Yeah I think the same. They are doing the right thing by working on solving defensive problems first. Because their goal statistics were like 57 scored and 58 conceded. Really horrible for a big team like them...  Sad

When it comes to Erik ten Hag I think he will have to finish in top 4 at worst to have a chance to move on with the team for another season. If we see them out of it again then I don't think the chairman would like to keep him longer. I would like to see them in the title competition next season but I don't know whether they can make that big progress for now. But this team deserve to bring back their Alex Ferguson times one day.  Roll Eyes

A good defense will bring out the best of Andrea Onana. I have seen this with Ajax and also same with Inter Milan. I won't be surprised too when I start seeing him becoming the goalkeeper with the highest clean sheets and also winning the golden glove. It's a good thing to solve the defense because that's what will guarantee a side that'll win trophies. With Rapheal Varane gone and Victor Lindelof joining Jose Mourinho soon, I think Manchester United needs two solid defenders.

A deal to get Branthewaite completely from Everton would be lovely. He is a tall defender with pace and has a good IQ. With time, he'll work on his ball passing skills.

Manchester United Coach, the fans and the players are bloody hungry for success. They'll definitely do all they can to get there. Next season? Manchester United cannot win the Premier League Competition, I'd say it again, in two seasons Manchester United will win it's 21st Premier League Tittle.

Though you seem dubious about united for the next season, manchester united have to finish at least in the top 4. I have heard that united is now focusing on Barcelona's Kounde, and I think Brantwaite will be teamed with him. Building from scratch takes time, and so I hope united fans will be quite patient.

Ten hag is fully concentrated on defenders, and then United will give the midfielders line top priority; Ultimately, United will win as many trophies as possible and regularly participate in the UCL, once they club rebuilds process is fully finished.

It seems like Man United has learned a lot from what happened in past seasons. Yes, and they should have acted that way, especially because of Ten Hag's several failures in recruitment which caused Man United big losses.
Manchester United have been consistently underperforming in the last few matches and after such a poor performance, they must find the reason behind this poor performance. If Manchester United can find these reasons then they must work on them so that their performance is not so bad in the next season.
It's actually quite sad to read statements related to the word "consistent", which usually refers to consistently increasing competence. However, at Man United, on the contrary, they underperformed consistently. But this is what happened and the fact is that for several seasons, Man United's performance has been quite bad. And this season too, it's been really bad, consistently missing opportunities. So, it's natural that many of us have doubts about it, even next season.
Last season Manchester United definitely performed much better than the last season which is why Manchester United got the opportunity to play in the Champions League this season but with the performance they have shown in the English Premier League in the last season, their dream of playing in the Champions League this season is over. Manchester United finished the season in a very poor position in the points table this season which is not expected from a team like them. Manchester United have enough young and experienced players but maybe the manager is not using them properly. Manchester United were rumored to change their manager this season but in the end they have put their faith in the manager once again, let's see if the manager can deliver reliable returns this season.

With Ten Hag retained, I hope that Manchester United can recover and compete fiercely again like in its era, because it has been a long wait for Manchester United to return with its famous performance in that era. It is also impossible for Manchester United to continue to decline, of course they will rise again to can compete again closely with other teams, including Manchester City, which is no longer in doubt at the moment.
Yes, Ten Hag should also have a lot of experience at Man United and really knows the characters of the players there. So he should have done it more easily and quite optimistically. Indeed, this will not be easy but Ten Hag certainly has a strategy to bring his good name back and make Man United, which incidentally has been labeled bad, become much better. So, what Ten Hag will do this season will really have an influence on Man United's results. Of course, Ten Hag must be much more skilled and precise in formulating strategies and also purchasing players. Because this could be Ten Hag's opportunity this season.

Even if they didn't win the FA Cup, Man United won't even be able to enter the Europa League next season. This is really dropped. Meanwhile, in the previous season, Man United had a position at least in the top 3 and entered the UCL in the 2022/2023 season, only they failed and entered the Europa League qualification at that time. To be honest, this season, their procedures are quite horrible and there is a lot of ridicule aimed at them. It's just that they won the FA Cup, at least this is one remedy for their downturn this season.
Manchester United has extended Erik Ten Hag's remaining contract for another year. However, the club wants to limit Ten Hag's influence, especially with regard to player transfers. The club seems to want to maximize players from the academy. What we know is that Ten Hag is able to polish Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo. These two young players were mainstays last season and contributed to winning the FA Cup title.
It seems like Man United has learned a lot from what happened in past seasons. Yes, and they should have acted that way, especially because of Ten Hag's several failures in recruitment which caused Man United big losses. And now, they are building the ruins of that happiness again. Whatever the case, yes, there was a time when Man United was really respected because of his abilities and performance at the club throughout the season. It's just that we have been waiting for it for a very long time and there have been no significant changes. So, that's why the Man United era is considered a failure.
Manchester United have been consistently underperforming in the last few matches and after such a poor performance, they must find the reason behind this poor performance. If Manchester United can find these reasons then they must work on them so that their performance is not so bad in the next season. It makes no sense for the club to keep players who are not useful for the team with excessive salaries. The Manchester United manager should move into the same role as Luis Enrique, who joined PSG and sold most of his players from the club. Those who perform and contribute to the team will be in the club's plans but those who don't perform are not needed in the club.

