It is true that Arsenal has performed quite well under Arteta in the last two seasons. They succeeded in challenging Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title. Despite leading the standings for a long time, Arsenal always failed to win in the end. Like what happened last season, the Gunners were overtaken by Manchester City at the end of the season. However, even though he failed to get the Premier League trophy, Arteta has given Arsenal two trophies. They have won the Community Shield and FA Cup. Arteta has done his best for Arsenal but not for their fans. And I agree with your opinion, Arsenal does not have the winning mentality to win the Premier League trophy.
Arsenal as a whole has improved under Arteta leadership, especially in the last two seasons, Arteta squad was able to put pressure on Manchester City until the end of the season, But what is more memorable is that Arsenal was able to erase most people doubts by appearing more consistent, unlike the previous season, so that this season Arsenal is only 2 points adrift of Manchester City, Although Arsenal failed to win the trophy, I think Arteta has built the foundation of his squad very well, so next season their chances of challenging for the title are still very high.

Meanwhile, Arteta should be able to bring in quality strikers in the transfer market this summer, Jesus and Nketiah don't look so sharp, perhaps due to injury factors, if Arsenal have a sharp striker like Osimhen, I think their goal productivity next season will be even higher, as well as increasing their chances of winning trophies, but we know Osimhen seems to be getting closer to going to PSG, so Arteta needs to find another striker who is already experienced and tested, I think it was an instant way to smooth out the ambition and end the more than two decades of waiting for the title.

Truly, I believe even the premier league miss Abrahamovic; his love for football was out of this world and he has a proper understanding of how it is supposed to be as well; that’s why during reign the players, the management amongst the trophy cabinets are all top notch.

Boehly on the under hand, spends well but not efficiently or on quality players or managers; that has to change for Chelsea to succeed
Abramovich love for football cannot be doubted, especially for the club he owns, during his 19 years as club owner, Chelsea has won 19 prestigious trophies, but the consequences of the Russian and Ukrainian Wars had a big impact on Abramovich which required him to sell Chelsea. After his departure, Chelsea is now starting to lose its status as a team capable of providing competition in the race for the title.

Boehly has not been able to handle Chelsea like Abramovich did, he has spent too much money in vain because he has not had any impact on Chelsea development. Now that Enzo Maresca has officially become Chelsea new coach after Pochettino was fired, Boehly must be more patient with the coach's ability to handle the club, rash actions will have negative results for the team. Mistakes like when he fired Tuchel must not be repeated if he wants Chelsea to develop as it did when Abramovich was still the club owner.

Arsenal are not having much of a bad season, their performance in matches are valid enough to win them the Premier League trophy only that their top opponent is much more competent and only way they can outperform Manchester city is to ignite their potentials, any opportunity they have to lead the table they should enhance their game not to lose any more point because this has been their nightmare, leading the table for a long time then when it gets to the final stages of the league they will lose or share points which later puts them as the runner up meanwhile they had the whole opportunity to lead till the final match of that season. Arteta is doing a great job, I believe they have the potential to win the Premier league title even this coming season, they are among the favourites.

In my opinion, it looks like Arsenal still doesn't have something important that Man City has, that is the winning mentality. Arsenal might be able to play with confidence, toughness and has high motivation to always get victory but at the end of the season, they actually lost their consistency, where when they lost 0-2 against Aston Villa, though it was a home match for Arsenal. One defeat that ultimately made Arsenal fail to win the Premier League trophy. If Arsenal have a winning mentality, I'm pretty sure Arsenal will have the much-needed composure in that match, so there would be quite a big chance for them to turn things around.
Aston Villa team won the match by 2-0 and their players gave top class performance and they gave gift to their country in the form of win . Their country and public is more interested in Football. Watkins played very well and did an important goal at the minute of 87 in the first half and Bailey also did goal and his goal was excellent and he did at 84 minutes after starting the match. The total shots of Aston Villa were 11 and Aston Villa goalkeeper saved 4 goals and his performance was outclass and the corner kicks of Aston Villa were also more in number and that were 6 as comparison to 4 of  Arsenal. The fouls of Aston villa were 7 and fouls of Arsenal were 12 . We can see the stat of both teams and we will judge that Arsenal team played very bad.

Cole Palmer's performance was one of few bright spots for England in Friday's 1-0 loss to Iceland. The 22-year-old followed up a goalscoring full debut against Bosnia and Herzegovina with another eye-catching showing on a difficult evening at Wembley.
Source: Skysports

One thing that I was not surprised by at all was Cole Palmer being the second highest scorer in the English Premier League. He is a really great player and I think he might actually deserve a better team than Chelsea. The way he scored those goals, some of them were really good. There is a reason why people call him the Cold Palmer Cheesy. Only if Chelsea actually had a better coach and was able to perform a little better. I am pretty sure if Chelsea could have performed the way they performed towards the end of the season, they could have easily been in the top four.

