Liverpool is still very silent in the transfer window which is quite interesting to me.  Huh  There is one month to go for the Premier League to restart. One month left and still no transfer must be worrying for Liverpool fans. Of course there is no important player they have lost recently either. But still I thought there would be some players Arne Slot would like to see in his team.  Sad

I'm curious about whether Salah will leave this summer as well. Al-Ittihad has been interested but no official offer yet as far as I know. Liverpool had better be ready to find a solid replacement in case it happens.

This looks unusual for me also in fact. While other big clubs are quite active in transfer market it is weird not to see Liverpool in the same condition.  Sad

On the other hand it has been only around 2 weeks since Arne Slot joined the club. Maybe it is related to that I don't know. He might not have sent his transfer list to the board yet.

As for Salah topic, I believe there is still a chance to see him leaving this summer. If it doesn't happen now it would happen in the next one. Liverpool would make their preparations thinking of this possibility of course.
Most likely Arne Slot still wants to use the current players, even so there is no pressure for Liverpool management to Arne Slot to force him to find players that Liverpool needs next season, Arne Slot's trust in the players left by Kloop is still good enough if Arne Slot is able to provide the tactics he has, able or not at least saving cash is much better than wasting money to buy expensive players, rather than correcting the squad to find out what is needed.

As long as Liverpool is still playing well, of course there will be purchases in the transfer market next season because no one will know the quality of Liverpool in the hands of Arne Slot.

This is still possible but I think this depends on how interested the SPL club is in the end because after all Salah leaving now is a risk that is definitely very risky for Liverpool but it can still happen when there is a very large bid.

Last season Liverpool were even offered around almost 150 million to let Salah leave and it could be that offers like this will be back when transfers start to get busy and there could be a different result where last season Liverpool did not take the offer but this season there could be another consideration for Liverpool with Slot as their helmsman.

Salah is still a pretty vital player for Liverpool but on the other hand they must also be aware that business can beat their ego to keep Salah so in this case I think we still have to wait for what will happen in the next few weeks because I think the transfer will start hot for the next few weeks.

Perhaps Liverpool has changed there mind in letting go of Mohammed Salah because his performance is still needed on the club at least for this season that is about to start, considering the fact that as so many clubs are seriously trying to get more players and enhance there club but Liverpool on the other hand has not been following that trend, so there is no way they would make any rash decision in letting Mohammed Salah leave the club this season because I don't think there is any player currently on the market that can handles Mohammed Salahs roles in Liverpool.

I don't know why Chelsea management sacked coach Pochettino. We have seen a series of good performances from Chelsea in the last matches of the season. And from this it can be assumed that coach Pochettino was able to stabilize this team. Pochettino was then sacked by the Chelsea management.

However, Chelsea management has appointed a new coach. And spending a lot of money to strengthen their squad. But I would say the Chelsea management should give the coach enough time and opportunities. The Chelsea management is living in a fool's paradise if they expect good performances from Chelsea so quickly. The situation of the Chelsea team is very shaky. This group definitely needs time to improve.
Perhaps the most realistic reason is that Pochettino was unable to make Chelsea perform better than Management expected, he also failed to bring Chelsea to finish in the top four or the European Zone. In my opinion, Chelsea management should not rush into making a decision, they should give Pochettino at least one more season to prove his abilities.
Now that Chelsea will start a new season with a new coach and several new players brought in, management's hopes remain the same as when they appointed Pochettino as coach. It is very likely that Enzo Maresca will suffer the same fate as Pochettino if he is unable to bring Chelsea to compete in the top four, management will immediately fire him and replace him with a new coach.

Personally, I have never had faith in what Ten Hag can do, but if it is to make MU great again like before, then I hope it works for him. It is a fact that the club does not have much money to look for a coach who really measures up. For me, there are many opportunities for him to see if something good comes out of it, but for me it will not work.

I would say that the entire MU team is super good, but it could shine with another coach, although the club does not see it that way. I do not know, but sometimes I think that the owners of the club no longer have that love for the team.

Erik ten Hag: 'At Man United the standard is you win games and definitely don't lose games'

It's nothing about the money honestly. You may not be a fan of Erik Ten Hag, you may not like him personally but then, when you make your analysis, don't let how you feel for him come in between your judgement, do that and you'll see how much of a great football fan you'll be. ( I use myself as example, Chelsea is a team I'll never let my son fan lol, but then, I have never allowed my hate or dislike from this club hate a single player that plays for the club. )

It's not about money, when you look out there, you'll not see a better manager than Erik Ten Hag for the Manchester United job... If Hansi Flick was vacant and eager to land the job, then I'll say they should go all out to get him as manager but he choose Barcelona at the end of it all. We will see to that, Erik Ten Hag will definitely win Manchester United the Premier League Competition. It's same way I predicted he'll win thr Fa Cup Competition and he did, good he has the fans backing him up.

These Manchester United team lacks standard, and there are only a few players with high standards, some of the names playing for Manchester United right now, wouldn't have made it during Sir Alex Fergusons time as manager. The glazers are obviously about profits, because if they have invested with the right coaches, and players Manchester United wouldn't have been this poor all these past years. I'm disappointed with them.

