I'm very surprised that Liverpool is yet to sign a new player at this time of the summer. After Jurgen Klopp left the club, I expect the new manager to sign few new players that'll probably suit his style of football but since he's yet to sign any
At the moment I have not heard any rumors regarding the players Arne Slot will recruit for Liverpool in this transfer market. But I think it is impossible if Arne Slot doesn't make any player purchases in his first season. Slot has tactics and vision of the game that may be slightly different from Klopp's. And of course it usually benefits a new coach to get some players in his first season. Liverpool are not in bad financial shape although they are not a rich club. So I'm sure that in the remaining transfer period they will also buy several players.
We do not hear about the transfer that is happening to Liverpool at the moment even though they are linked with many players, at this time maybe Liverpool is still trying to monitor the players they will recruit and in order to be able to compete in the English League championship next season, Liverpool of course It will not be careless in buying players, Liverpool's movement in the transfer market is indeed not very highlighted by the media but I think they currently definitely have several names that they will recruit, Arne Slot seems to be very selective in choosing players to recruit to really suit the needs of their team next season, there is still a lot of time left in the transfer market allows for Arne Slot to be able to monitor more good and talented players which will indeed be in accordance with his game scheme next season.

I guess now Slot can think that with the team that he doesn't need any changes or a new player, it's that it's difficult because finding a team where most of them are very good, it's hard to make changes, because first you have to work with what you have, and the current players are very good and that's what should be considered, I don't know where Liverpool's weaknesses could be, their attack is good, so they don't need a striker, their midfield and defense too, I think that after playing some friendly matches the coach has to realize what the vulnerabilities are.

It is indeed hard to find any such area in a successful and scoring team like Liverpool. Coaches will often have their players evaluated in scrimmages or other contests, taking measure of potential weaknesses that might not be so glaring as others.

That being said, while Liverpool front three is packed with firepower and it has quality in midfield as well when coached to be efficient its backline might even leave space for some nuances of gameplay or tactical adjustments or sufficient squad depth on certain positions through the year. This "winning" team must in a state of constant equilibrium- evaluation and adaptation - to keep the good parts stronger, making sure that their weaknesses are at least turned into neutral play or deployed like tactical time bombs.

Well on the way that even though they look strong together, there are still development and planning until eternity.

I don't know why Chelsea management sacked coach Pochettino. We have seen a series of good performances from Chelsea in the last matches of the season. And from this it can be assumed that coach Pochettino was able to stabilize this team. Pochettino was then sacked by the Chelsea management.
I was one of those that openly criticised Pochettino because I felt he wasn't doing a great job. His team should have been playing better than they were playing. Even when they did well in some games, they were inconsistent most times. Firing Pochettino was not such a bad decision. He might have built a good team with time, but I doubt he'll be able to win the league.
The decision Chelsea made in hiring their next manager is something that only time will tell, but I don't think he's good enough to give them the result that they desire. Enzo Maresca seems like a good coach, but I doubt he's going to be a coach to start delivering results immediately and if he's not going to deliver immediately, there was no point in firing Pochettino that was already getting rhythm with his team.

Pochettino has struggled with injuries to key Chelsea players for much of the season, But his people management and tactical skills were proven through the team's strong end-of-season finish. And a late revival cannot save Pochettino's hot seat. Despite finishing in sixth place.

The main reason I repeat belongs entirely to Chelsea's leadership. The policy of signing younger players led to complications in adapting the team to different tactics and styles of play. Recruiting inexperienced players who are not suitable for their roles in the team. If the management board had given Pochettino the responsibility of recruiting players, things would have been different. Pochettino will understand better than anyone else what players the team needs and what players are in surplus. The balance of players in each position on the team is important. I see that the Chelsea Board of Directors also has the same thoughts as the PSG Board of Directors. They keep spending money to bring in a series of good players, but they don't know what role this player plays in the team.

However, Chelsea management has appointed a new coach. And spending a lot of money to strengthen their squad. But I would say the Chelsea management should give the coach enough time and opportunities. The Chelsea management is living in a fool's paradise if they expect good performances from Chelsea so quickly. The situation of the Chelsea team is very shaky. This group definitely needs time to improve.
Perhaps the most realistic reason is that Pochettino was unable to make Chelsea perform better than Management expected, he also failed to bring Chelsea to finish in the top four or the European Zone. In my opinion, Chelsea management should not rush into making a decision, they should give Pochettino at least one more season to prove his abilities.
Now that Chelsea will start a new season with a new coach and several new players brought in, management's hopes remain the same as when they appointed Pochettino as coach. It is very likely that Enzo Maresca will suffer the same fate as Pochettino if he is unable to bring Chelsea to compete in the top four, management will immediately fire him and replace him with a new coach.

