Donny van de Beek must be one of the biggest regrets for Manchester United by the way. Because they signed him for 39 million euros in 2020 but they sold him this month for only 500 thousand euros...  Sad

What a crazy price!!!. Manchester United is slowly copying Barcelona. They buy a player at a silly price, then sell him for pennies. It also saddens me how Ten Hag has ruined Van de Beek's career in Manchester United. It's also disappointed me how Ten Hag could not turn him around.

I thought he was a good buy at the time. Then, I spent two years expecting him to finally kick off at Manchester United. After that, I was surprised for two years. It was every time I read something about his existence at the club. It's bad to see how Van de Beek ended his career at United in such a dramatic way like this.

But, it's not that bad considering he is now moving to Girona. And five hundred thousand euros is a bargain price for Girona. In the end, this shows how Donny is simply not Manchester United quality.

Arsenal proved that they will be strong candidates to compete for the premier league title next season if the performance shown by arsenal is really stable in the pre-season matches they are currently playing, and it is not impossible that arteta will present a trophy next season.
Arsenal are favorites after Manchester City. It have never been an easy road for Mikel Arteta, coming directly from Pep Guardiola staffs and doing the ultimate job by handling Arsenal, today they're included in the top rankings of the current seasons in English Premier League.  Arsenal have everything to win the English Premier League next season but what's stopping them is Manchester City. Gunners put in effort in previous matches but fail to beat Pep Guardiola and the Citizens to the full game.

I think this is exactly what people need to know about Arsenal failure every season, but it is not a enough reason, but to me, I can also include it if I want to mention a reason that stops Arsenal from getting the EPL title. Manchester City are one of the obstacles that, up until now, Arsenal are still finding a big deal to overcome, and seriously, Manchester City are very strong and also the best team in the EPL right now.

If not, Arsenal have the full squad to get the title, but winning luck is not always coming their way, especially when they meet with Manchester City. I hope to see Arsenal win the EPL title one day, though I think that is our main aim now as fans. We need it.

It is impossible to dominate the English Premier league if a club does not have hills amount of money. That’s the first thing a club needs to have. Because with Money, a squad can be built and a good coach can be brought in. And all the other things can also be handled. But just having a good coach is not enough especially in the English Premier league right now.

The next season should be more competitive compared to the last. I hope Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham all of them will be able to compete for the title. I wish Chelsea actually did not change the coach towards the end of the last season. Because Chelsea was bringing in good results Towards the end. I also hope that Arsenal will be able to be consistent towards the end as well.
Most of the time that's true, but we need to remember Leicester as well, it is not a "must". If you are in premier league, the "hills amount of money" is not really unlikely, you are getting paid tens of millions of dollars just to be in that league, nothing more, and with parachute payments and all that, a team could build their club quite strong over course of time as well, just need to learn to spend that money wisely.

I mean I take a look at some of these teams, and I see them not spending their money wisely at all, and some of them earned a lot of money whereas did not spend it, I have no clue where that money went to, if a team made 70 million on transfer selling and only used 15 million to buy, you wonder what happened the rest of it. In the end, I think it is quite obvious that any team could win premier league, it all depends on building a club for that reason, most clubs just want to exist, they do not want that risk, because if you go for it, then you are going to grow bigger than a normal owner could afford, and may even have to sell some parts of the shares, which not a lot of people accept. You see City and Liverpool and Arsenal, but they are basically sold in pieces to become that good.

Our team has been built under Mikel Arteta to face a lot of challenges, and Manchester City became the great obstacle for us after we have developed a well competitive squad that has defeated almost all the Premier League top teams with exception of Manchester City, but last season, we are able to defeat Manchester City at home and take a point against them at Etihad stadium which is a good sign that we are well ready for the title challenge.

Arsenal should have won the Premier League title last season, but little mistake cost us the league which gave an experienced Manchester City chance over us to win the title with just two points ahead of us Arsenal.

Next coming season is another season to watch out, we are going to defeat almost all teams because we will be all prepared for the title and will try to correct all the mistakes we made last season because it is time to win titles for a well built squad. Nevertheless, we need a reliable striker to be able to achieve all these.

Arteta does not want to waste the opportunity he has because Arsenal know that friendly matches like this must be maximized as well as possible to find talents that can be used for their performance next season.
Pre-season matches give young players the opportunity the opportunity to show their talents, so I don’t really take pre-season matches seriously, and most coaches do make use of young players just to see their performance and to know which ones might be useful when the season starts. And some coaches do use pre-season matches to try different strategies and see which one’s better, so pre-season matches are not something to be taken serious, and that’s why most people don’t really care about them.