But anyway, the team was unable to bring in better results from the start, and in the end, the performance of a few weeks are never going to be enough for a club to overcome the bad performance that they have put on the whole season. Let's hope that the next season is going to be better from them in the next season.

Premier League Official

I'd rather call him as a hero for the club. Chelsea might not finish at the six places without him. He is not only scoring a lot this season.

Palmer is also an excellent player. From 33 matches palmer made 22 goals and 11 assists. This player is insane consider he is still very young, cole pamer was even carrying the club . Without a doubt, Pep was dissatisfied with the choice to allow him join Chelsea.

This is also the key reason why Manchester City has denied Chelsea's request to sign Alvarez because the club worries if alvarez gonna play better once he will join in chelsea.

Palmer is not only scoring, but he is also leading the attack on Chelsea. He was a hero to the club. Chelsea may finish in 10th position without him. Chelsea needed someone like Ancelotti to properly develop their young potential and turn them into superstars.

That sads chelsea took maresca as a new coach. Im doubting maresca's capability to develop the young player.

I have really missed those good old days of Chelsea.  Sad  Since Abramovich's departure it has been like that door is closed tight. Boehly is also a very rich person and he doesn't refrain from spending a lot of money for Chelsea.

But the problem is that there is still no success. Then there is still something being missed here. Chelsea has really young and skilled players. We can resemble them to Arsenal in terms of that. But performances are far different.  Tongue

What Enzo Maresca will do with Chelsea is unknown for now. I hope he surprises me and keeps this team in at least top 4 race from the beginning to the end. This would be a start to return to those good days.

I'm no blue but I do too, we know if he was still head of Chelsea, they shouldn't have sacked Thomas Tuchel when Chelsea did and they should have also won the Premier League Competition amongst these past few years we've seen Liverpool and Manchester City dominating.
I feel like it was planned long ago so he could be forced to sell the club using the Ukraine/ Russia War. The English FA has never liked Chelsea all along, it could be because he made huge progress they didn't expect. Hate it or love, Chelsea remains the most decorated English Premier League Club in the European level .

They've never had a top quality manager all these years, I can also say that the management has been dump but it's crystal clear they're gradually learning from these failures.
They'll have a much improve performance next season. The signs are already there from what they did last season. These players are beginning to fight for themselves.

Chelsea has a good relationship with Italians from the past, Enzo Maresca isn't the first and will not be the last one of them. He is a top young manager, all I wish is for freedom to be given to him. He's got this!

Chelsea resurgence began when Abramovich came and now Abramovich's departure of course makes Chelsea return to a team that seems to have lost its championship ambitions, Chelsea  now fully owns by todd boehly of course starting to try to restore Chelsea glory, but indeed so far we  not seen success achieved even though he has invested a lot of money, I think there is a big difference in work  and also every decision taken by Abramovich and Todd Boehly are currently so it greatly affects Chelsea performance, when Abramovich came to Chelsea, His still retained the old coach and also the senior players so that indeed the club remained stable even though it brought in some new players, while Todd Boehly immediately fired their old coach Tuchel and also threw away some experienced senior players, So that the Chelsea squad only contains young players who do not have a champion mentality at all.

What Todd Boehly doing Is actually very good but relying on all the young players in their squad, will only make the team able to Compete at the top level but not as champions, Todd Boehly should be able to see how Arsenal previously contained young players who were only able to competete the big four team of the Wenger era, but now Arteta is starting to combine young and senior players in their squad so that in the end Arsenal can become a title contender team in two last season, I think it will be difficult to see Chelsea rise if there are no changes happening to Chelsea next season, Besides that, if Todd Boehly continues to interfere with the transfer policy so far then it will be difficult for Chelsea to develop and that is what Pochettino has Complained about all this time when he was still coaching Chelsea.

The change in club ownership meant that Chelsea had to start over from zero in building the team to a higher level. The difference in mindset between Abramovich and Todd Boehly had a different impact on Chelsea. Abramovich succeeded in transforming Chelsea from a mid table team to a team capable of winning the title in a very short time. He tried to build Chelsea slowly depending on the team's needs, while Todd Boehly was too ambitious and too lavish in spending money to bring in the players he wanted.

The Chelsea squad in the Boehly era seemed to have no leader, now the average age of Chelsea players is under 25 years, while Abramovich prefers to retain senior players such as John Terry and Frank Lampard to lead the newly brought in players. Enzo Maresca also needs time to reorganize the Chelsea squad, just like Arteta did when he started working as Arsenal coach. Coaches cannot make big changes all at once because there are things that need to be organized and planned to get the desired results.