Palmer isn't even a striker, he's a attacking midfielder. But, he's become the top scorer for Chelsea because Chelsea don't have any good striker, so he need to take care by himself. If Chelsea has a good striker, Palmer will become a good support for the striker.

With sooo many players that currently Chelsea have, they need to sell or loan their players as many as possible or they will suffer bad financial.

Not a right move for Chelsea to sign Osimhen when they still have many players.

Agreed, Palmer isn't a striker. But he really performed like a striker last season.  Grin  However of course Chelsea wouldn't rely on him to score this many goals every season. It is difficult for a midfielder to maintain such performance.

This is where Chelsea would make use of a real striker who they can benefit from significantly. They are making their investments into midfielders recently but they had better focus on the attacking area as well. Marc Guiu is a new arrival who is a 18-year-old striker. Chelsea is full of young centre-forwards like this. But I think they should actually have a star scorer there to increase the productivity more.

Jackson is still not good enough. I don't think he should be their main striker because of that.  Sad

ETH was asked to stay, and if the team decided to keep Erik Tan Hag, then they have to follow what he wants. And with typical Dutch manager fashion, he brought in the next star on his list, because he knows how to manage Dutch players and that is who he wanted. I believe that we are going to see them do much better with time, and ETH is building a team that he can control and he can manage.

This transfer could be a great one or a terrible one, we do not know but what we know is that they are trying to do their best, which is all you can ask from them. This may take a while, but it doesn't mean that we are not going to see any success, of course they are going to do fine, they just need some time but could be great right away too.

Erik ten Hag: 'At Man United the standard is you win games and definitely don't lose games'

Quote
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admits there is plenty of hard work still to do after his side opened their pre-season preparations with a 1-0 defeat away to Rosenborg.

The majority of the first-team squad were not involved in Trondheim, and Jadon Sancho – who has returned to training after resolving his differences with Ten Hag – was also not part of the travelling group which was mostly made up of youth players.

Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount, Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, though, were all in the starting line-up at the Lerkendal Stadion, along with veteran defender Jonny Evans.

Chelsea showed big ambition this time after failing with the previous coach, large sums of money were immediately prepared to bring in several quality players to improve the quality of the club. Being absent from the Champions League is certainly a setback for big clubs like Chelsea, they don't want the failures experienced last season to continue next season. It is hoped that the arrival of several new players will improve Chelsea's performance in the competition for the top four positions.

Indeed, Liverpool steps in the transfer market this time do not appear aggressive in recruiting players because so far they have not succeeded in recruiting any players. I think several names of players have been on their target list for this season because under the new coach there will definitely be changes in the Liverpool squad. On the other hand, of course Salah will stay with Liverpool because there is no strong issue that he wants to leave Liverpool.

Talking about Chelsea, they are more active in the transfer market this time. I think Chelsea really has the ambition to recruit star players in this transfer market because Chelsea have not qualified for the Champions League for three seasons, which is quite a big setback for them.
Preparing more complete player material is Liverpool priority for next season, but they have not succeeded in reaching an agreement with any players. Arne Slot will have to focus more on defenders in his first season in charge of Liverpool, as he will lose Joel Matip when his contract expires. Previously, Arne Slot really wanted to land Waldemar Anton, who performed well with Stuttgart, but the player preferred Dortmund to Liverpool. Maybe Liverpool is in the process of negotiating with several players to complete their moves. Arne Slot, who will start managing Liverpool next season, will make preparations to strengthen his squad before the competition starts.

So you think Cole Palmer is not a brilliant striker? he was a key player for the Blues last season, you can check his statistics yourself, he has attracted a lot of attention.
It's true that Oshimen is a great striker, but if Chelsea already has a good striker, why bring in this player, after all, bringing him in doesn't necessarily mean Chelsea will be successful in the EPL.

This won't be the first time they'll be recruiting star players as they always do that every time the transfer window is open. Chelsea don't have a plan, they're just buying everybody they see and this was the same mistake they made last season.
It is not surprising that Chelsea are quite active in the transfer window, they not only change coaches every season but also make player changes and they always recruit young players and this is what makes Chelsea's strength unstable because they always change players if they feel that the player is not capable of performing impressively. Even though Chelsea already has good players in it, they just haven't trained them well. Chelsea wastes too much money on transfers. They don't want to be left behind by other clubs, but what Chelsea is doing is completely wrong, which will make Chelsea commit a transfer violation.

They don't have a very brilliant striker and there's Victor Osimhen that is available in the market. Chelsea not going after him is not a smart move.

Napoli wants Romelu Lukaku and he is a Chelsea player, why don't Chelsea negotiate a deal for swapping of Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen. They can also get some money on top the swapping deal. Chelsea shouldn't just be signing all the stars they hear about but be more focused with their signings.
Chelsea has negotiated with Napoli regarding the exchange, not only giving Lukaku but also Cesare Casadei, but if you think about it, Napoli got a big advantage because Chelsea gave Lukaku and Cesare Casadei for an additional fee of 70 million euros, this is what has not reached an agreement to date because the clause currently benefits Napoli while Chelsea gets Oshimen with his declining performance.