I agree with you that Chelsea management should not rush. Because Chelsea's situation was very unstable. So Chelsea's performance at the start of the season was very erratic. And that's normal. A team has to stabilize gradually. It's not possible too fast. Although Chelsea's performances were erratic at the start of the previous season, Pochettino was able to gradually stabilize the team. And he could have made the team even stronger this season if he got enough benefits this season.

However, the Chelsea management should not be expecting too much from the new coach this season. Adequate time and opportunities must be given to the new coach. If not, it is not possible to bring the continuity of this team's performance.
You and I know that Chelsea is not a club that's patient with their managers. To be honest I thought that brutality ended with Abrahimovic era, but it appears that's not the case. Judging by how they have been firing managers since the new owners took over. Every coach who is going to Chelsea already understand this fact and they know that they have to buckle up. Even if the results are not that very satisfactory at least they should make the europa league spot. But a situation whereby at the end of the season they don't achieve that the manager risks sacking. But if the fact is to be followed, one season is not enough for a coach to transform the fortune of the club, given the fact that they are still rebuilding the squad to be competitive at all front. But I have this great feeling that Enzo Maresca will do better than Porchettino at Chelsea.

Signing players is one thing, the kind of players you sign us another team. With the money Chelsea have spent they should have one of the best squads in Europe. Now they're still signing more players but I'm still not impressed with their signings. I don't understand why they're ready to spend big on young players but won't go all out for an experienced player. They didn't sign Kane because of this and now they've missed out on Osimhen too.

Agreed, Palmer isn't a striker. But he really performed like a striker last season.  Grin  However of course Chelsea wouldn't rely on him to score this many goals every season. It is difficult for a midfielder to maintain such performance.

This is where Chelsea would make use of a real striker who they can benefit from significantly. They are making their investments into midfielders recently but they had better focus on the attacking area as well. Marc Guiu is a new arrival who is a 18-year-old striker. Chelsea is full of young centre-forwards like this. But I think they should actually have a star scorer there to increase the productivity more.

Jackson is still not good enough. I don't think he should be their main striker because of that.  Sad

He was given a much free role to play for Chelsea last season and he didn't disappoint honestly.. I think Mauricio Pochetino finally built around Cole Palmer which brought bout the best of him last season for Chelsea as he also contributed to the goal tally they have Last season. We will see, he reminds me of Juan Mata hopefully he stays longer for Chelsea.

With these names linked to Chelsea for next season, I'll honestly make the complain early enough that they'll not be able to make it to winning a trophy next season, Marc Guiu won't be able to solve the attacking problems they have, we haven't seen what he can do, all we have is highlights of these players and hope a change happens

Nicholas Jackson is more of a winger than he is a new striker, Chelsea manager should know this before hand. I do don't even know what they can do to put a halt to another charades ahead of the new season. Also, they should try to make good use of Mudryk and Christopher Nkuku next season.

Most likely Arne Slot still wants to use the current players, even so there is no pressure for Liverpool management to Arne Slot to force him to find players that Liverpool needs next season, Arne Slot's trust in the players left by Kloop is still good enough if Arne Slot is able to provide the tactics he has, able or not at least saving cash is much better than wasting money to buy expensive players, rather than correcting the squad to find out what is needed.

Actually in this case there is a wild thought from within me where he doesn't want to be too pushy to find players but indeed Liverpool's finances are difficult, especially when it comes to buying players.

Until now we must have realized that in the last few seasons, Liverpool's management seemed stingy in spending their money to find players and that has become an open secret even to fans.

A coach must have his own criteria in seeing players for future plans as well as the Slot so it is unlikely that he will only be satisfied with the current squad because different coaches are definitely different attack schemes and coaching methods that will be carried out. But on the other hand, when management is still reluctant to spend money, then even imposing the will to find players seems to be difficult even though it is an initial step as a form of adaptation from Slot himself.

As for Salah topic, I believe there is still a chance to see him leaving this summer. If it doesn't happen now it would happen in the next one. Liverpool would make their preparations thinking of this possibility of course.

Perhaps Liverpool has changed there mind in letting go of Mohammed Salah because his performance is still needed on the club at least for this season that is about to start, considering the fact that as so many clubs are seriously trying to get more players and enhance there club but Liverpool on the other hand has not been following that trend, so there is no way they would make any rash decision in letting Mohammed Salah leave the club this season because I don't think there is any player currently on the market that can handles Mohammed Salahs roles in Liverpool.

Salah future at Liverpool is still a heated debate considering Salah contract which will expire in 2026 later, leaving Liverpool in a dilemma to keep Salah or even sell him in the near time in order to be able to get a lot of money, because Salah still has a high selling value at the moment, Salah is one of the players who continues to be the mainstay of the klopp in the last few seasons, but I don't think if he will be included in the Arne Slot game scheme next season considering Salah performance which has declined very drastically after he has suffered several injuries both in the national team and Liverpool so far.