If the right kind of players are assembled, Erik Ten Hag will definitely do well with the lads and the club. It's okay to judge him but make sure use his first season or last season to judge him alone. He was brilliant in his first season because he had squad depth. I don't know why it hasn't been that way for them though.

Manchester United will have to invest in the defense and the defensive midfied role before any other thing else. Bad defense lead to all these golas scored a d conceded, if they're sorted out fully before the season kicks off, Manchester United will have a god backline. The name Victor Lindelof is also open to leaving Manchester United as he is being reported to be joining Jose Mourinho in the Turkish League Competition.

They will do better and Erik Ten Hag will not be sacked. If these two areas are sorted them they can now go on to another position to buy!

Maybe it will take time to recover and find his best performance and I hope Ten Hag can make Manchester United spread its wings again. Ten Hag must be able to solve the problems that occurred with Manchester United which made them play less than optimally. As you said, Ten Hag has to improve his defense, and we'll just have to wait and see what Manchester United will look like.

I knew Varane when he played for Real Madrid, and when France won the 2018 world cup. He is a good defender but unfortunately he often suffered injuries while with Manchester United. Varane also experienced significant physical decline which made it difficult for him to compete for a place in the starting XI. Moreover, the Premiere League really requires physicality and speed in the game. But I still think he is a tough defender and I also pray he will find the best place wherever he ends up in the future.
When Varane was still playing for Real Madrid, he was a mainstay player there, his position was very difficult to replace because he always performed according to the coach's expectations. Moving to Manchester United was the beginning of the downfall of his career, his name seemed to be fading due to his declining performance. Varane is still 31 years old, he must find the right club to prove that he is still capable of playing at a high level.

Manchester United may not be the right place for him, he could look for a new challenge in Serie A or the Bundesliga to rediscover his best playing form. That's what happens in football, when a player is at a club that doesn't suit his style of play, his performance will decline further. What Varane experienced is exactly the same as what Hazard experienced when he moved from Chelsea to play for Real Madrid.

Previously, Varane played for Madrid and he was one of the important pillars for Madrid in strengthening their defense so far, since being in Madrid, Varane position in the Madrid defense is irreplaceable and I think indeed his ability to defend and also stop every opponent against Madrid has been quite acknowledged, so indeed Manchester United made Varane their first transfer target to strengthen their defense,  But unfortunately Varane  injuries continue to make it difficult for him to strengthen Manchester United, but if we pay attention when he plays, of course we can see the difference in performance at Manchester United, especially in their defense which looks tougher than when Varane is absent.

It's quite natural for Varane to announce that he will leave Manchester United, I don't think it's because he is not able to compete in the Premier League, but if we pay attention to the poor management of the ten hag has injured many Manchester United players, so I think it's quite natural that it actually makes Varane's performance also decline, I think Varane decision to move to Manchester United is the wrong decision and of course he is regretting it now Ini.

One of Man United's biggest obstacles last season was weakness in their back line due to an injury crisis. It's quite unfortunate that Varane can't play and make a big contribution because he's always dealing with injuries and I think this is also the reason for Man United to let him go because it seems like Man United doesn't want to speculate on the possibility of other injuries that Varane will face.

What I see is that Man United is being realistic here because if they want to fight for the title race they must have a solid defensive line. For this reason, all they need is defenders who can play consistently and can be played whenever it is necessary.

Varane is one of the player i admire so much because of his performance on the defense line and I must say that he tried so much for Manchester United since he joined them because he was actually with the same performance he had on the real Madrid to Manchester United, actually with his effort on real Madrid I wonder why they even allowed him to leave real Madrid because he was making a huge positive impact on the club because in as much as he has been doing very well on Manchester United but we cannot compare his performance when he was still with real Madrid.

So actually considering the condition of Manchester United it will be very sad for them if Varane should miss their matches because of injury do to the fact that I see him as the best defender of Manchester United so is obvious that his absence will be a serious setback for the club but however hopefully before the season will fully start I believe he will be able to regained himself because they will be facing a very tough season than the one they just finished.