At the moment I have not heard any rumors regarding the players Arne Slot will recruit for Liverpool in this transfer market. But I think it is impossible if Arne Slot doesn't make any player purchases in his first season. Slot has tactics and vision of the game that may be slightly different from Klopp's. And of course it usually benefits a new coach to get some players in his first season. Liverpool are not in bad financial shape although they are not a rich club. So I'm sure that in the remaining transfer period they will also buy several players.
I heard the rumor that Liverpool is interested to sign Frimpong, Kimmich, Dani Olmo, Anthony Gordon, Marc Guehi, and Donyell Malen. Sure, Arne Slot must expect to sign few players to strengthen Liverpool squad. However, it seems Arne Slot doesn't want to hurry buying the players. He is likely to sign the players if their transfer fees are reasonable. Liverpool actually has many players, they don't need significant change on their squad. What I see that Liverpool only has lack of striker (CF), but it is surprising that Arne Slot has no issue to sign a new strong striker. I only know that Liverpool is trying to sign Anthony Gordon, he is actually not a striker (CF), he is a left-winger.

I have not really followed the happenings in the football clubs recently, specially after the premiere league was over, but then, I was also surprised when I learnt that Liverpool are yet to make any transfers in preparation for the new premier league season that is only some months away.
maybe they were doing some preparations, because they have to adapt first to the new coach, but I am sure they will make us surprise with new transfer player.

Meanwhile, for their arrival this season, there is only Joshua Zirkzee, a center-forward from Bologna who is considered quite suitable for Man United.

Zirkzee is a good transfer in my opinion. After parting ways with Martial, the only mainly CF left in the squad was Hojlund. They needed some more squad depth in the position and Zirkzee has arrived.  Smiley
Yes, it's true, signing Joshua Zirkzee is quite reasonable for Man United. He is a striker who is still quite young at 23 years old, so the contract option for the next 5 years is quite reasonable to sign. And with Joshua Zirkzee at Man United, with Ten Hag still being his coach, many are speculating that Man United might have an Ajax-like performance style in the future, if Joshua Zirkzee is the main striker in every match. Yes, indeed, every new signing at Man United is certainly expected to bring big changes to the club. It's just that what we need to understand is that it is a club, not just because a talented player comes and the club will change drastically. Of course, Ten Hag should do that and continue to plan other signings that are very suitable for the progress of the club.

In fact, Liverpool have been linked with several rumors of players they are interested in. However, some time ago, Liverpool pulled out of the competition by getting Leny Yoro from Lile, where Man United and Real Madrid are currently studying him.
Source: Liverpool pulled out of race to sign Leny Yoro

For this reason, Liverpool is more focused on getting other players who might be more capable of actually signing. Some of the lists that are currently emerging or even more intensely rumored after Euro 2024 are:
1. Mohamed Simakan
Liverpool are currently interested in signing the RB Leipzig defender, as they will also have a meeting with Atletico Madrid who are also currently approaching him. At least, they have to spend €40 - €45 million to get Simakan.

2. Teun Koopmeiners
For this Atalanta midfielder, Liverpool also apparently has to compete with Juventus to get Koopmeiners. For a long time, Juventus wanted this Atalanta midfielde

But I am not surprised though, the club may possibly have some plans of their own, and remember this saying that "who laughs last; laughs best", it could be that the club is patiently waiting for other clubs to be done with their transfers, and then they commence theirs, making sure to choose only the very best of players, or maybe they have a different plan altogether, it's completely up to them and I believe they know absolutely what they are doing.

If you look at the record of players brought in by Liverpool, actually this is fairly reasonable because apart from Liverpool's problems which are like an open secret where their power holders are still too stingy to pour funds into player overhaul, they are also not too excited when they start looking for players to be targeted.

We must remember that when Gakpo came to Liverpool a few seasons earlier, there were almost no rumors of Gakpo with Liverpool and even Gakpo was more inclined to Manchester United at that time. But in the end it was Liverpool who managed to bring this player to Anfield and contributed quite well although still a little lacking.
It could be that this season is also like that where they will still do it quietly without giving the code first and directly introducing their new players officially.

What is clear, for now I still believe that Slot will still be looking for several players who will be included to strengthen Liverpool next season because after all this is what he has to do to make the public believe that he is a good successor to replace Klopp.

I'm very surprised that Liverpool is yet to sign a new player at this time of the summer. After Jurgen Klopp left the club, I expect the new manager to sign few new players that'll probably suit his style of football but since he's yet to sign any

We do not hear about the transfer that is happening to Liverpool at the moment even though they are linked with many players, at this time maybe Liverpool is still trying to monitor the players they will recruit and in order to be able to compete in the English League championship next season, Liverpool of course It will not be careless in buying players, Liverpool's movement in the transfer market is indeed not very highlighted by the media but I think they currently definitely have several names that they will recruit, Arne Slot seems to be very selective in choosing players to recruit to really suit the needs of their team next season, there is still a lot of time left in the transfer market allows for Arne Slot to be able to monitor more good and talented players which will indeed be in accordance with his game scheme next season.