Arne slot may try the game scheme that he has been applying in feyenoord which often builds attacks from below and relies on both wings to attack, So it is likely that he will look for new players who are both wingers and central attackers and have the speed to be able to optimize their quick attacks next season.

Salah's contract is only until 2025 and not 2026 and thus, Salah only has one more season at Liverpool and that means, when Salah's contract ends, Salah will be 33 years old. But even so, it looks like Salah still has good speed even though he is no longer young, so it might be natural if Liverpool do not extend Salah's contract, considering about his age which has entered retirement age.

After all, so far there are also no rumors about Salah to leave, because what I get is that Salah still wants to stay or play at Liverpool. Thus, it may be certain that Liverpool will not sell Salah, and let Salah play at Liverpool until his contract expires in 2025. But I'm sure, the decision will also not be wrong because afterall, it looks like Arne Slot will also need Salah who has a big influence and role for Liverpool's squad and performance.
It can be said that the remainder of Salah's contract will end this season, so the 2024/2025 season will be his last season with Liverpool and if in that situation Liverpool fails to reach an agreement to extend Salah's contract. Salah will leave on a free transfer next season. As an important player in the team, Salah is of course the main focus of Liverpool management to submit a proposal for him to continue staying with Liverpool.
Last season Liverpool performed quite well where they managed to show their strength by competing hard with Arsenal and Manchester City. So, can Arne Slot continue this job in his first season as Liverpool coach?
I don't think it would be any issue for Liverpool to want to extend his contract, I think the problem if any would be if Mohamed Salah really wants to extend the contract because I believe he will be the one to take that decision just as mbappe did with PSG as he left the club for his dream club. For the case of Liverpool and Arne slot, the man would definitely be in hot soup as he will definitely need all his best to try and maintain the same playing performance with the club since things would be different as a new coach.

While I do agree that Pochettino might have been fired for bad results and overall bad end rank, I think we are also looking at beyond that level. Pochettino isn't a manager for the youth, he is an established manager who could play great players very well, like I thought he was great at PSG and shouldn't have been fired there. However, here at Chelsea we are talking about a team that is different, this team has too many young stars who will grow to be great, and Chelsea may have spent some amazing amount of money to build this team, and will probably keep on spending more, they also have a chance to sell these players for a lot more as well.

Is Pochettino fired due to bad results? I think he was able to restore the team performance when the season was coming to an end. Chelsea was doing very poorly until Pochettino took over and started getting better performances for Chelsea. But I think Chelsea only needs quick results, and that is why they will find it difficult to achieve what other teams have already achieved. So far, I think they should give a manager enough time to see how they will change the team for the better.

I don’t know for sure, but for me and my own opinion, it will be hard to see a manager who will restore a team like Chelsea to a very good performance like other teams are doing in just one season. I think it will be a very big challenge for the manager, but if they give him enough time, he will definitely do well. But they later fired him because he was unable to give them what they wanted last season, which is bad. But to me, Pochettino tried for Chelsea for the little time he spent there.

If there is no contract extension, Salah must leave Liverpool next year (June 30, 2025). I don't know why Liverpool seems to difficult to negotiate for the contract extension, I think it is about the salary. Salah must expect a higher salary, but Liverpool may have no plan to raise the salary because he is getting older and Salah may not play in his best form anymore in the next few seasons. Now, Salah is one of the key players in Liverpool, but it doesn't guarantee he will remain in the same role in the future. Liverpool management must try to make a proposal of Salah contract extension, but they probably become very careful in making a new agreement.

Last season Liverpool performed quite well where they managed to show their strength by competing hard with Arsenal and Manchester City. So, can Arne Slot continue this job in his first season as Liverpool coach?
I don't think we must expect too much on Arne Slot because it is his first season managing Liverpool. Arne Slot also never managed a big European team and never compete in big European leagues. He was only competing in domestic competitions in Netherlands. So he needs time to adapt with higher level of competition in EPL league.

I understand that everyone is expecting United to do better this season or at least requiring them to do better, 8th is not acceptable level for United and they need to really do better. But, I also think that they have the potential, that 8th was just very low for how good they are, they shouldn't have been that low anyway, and I think it needs to be considered different.

I think the best way to move forward with this would be realizing that we could probably go about doing something better. I am not saying that we are going to deal with things that will change a while, and United won't be some contender or anything, but being at 5th-4th place would be a lot better, that seems like we could definitely see something
 changing.