Many have reported that Todd Boehly was different from Roman Abramovich when he was Chelsea's owner. Todd Boehly was indeed very brave to spend money on buying players but unfortunately, he did not try to retain Thomas Tuchel to develop this team and chose Graham Potter which actually put Chelsea in a worse condition, and Potter's replacement was also not given more time to be able to change this team improved.
It seems that there is a belief that Enzo Maresca can improve Chelsea, but isn't that what was also seen when they appointed Pochettino?, but look at the results, Boehly replaced him at the end of the season, even though it seems that there has been progressed at Chelsea, and that cannot be denied because one of their players experienced very good development there is Cole Palmer's, and this player looks very suited to the game scheme set by Pochettino and hopefully the change of manager will not affect Palmer in the future because sometimes that can happen.

I'm curious about Chelsea's moves in the summer transfer window from now on. They have spent a billion euros in last two years but still couldn't get what they wanted. I hope to see them being more careful in this window.

It seems like they want to sign a striker these days despite Nkunku's return. However I understand them at the same time. Because Nkunku has been a quite injury-prone player recently. Apart from that Nkunku's main position isn't centre-forward already. He is mainly an attacking midfielder but can play as left winger and striker as well. Jackson makes mistakes but he is still young though. They can just go for an experienced striker or a young striker such as Osimhen who is more credible with finishing skills.  Smiley

That intriguing thing to know what they can do or how they are going to act, we hear a lot about how they can put the team back together, maybe they want Oshimen, I don't know what those negotiations are like, because it seems that PSG also want him, even though this striker sounds a lot more, well it seems to me that he lacks the explosiveness of a striker like him for Chelsea, as you say, they have already spent a lot of money in the previous two seasons and nothing has given good results, I think that a change of coach would also be good, because the truth is that this team is stopping winning many important competitions.
Maybe they will spend more again this season, but not betting on the price of players but more on the quantity of players they can buy and utilize and then look for the waste that will be in the team strater and the coach will be very difficult because the team they build is too many players and waste money again.

Regarding Nkunku is very doubtful but Chelsea seems to hope that Nkunku can give a very good performance, regarding Osimhen I think PSG has the potential to win it considering the popularity and salary offered will be the main attraction here.

What I want is for things to improve in this team The truth is that it hurts me because it is a team that has always shined on its own and has played very beautiful football. The fact that this team has not been able to get good results makes me sad. I have many friends who are fans of this team and right now they are very calm. I defend that whatever decisions they make, whether it is signing players or looking for a coach, they can do a great job and take this team forward I think that all of Europe needs this team to shine at a high level.

Chelsea FC Transfer Talk: Michael Olise, Ivan Toney

Quote
Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is going to be one of the hottest commodities of all this summer transfer window, and he’s on the radar of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool; among others. He has a £100,000-a-week salary, with four years left on his current deal, so that release clause is going to be a hefty sum.

Reportedly, the bidding starts at about £60 million, which is a 50% markup from last summer, when Chelsea were ready to pay a fee of close to £40 million.

I also miss the Abramovich era, even though he was known for being tough in firing coaches if they didn't perform well, in his era Chelsea became a strong team by producing dangerous strikers in the opponent's penalty box. In the Boehly era, finances were also good and they succeeded in building a young and talented squad, it just took time and a coach who had potential. By bringing in coach Enzo Maresca, I think next season Chelsea will be better and we will see Chelsea like the Abramovich era again.

Indeed he is a new coach but tactically he is very smart. Now it's just a matter of how the club management (Boehly) provides the budget to buy players who suit the playing pattern desired by the coach. Because Enzo Maresca is Pep Guardiola's student, it is certain that their game will be the same, namely by playing with possession of the ball and building attacks from behind.

Chelsea could be said to be very lucky to be coached by Enzo Maresca. because Enzo Maresca and I are confident that we can make Chelsea become a competitor for the EPL league next season, at least we can enter the top four zone with the young and potential players that Chelsea currently has.

Indeed, recently, rumors regarding Chelsea eyes on Alvarez have been quite high too. In fact, it is rumored that Chelsea is competing with several other clubs who want the player with a value of £80 million. Yes, Chelsea really has to compete with several big clubs who are also considered to be interested in this striker, because his performance and potential are very good. Like: PSG, Atletico Madrid, and there are also rumors regarding Bayern Munich.
Alvarez would be nice for Chelsea a hundred percent. For Paris Saint Germany? No, No! To Atletico Madrid? That would be nice but he needs a club who can win him trophies.
However, it turns out that the latest news is that Alvarez will remain at Man City this season. Indeed, rumors state that he wants to move and many clubs also want him. However, Man City have stated that they will not sell Alvarez this season. And Alvarez has also dismissed rumors that he is leaving Man City. He is comfortable at the Etihad and still wants to stay at Man City at least this season. So, it looks like Chelsea's hopes will be dashed by this statement and they will have to look at other players as the most appropriate alternative.

