Most likely Arne Slot still wants to use the current players, even so there is no pressure for Liverpool management to Arne Slot to force him to find players that Liverpool needs next season, Arne Slot's trust in the players left by Kloop is still good enough if Arne Slot is able to provide the tactics he has, able or not at least saving cash is much better than wasting money to buy expensive players, rather than correcting the squad to find out what is needed.

Perhaps the most realistic reason is that Pochettino was unable to make Chelsea perform better than Management expected, he also failed to bring Chelsea to finish in the top four or the European Zone. In my opinion, Chelsea management should not rush into making a decision, they should give Pochettino at least one more season to prove his abilities.
Now that Chelsea will start a new season with a new coach and several new players brought in, management's hopes remain the same as when they appointed Pochettino as coach. These Manchester United team lacks standard, and there are only a few players with high standards, some of the names playing for Manchester United right now, wouldn't have made it during Sir Alex Fergusons time as manager. The glazers are obviously about profits, because if they have invested with the right coaches, and players Manchester United wouldn't have been this poor all these past years. I'm disappointed with them.

Agreed, Palmer isn't a striker. But he really performed like a striker last season.    However of course Chelsea wouldn't rely on him to score this many goals every season. It is difficult for a midfielder to maintain such performance.

This is where Chelsea would make use of a real striker who they can benefit from significantly. They are making their investments into midfielders recently but they had better focus on the attacking area as well. Marc Guiu is a new arrival who is a 18-year-old striker. Chelsea is full of young centre-forwards like this. But I think they should actually have a star scorer there to increase the productivity more.

Jackson is still not good enough. I don't think he should be their main striker because of that. 

Personally, I have never had faith in what Ten Hag can do, but if it is to make MU great again like before, then I hope it works for him. It is a fact that the club does not have much money to look for a coach who really measures up. For me, there are many opportunities for him to see if something good comes out of it, but for me it will not work.

Chelsea shouldn't just be signing all the stars they hear about but be more focused with their signings.

I have not really followed the happenings in the football clubs recently, specially after the premiere league was over, but then, I was also surprised when I learnt that Liverpool are yet to make any transfers in preparation for the new premier league season that is only some months away.

But I am not surprised though, the club may possibly have some plans of their own, and remember this saying that "who laughs last; laughs best", it could be that the club is patiently waiting for other clubs to be done with their transfers, and then they commence theirs, making sure to choose only the very best of players, or maybe they have a different plan altogether, it's completely up to them and I believe they know absolutely what they are doing.