I don’t really enjoy pre-season matches, and I don’t really give it much attention, I can’t just wait for the season to start, just to see how each player will be performing. Everyone will be making use of their main squad, and I'm sure it’s going to be another competitive season.

Antony being bought for 80+ million was the shocking part, like who thought that would be a good idea? Anyone who watched him play, even on his ajax years, would know that dude is just a clown and that is why he didn't look like he was a serious player who can do fine at premier league.

I can agree on one thing there, signing him for 95 million euros was nonsense. That was showing clearly how incapable the previous owners were with managing the budget.  Sad

As for Antony's performance at Ajax, I wouldn't completely agree honestly. There were really time periods he showed impressive performances. I thought Erik ten Hag would handle him nicely at Manchester United too but it didn't happen.

Quote
Now, they can't sell him for 50, they can't even sell him for half of what they paid for him, what are they going to do? Even if they loan him out, and get some other team pay his salary, that still doesn't change the fact that they lost 85+ on him, and that means that INEOS taking over is a blessing for them, at least they are not making stupid moves like that anymore and fixing the situation.

He is valued only €25m in the market now which is quite fair after having a terrible time at Manchester United. They should get rid of him immediately. He makes £10.4m a year which is like a joke.  Tongue

The English Premier League comes with stress and a whole lot of competitive race and pressure. However the strong ones still made it out alive without been relegated and this is one of the prospective aspect of the top game. The management of the Citizens have been quite formidable and winning becomes priority for them. Manchester City is elite club and have proven their dominance against their oppositions, it’s been really a smooth season for the Citizens.
It is very difficult to dominate the EPL for more than two seasons because the competition is very competitive, several strong teams are always competitors in the title race because they also want the title at the end of the season. Manchester City is the first club to be able to dominate the EPL for more than three seasons. This success certainly cannot be achieved without the club management having to work hard. Guardiola presence really helps Manchester City dominate the EPL, but they also need to bring in quality players to maintain their lead.

This season it is estimated that the competition will become more competitive, Chelsea and Manchester United, who have appeared inconsistent, are starting to build their squads, while Arsenal and Liverpool will try to make Manchester City lose points when facing them. It will be very interesting to see the EPL competition this season because there will be tighter competition than before.

It is impossible to dominate the English Premier league if a club does not have hills amount of money. That’s the first thing a club needs to have. A friendly match between Arsenal and Bournemouth ended with a final result of 5-4 (penalty). Arsenal used many of its young talents as the starting lineup in this game. Some academic players were also balling crazy against Bournemouth. I pay attention to some players who ran the show in this game.

Ode played very well in this game, and he looks several levels above everyone on the field. And again, Nwaneri had a good performance. He was a young player, but he looked very smart and ready to play with the senior players.

There is so much exciting stuff in this game. Though Arsenal won through penalties. But, it shows how Arsenal has so many great young talents, and they've all progressed. I don't mind the result as this is only a pre-season match. I'm feeling optimistic if Arsenal can enter the title race again in the upcoming season.
Arteta does not want to waste the opportunity he has because Arsenal know that friendly matches like this must be maximized as well as possible to find talents that can be used for their performance next season.

We can see some of Arsenal's young players left to have flying hours as their mental strengthening because Arteta knows that the final result is not the result that is desired, but the maturity of young players in terms of mental and flying hours is clearly a good goal for Arteta in today's match.

Fabio Vieira, Heinz and Oulad M'Hand are quite good in terms of performance in this match I think even though the score is only 1-1 but in terms of the game for young players who are still lacking in flying hours I think Arsenal's performance is quite good in today's match.

I am intrigued by the performance the Arsenal guys put out there. They have shown their readiness this season for using their second 11 today. The performance of the squad was fairly penetrating and it showed a strong squad depth. I also liked their level of composure in managing the opponents to the end.

This is what we're talking about Arteta, he was good enough to test the second 11 comfortably and watch over their individual player performances. I will also encourage him to practice this more often to be able to pick stronger players that can substitute the first eleven players in bigger matches.

Thus, it seems like it would be better for Manchester United not to involve Erik ten Hag in plans to buy and sell players in this transfer market. Because after all, if Erik ten Hag is still fully involved in choosing the players who are bought and sold, then I think mistakes will still occur which will certainly be detrimental to the team.