As far as I can see, Chelsea is prioritizing a striker transfer lately. Openda looks like a fresh target. What happened with Osimhen? Did they just give up on him? Or maybe they are looking for other alternatives first because of his probable high costs.  Sad

I want to know why they aren't interested in a player like Guirassy.  Huh  A wonderful season with 28 goals in the Bundesliga and he is like free - €17.5m release caluse. Just go for him already!

I have heard Dortmund is preparing to make an offer. I don't think he is just a one season wonder. Since he signed for Stuttgart he has been improving more and more.

According to the latest report, the Blues identified Openda as a new target, but for me, this is an unnecessary move. For your information, Napoli continued pricing Osimhen so high, which was not a good choice for Chelsea and because of that, the Blues lost interest in him. Napoli does not want to sell him; hence, Chelsea needs to refocus on Osimhen, who has been connected to the Blues for months.

I have never heard of Chelsea being linked to Guirassy thus far; I consider Guirassy to be a cheap and deserving striker, so I wonder why Chelsea hasn't given him top attention.

Though Dortmund is also interested in Guirassy, Chelsea can press to sign him. Based on the statistics of both, I conclude that the Blues should sign Guirassy over Openda.

Varane has been Manchester United most available defender despite his Injury, I never expected this early leaving bit it's what it's right now.
I'm wishing him all of the very best ahead and hope he wins more trophies. You know he has being Sir Alex Fergusons dream signature to partner up with Johnny Evans. It feels good to finally see Erik Ten Hag making that happen only that they're doing it for a short time.

Deal for Benjamin Sesko did not go fine, also they cannot rely on Nicholas Jackson as the lobe striker next season. Openda I know did well during the earliest stages of the Champions League Competition group stage, but after that, I had no idea, he should be fourth or fifth highest goal scorer in Bundesliga League Competition last season. Good season he had I must say.  I don't know if he'll fit in well though.

The valuation for Victor Oshime is not too much for the club Chelsea, bit they'll have to sell off players so they wouldn't be affected by financial fair play rules next season. Players like Gallagher, Madueke, Trevor Chalobah and also Romelu Lukaku all have been shortlisted to be sold out. Ian Mastseen most likely would be involved in a move to Aston Villa the way it seems right now.

They want a young player who can grow together with the squad, they're building a squad who can last for the next fifteen good years. No doubts, Serhou Guirassy is a top quality lad. Borrussia Dortmund are currently most likely to get him. He will even score more goals next season for whichever his next destination might be.

Varane made his departure known back in early May, this is just him leaving for good officially but it was already known and official because they said so and was known.

I still don't know where he is going though, because he could still play for a good club but there doesn't seem to be many great clubs chasing after him for some reason. His agent could be the main trouble, because when a player is as good as him, he should be able to find a job somewhere good, and yet there are talks about going to Mexico league and all, which makes no sense to me. Lets see where this will go, I am sure that this narrative will lead to him somewhere decent eventually, or at least I hope that it does, he deserves to play somewhere good.

Yeah there is that and besides de Ligt is a Dutch player as well so I also believe Erik ten Hag has intentions to bring him to Manchester United.  Smiley  I believe Lisandro Martinez and de Ligt would make a really great duo in the defense line. They both worked with Erik ten Hag at Ajax. Defense is the immediate area to improve for the Red Devils so this would be like a medicine for them.

Varane has announced his departure as you must have heard. He hasn't been playing like in the past anymore. He has been quite inconsistent so I believe this is the best for both sides. Filling his place with a defender like de Ligt would be perfect!

I don't if he would be a good defender for Manchester United without injuries, which has mostly affected his game since leaving Ajax for Juventus. I know this move for this player has to do with Erik Ten Hag, this is one of the defenders that partnered with Lisandro Martinez season after season.

Expectations from United are always higher than ours but they cannot perform as much as we expect them to. We haven't seen Manchester United perform as well as Aston Villa last season. Manchester United did well last season due to which they qualified for the Champions League tournament in the last season but just finished the English Premier League this season Manchester United's performance was very poor. Due to this poor performance, Manchester United did not qualify for the Champions League and they also finished in a very poor position in the English Premier League. Manchester United have faith in their current manager so hopefully this team will perform well again next season.
The only achievement that Manchester United can be proud of this season is winning the FA Cup, apart from that there is no achievement that can make Ten Hag a coach who can help Manchester United out of difficulties. Manchester United performance throughout this season has been very unstable, their defense is very fragile and their front line is also very dull.

Finishing in 8th position was never expected by the Manchester United board of directors, they wanted something better from this team. Ten Hag position is increasingly insecure after leading Manchester United to qualify for the Champions League. Next season there will be greater demands than those imposed this season. If he fails to meet the expectations of the club's board of directors, perhaps his position will be replaced by another coach.
