groups or channels because you have to know those who are behind the group or the channel has already purchased and already has coins to be announced, so when they provide coin prediction information, you are directly asked to buy the coins they have in the exchange.

The word itself means that it is not 100% accurate so nobody should think of it as anything different. People that haven't read, listen and track all that for a certain amount of time can not know that the predictions should not take for serious, no matter who is behind it.  They could be valuable source of information. The problem is that people, especially in this situation when things are not going well, are attache for good possible outcomes because they need to hear good news, to see the light at the end of tunnel. Their investment is on the stake.

My advise to you is never to believe in any prediction in crypto. 99% of the predictions that were made by so-called experts in 2018 failed. None came to past.

from the beginning I didn't believe in predictions, especially those who only played price puzzles, some news did become a basis for predictions, but that was only 50% of the trust that I could get to win, meaning I also still had the same chance . I stopped trading daily because I had lost a lot, I chose to hold it for a long time.

I think people are hiding behind the anon status when they are doing predictions. When you say bitcoin will go up and people buy and than bitcoin goes down nobody will blame YOU exactly, they may blame your account or nick or whatever but in reality they do not know who you are so you are scott free from any consequences. That's why I think people who go out on shows and make predictions are in a bigger danger because if they something and something else happens we all know they are wrong.

People here writing "BITCOIN WILL BE 1 DOLLAR" or major idiotic things like that do that because they are anon, give them a mic and put them on a TV show and they will not be capable of saying stuff like that out of fear of looking like an idiot with a video proof of their idiocy. Hence, I think anyone that is anon and not presenting the real them should not be giving predictions or at least not cared when they make predictions.

many people expect BTC prices to increase sharply at the end of the year because most of them see that in December 2017 bitcoin price movements soared, but market price movements certainly cannot repeat things exactly like the previous year, if so then market price movements can be easily predicted by everyone

People, talking to others in the real world, or writing on the forum, that after some time the price of Bitcoin will be, for example $50k, of course they don't know whether it really will be or not. Writing about it and repeating this, allows them to partially believe and calm down that their dreams will come true. This is obviously very illusive.
