Everything will not work when talking about instant because this is not an easy thing when managing a big club with all the pressure in it but that doesn't mean we can judge Slot as someone who failed even before he made a contribution because the season hasn't started yet.

Of course it's a friendly match before the season starts, but the coach will try to do his best while finding a good strategy for his team ahead of the season starting. There are 4 friendlies match, 3 in the US and 1 more at Anfield against Sevilla.

I would recommend a credible striker to Arsenal as well. Gabriel Jesus and Nketiah are both useless. Havertz isn't naturally a striker too.

So why does Erik Ten Hag always force himself to collect players he has managed before? In my opinion, if he continues like that it will show more of his weaknesses as a coach. Because we can see that some of the players he brought in couldn't show anything good, one of them is Antony. He plays aimlessly, and he often does things he doesn't need to do. There are many moments that show he is just wasting time showing something that is not important.

If Manchester United decide to sell Antony, I believe only Ajax wants him, because Manchester United don't want to sell him at cheap price and only Ajax know how good was Antony. Other teams will not want to spend too much for Antony, he's failed in Manchester United, so it was a warning sign to other teams before sign him.

But it's not really wise to sell Antony now, if Manchester United want to release him, they should find other player to replace his position since they didn't have many players.

We do not expect immediate glory when Arne Slot is chosen as Liverpool's head coach. Arne Slot is not worthy of being called Jurgen Klopp's replacement because the word replacement indicates that he must be able to continue the achievements that Klopp has made in the previous season in his first season.
We only hope that Arne Slot can build good team cohesion without any conflict between him and the players or between players. Slot's presence at Anfield can be a coach and a father figure for the players.

Just to chip in, Jurim Timber could be a good backup option for Saliba you don't think so? Well said with the likes of Saliba and Gabriel. I think they had one of the best combination which lead to having the best defense in the Premier League Competition next season. More of the lackings and limitations they had, didn't come frommtye defense but it's a good thing to see that they've got the Injured returning and the name Jurim Timber excites me a whole lot.

Calafiori and Gabriel are almost same style of play and Calafiori is a player with good quality , I'd say he is a good backup option for Gabriel this season.
The likes of Zinchenko and Tomiyasu needs to keep fit, but great season ahead for them. I do feel like, they're more close to winning the Premier League Competition this season than anyone.


Nothing has been said about a possible transfer sale for Antony so far so good. What I see is that he'll be a backup player for Amad Diallo who should be having a better first full season for Manchester United and with Manchester United. Antony could bounce back up, but he needs to get his head into the game. Why not go back to the basics of football rather than make unnecessary dribbles? If you go back to his second game against Chelsea last season, he did pretty well.

I do not see him leaving Manchester United for now. Erik Ten Hag still feels he has something more to do for the club.

I fully like your opinion. I also think the same that Arsenal would make use of a better striker. Havertz is talented but not that much as a striker. Playing as AM or RW would be much better for him. He isn't a reliable finisher but could make a good distribution of passes.  

Gyökeres was their target some time ago. What happened with that?    I think he is one of the strikers worth to sign. He has turned into a goal machine and he isn't a selfish player either (43 goals, 15 assists in 50 games last season). The problem is they say Sporting wants his release clause to be bough out which is 100 million euros... I'm curious what Arsenal thinks about that.

Manchester City has become a very consistent team in the last few seasons but if we look at their performance before then we don't see much significant achievement for them. But now we must admit that Manchester City is one of the top 5 teams in Europe.

Manchester City has performed brilliantly in the English Premier League in the last few seasons and they are better than other teams in both the Premier League and Champions League competitions. Last season they beat Real Madrid in the Champions League and eventually they won the Champions League title but in the last season of the Champions League they ended their Champions League journey by losing to Real Madrid. Although their results in the Champions League last season were not good, they are definitely looking forward to something better next season and they can definitely do better. If Manchester City leave some of their key players at the club then they must sign new contracts to replace those players so that there is no weakness anywhere in the team.

A friendly match between Arsenal and Bournemouth ended with a final result of 5-4 (penalty). Arsenal used many of its young talents as the starting lineup in this game. Some academic players were also balling crazy against Bournemouth. I pay attention to some players who ran the show in this game.

Ode played very well in this game, and he looks several levels above everyone on the field. And again, Nwaneri had a good performance. He was a young player, but he looked very smart and ready to play with the senior players.

There is so much exciting stuff in this game. Though Arsenal won through penalties. But, it shows how Arsenal has so many great young talents, and they've all progressed. One of the interesting points in the English Premier League is the tight competition until the end of the season. This is what makes world-class players really want to test their careers in England.
Until now or even in the next few seasons, the English Premier League will be very competitive where the bottom team can beat the favorite team to win. There is no really easy competition between each team here, so in the last few seasons we have seen how teams that should have been relegated can still survive.

Even though Arsenal seems to have minimal player spending activity and is still calm in the transfer market this summer, Arteta has confirmed that the Gunners will soon recruit new players.