The manager should always be involved with buying and selling of players as he's the only one that knows the players he can get the best out of them in the season and those that are not going to be useful to him. Giving managers your own players will not make it possible for him to be capable of coaching the team very well. The manager will always have players that he believes he can work with very well as they'll be listening to him and oykay for him therefore those are the players that he should be using to play almost every game and get the best result for the team. The board should allow the manager and not get involved.

How could a manager not be involved in the transfer window? while the one who makes the strategy and determines the squad is the manager himself. I think it even would be better if the Manager was given complete authority to buy or sell players rather than the boards getting involved in this matter because it will give the Manager much greater leeway in building his squad and he can express more optimally because of it.

I think arsenal showed a good performance by fielding their second line in their first pre-season match. and yes arsenal proved that their young players are very good at playing their roles on the field. even though they could only score one goal this was a good start for arsenal in their first match, arsenal has young talents who will shine someday if trained well,

Arsenal were forced to win on penalties, Honestly this is really surprising. I even thought Arsenal could win easily with normal time because Arsenal is a great team and is predicted to be a tough competitor for Man City this season. Indeed, the pre-season match is an unimportant match and Arsenal also plays many young players but the pre-season match will also have an impact when the league runs later at least with their mentality because we know Arsenal's current weakness is only in mentality. I hope Arteta can fix this problem especially the mentality of the players.

But on the other hand in this pre-season match we can also see Arsenal has potential young players. I don't think Arsenal needs to invest in bringing in a new goalkeeper, Just give this talented young goalkeeper a few minutes of play, he will be a great goalkeeper someday. Overall Arsenal played well but there are only a few things that Arteta needs to pay attention to besides the team's mentality, Arsenal's front line must also be smart in utilizing opportunities as efficiently as possible.

Arne slot is just a coach who has experience in the domestic league and even from his coaching history I don't see that he has experience coaching teams that play in the European league or champions league so far, to be honest for now maybe Arne slot will continue where Klopp left off at Liverpool including maintaining last season's main line up for next season, but I don't think this will guarantee that he can take Liverpool in a better direction in the future, Liverpool has quite good squad depth and is filled with many star players, but whether they are capable or not Competing next season still cannot be separated from Arne Slot's current strategy and experience, even though Klopp supports him and says that Liverpool are currently in good hands after he stepped down, but I think this is just lip service, because we have also heard Ferguson say this before when he decided to resign and said that his replacement at that time was the right coach for Manchester, but in fact Manchester United is getting worse like it is now.
At least give him the opportunity and time to build a squad and do his job before being judged.
Arne Slot is certainly not an experienced coach compared to Jurgen Klopp, but Arne Slot has been appointed as Liverpool's new coach who should have full support and trust from his fans. The competition for the title in the 2024-2025 season is certainly very difficult to hope for, but it is not impossible to get Liverpool into the Champions League zone.

Pep Guardiola may only have Arteta as his strongest competitor in the title race, but I try to remain optimistic that other coaches like Ten Hag, Ange Postecoglou, Unai Emery, Eddie Howe and others will give their best. Manchester City is not expected to defend its 5th title in 5 consecutive seasons, so every team in the Premier League is likely to fail it.

Even though Manchester City managed to win consecutive trophies, but many still consider the Premier League to be the most competitive league. Because usually when only one team is able to win a trophy for at least three consecutive seasons, the league is said to be a farmers' league. But in reality, the Premier League is still very interesting to look forward to, even though in reality Manchester City still has high dominance.

There is no doubt about that, but they should not be overconfident, from what I have seen Liverpool and Arsenal are strengthening themselves very well, I am very curious about how they will perform, for me the PL is still the strongest league, of course Spanish football has a lot of power, and they have been demonstrating that, even in competitions that are for countries like the EuroCup, of course now City is one of the teams that wants to take everything, the PL and the UCL.

City for European or Saudi Arabian clubs – New contract signing already stalled

Quote

Manchester City’s number one choice goalkeeper Ederson does hold a desire to leave the club this summer, and has pushed back on an opportunity to renew his contract.

Despite reporting for pre-season training at the City Football Academy last week, and travelling with the first-team squad to the United States for their tour of the country’s east coast as planned, Ederson’s future at the Etihad Stadium continues to be held in doubt.