Meanwhile, at Chelsea itself, there are several players who are rumored to be leaving Cheslea next season. Yes, it looks like Mareska has to start thinking hard about how much money she might sell in the next transfer market. Like Armando Broja, their striker who has so far been loaned to Fulham. He was open when asked and could leave Chelsea for a bigger career for himself to develop his career and performance too.

On the other hand, their defender, Levi Colwill, is also rumored to be leaving Chelsea and most likely he will go to Baern Munich. So, this week Mareska has to make the best decisions for several players who might stay or leave Chelsea. And he also has quite a lot of homework to get the best players to improve Chelsea's performance this season.

We still have to wait if we still expect Chelsea to return to the good times where they are always a Champions League subscription.

The change of leadership made everything complicated for Chelsea and indeed it happens until now because the effect seems to still have to happen where there must be adjustments again and again between the wishes of the new owner and Chelsea's performance.
Although this season we can see changes that are indeed a little better for Chelsea than the previous season but indeed this is clearly still very lacking because after all with their performance like this it is certain they will still be very difficult to penetrate the higher zone.

This season they will again experience a transition where the new coach will definitely make some changes for Chelsea, hopefully the performance will be better with the new coach next season which has not been confirmed who will serve as coach.

No matter how good Arsenal are as long as Manchester City remains strong then they will definitely be very difficult to make a breakthrough even to become champions. Speaking of appropriateness, in the last 2 seasons Arsenal's performance deserves to be praised because it can be said that in the last 2 seasons this is the best achievement for Arteta while coaching Arsenal, it's just that in terms of clear trophies it is still very difficult to happen.

Pep with his carrier who really knows what to do at Manchester City makes it difficult for Arsenal to win trophies and make a difference in the ongoing season. This season, big hopes clearly rest back on Arsenal because they see several other clubs that are experiencing problems, especially for next season Liverpool also I am quite doubtful with Slott who is just starting his first season in the EPL and some problems for the players that have not been resolved, so indeed this is a little complicated to force Liverpool.
Not that I doubt Slott but I still feel that for the first season Slott still needs adjustment and this could be an advantage for Manchester City because their rivals are a little less.
From there, perhaps we can predict that Manchester City will most likely make new history in the Premier League by winning 5 titles in 5 consecutive seasons. No team has been able to win 4 titles in 4 consecutive seasons and Manchester City has done it, but does anyone want to see Manchester City do it again next season?

The big hope is with Arsenal. Of course, due to the improvement in the team's performance in the last two seasons, Arsenal hopes to be able to break the chain of dominance of Manchester City as winners of the Premier League title. It is very difficult of course, but there is hope from Arsenal if Arteta really learns from his failure in two consecutive seasons. Arsenal lost in the last quarter of the Premier League, which means they have to improve their performance towards the end of the season.

Maybe and hopefully.  Grin  Arsenal have been getting close to the Premier League title for two seasons but still there isn't a happy ending. Indeed, they totally deserve it especially after the performance they had this season.

I do not think that winning mentality comes suddenly, I mean sure City may have it because they won so many and that's a great achievement, but they weren't winning when they started, like when Pep took over they weren't as good as they are today, which means that you go from not having it to having it gradually.

I believe that Arsenal may or may not have it, but even if they do not have it then that doesn't mean that they can't get it, they could just try their best and get one title and keep doing that later on. The problem is that when you haven't won a league title for so long, even longer than some of the players' age, then stress and nervous and anxious players make you lose games you should have won, that causes the issue, if they win just even one league, it will become easier.

Arsenal shall at least try to bring a quality striker to the club. Nketiah and gabriel are flops now at this moment. This club been linked to the osimhen but it was fake rumor. Arteta has not yet made a move to get a new striker.
Let's wait till mid of summer transfer season.

Last season they did the same thing but indeed Kai also followed and could not develop well at Arsenal even though he was bought with a nominal amount that was not small but indeed Kai's performance was still lacking and needed longer adaptation.
The defense and midfield that Arsenal have this season are still quite good, it's just that sometimes their finishing and attacking lines are erratic because in one match they are sometimes quite good but in other conditions they really can't be expected.

Looking for new alternatives is quite reasonable but they as much as possible have to sell some of their attacking players in order to make their financial stability still maintained especially if you look at their transfer history in the last few seasons they are actually one of the most wasteful clubs in the EPL even though they currently have an improvement in terms of performance but that's all they can get no more because in the competition for trophies they always fail.