A number of clubs from within the Saudi Pro League continue to hold interest in Ederson, with Al-Ittihad the latest poised to test Manchester City’s resolve over a £50 million asking price, following on from Al-Nassr’s withdrawal of interest.

Well, it seems like Erik ten Hag really doesn't have a good choice when it about to buying and selling players because after all, Donny van de Beek also came from Ajax before and it's possible that Erik ten Hag brought him too at that time. But in reality, Donny van de Beek was also a loan player until he was actually sold at this moment to Girona after previously Donny van de Beek was loaned to Everton and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Erik Ten Hag has got good eyesight for players. And for your information, Donny Van Dee Beek wasn't brought into Manchester United by Erik Ten Hag. He was brought in during the time of Ole Gunner Solskjaer. Even when Erik Ten Hag came in as manager of Manchester United, his statement was that, he didn't come to meet Donny Van Dee Beek the same way he was before he left Ajax for Manchester United.

Donny was loaned to Everton? I never heard shii bout that though. I'm aware he wanted a move to Frankfurt but, what I don't know is if the loan deal happened as I didn't take note.

Manchester United never had a good sporting directors and team, now they do and even before they make a move completely for a player, they also consult Erik Ten Hag because he'll be the one managing these players. He is not directly involved you see, but he needs to be updated on in's and outings. He wants to play a possession base style of football and also proactive football when off the ball.

You'll obviously need players confident on the ball and who has technique. I'm already tired of explaining shiit lol. Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan Bisakka and a couple few players do not fit in, they need to leave.

The first pre-season match is currently not giving good results for the big English league teams, previously Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea got bad results from their opponents, but yesterday we also saw that Arsenal also experienced the same thing cause getting a draw from the weaker team, but what surprised me in this match was the penalty kick to determine who won at the end of the match, so far I have not seen any pre-season friendly matches that apply penalties when the two teams draw in their match, are penalties really needed in the friendly matches?
Friendly matches are just matches to test the mentality from of young players a teams, so it is quite natural that Arsenal and other big teams field the majority of their young squads in friendly matches so far, apart from that, friendly matches are also an opportunity for coaches to select young players who deserves to be in the main team next season, so now is an opportunity for young players to show their best performance and play.

Friendly matches worth watching this Sunday:

From now on, this team will really need to be more careful with their signings. Like I said, for now INEOS is doing a good job. Ugarte was on their radar but still not progress as far as I can see. PSG is about to make Joao Neves deal official soon. I think it should be easier to agree with PSG on Ugarte signing after that but let's see. I'm curious who else is going to leave the Red Devils this summer too. There are candidates but no action yet.

In my opinion, Arne Slot will find it tough to reach Klopp's level with Liverpool; I believe Klopp claimed that Slot was the best manager to succeed with when he resigned. Well, I don't believe Arne Slot has the experience to be successful with Liverpool in his first season. I'm confident that he will take Liverpool to the next level, but they have to give him enough time to develop the team. Slot's former club's achievement is that he helped the club finish second in the league, he lacked experience competing in the Champions League, he was unable to maintain Feyenoord's position in the last Champions League, they were eliminated in the group stage, and even in the Europa League, they were eliminated by Roma in the semifinals, so Liverpool management must be patient with him because next season will be very challenging.

On the other hand, Manchester United has not had the best manager since Ferguson departure, all of the managers who have taken over the club lack the experience to bring back the club to its former success.

Anyone who watched him play, even on his ajax years, would know that dude is just a clown and that is why he didn't look like he was a serious player who can do fine at premier league. There are few Brazilians who did fine in premier league, but usually they don't, the reason is that premier league is tough and rough, whereas Brazilians are usually just talent and skill based, not grind and roughness.

So when Antony joined, he expected the famous "nearly no defense" Dutch football, but at premier league people literally tackle right to your leg, so when that happened, he realized he was nothing there. United should have seen this coming, it was obvious from a mile away, and yet they didn't.

I will not blame Antony because the most guilty of all this is who brought Antony to Man United. Well you yourself know the biggest mistake that Man United made was to trust someone who kept bringing players from Ajax or players who had played in the Dutch League to gather in the Premier League. I do not oppose the action but it is unethical if the priority is always to make a bad contribution on the field. Now Ineos is in control and hopes that there will be no bad recruitment for next season. Sir Jim also began to overhaul Man United's staff little by little because he felt too bored seeing the management of this club that did not bring positive points.