At some point everyone thinks that much United will be able to do a better job this season Manchester United is lacking behind Compare to order English clubs And if they don’t do better this season I wonder what excuse they will give this time around And a lot of their Fans are already losing faith in them Because it is not easy for your club not to achieve anything take a look at my city one of the best clubs, They are just best best because they Manchester city, That’s title was earned And what annoys me the most is that other clubs have failed To actually learn from Manchester city and that is one of the reasons I don’t want pep to leave because if you look at it, the whole Manchester city of Accomplished it all because of pep I’m sure he will not want to leave Manchester city for now, And even if people wants to live to another club, he has no worries because he has been able to achieve a lot of things while managing Manchester city and the conclusion whoever recorded that paper was one of the best coaches Manchester city could ever have. All the people are expecting a lot from Manchester United. They should try and reduce the expectation so that they don’t get disappointed at the end of the day because I don’t know why I still have a feeling that Manchester United will not improve Next season and if they are able to improve congratulation to them.

Man United is a big team that has a good history and achievement but, last season they recorded a bad performance and closed the season in 8th place which was their worst finish since 1990. At first I thought that it was because Ten Hag was incompetent in carrying out his duties but, after seeing the conditions and reality where so many players were injured throughout the season, I think it will not be easy for any coach to get out of that slump.

We all know that competition in the Premier League is very tough. So it stands to reason that Man United failed because they didn't have many opportunities to play with their best squad, there were even situations where they had to play a defensive midfielder to become a central defender.

Manchester City's progress has been possible thanks to Pep Guardiola. Guardiola has managed to build an excellent squad. The bonding between the players in the squad is very strong. The team was able to perform consistently well throughout the season because of the good chemistry between the players. Also, since Manchester City is a rich club, City's bench team is quite strong. So even if a player suffers an injury, Manchester City does not face a major problem. City's overall performance remains stable.

On the other hand, we have only seen the deterioration of teams like Chelsea and United over the last few seasons. Their squad is strong enough. But due to the lack of experienced coaches, despite having all the qualifications, the performance of these teams is very erratic. The next season is unlikely to see better performances from teams like Chelsea and Manchester United. City, Liverpool and Arsenal are likely to fight for the title.

It's good to find someone who thinks the same as me on this topic. Yeah, why would the chairman like to part ways with Pochettino? Only after one season and despite the big improvement in results on final weeks of the season too.  Sad

I think this was a bad action and hopefully they won't regret it. Because one should never be this hasty with a coach. If there's improvement then you should definitely give it a 2nd chance. Klopp revived Liverpool in 3-4 years as a reminder.

Salah will only decide to stay at Anfield or leave Anfield in the second half of the 2024/2025 season according to my analysis. Currently I think Salah wants to enjoy a new challenge with Arne Slot and wants to experience how Arne Slot has built Liverpool, both as a team and as individual players, as he looks into his first season as Liverpool head coach.
I didn't find any news that said Salah would leave Anfield. Liverpool management may offer Salah a new contract as I predicted above, depending on both of them.

And even , if Salas contract should expire If Liverpool should do the mistake of letting Mohammed Salah go, then you go From points 10 to .0 because one of the best players Liverpool have currently is Mohammed Salah Mohammed Salah might be 33 but still as functional as the 18 year old player Because one of the good attributes Mohamed  Salah Have is that yes speed and at the same time lose out to score while running and players like Muhammad Salah are very rare because evil it is each moment Salah gives is best and I can bet with you the most of the matches that Liverpool played Mohammed Salah is usually the man of the match just because he is a very talented player so Liverpool team in goal, we only put the performance of the club at risk except if they are signing a new player that has more attributes compared to that of mom Salah but for now there is no any news if Mohammed Salah is leaving Liverpool or not but personally I know that Masada we not leave Liverpool for now, I know people are trying to watch out for moments Salah to actually stop playing just because of his age but as for me, I think you should still play this season and consider retirement possibly next season.

When you see a player that wants to leave his club it is usually not an needing attention because from all just shows and comments, you will be able to determine whether the player wants to live or not and if you look at Muhammad Salah, it does not show any of those attributes of That shoes the Muhammad Sala wants to stay and play for Liverpool so whatever might be going around should be discarded because Muhammad Sala still enjoy playing for Liverpool and I don’t see selling in any moment from now not because it’s a good player but because of the sacrifice, he has also made for Liverpool, so selling Muhammad Salah will just be as If it’s no longer useful to them, and which will be very bad after all the sacrifices he has made.

I don't know why Chelsea management sacked coach Pochettino. We have seen a series of good performances from Chelsea in the last matches of the season. And from this it can be assumed that coach Pochettino was able to stabilize this team. Pochettino was then sacked by the Chelsea management.

Just look at Palmer alone, not even anyone else, just him, they could sell him for so much to some big name club that may need a player like him. This means that while they do spend, they also need their young star potential players to keep playing and get better results so that those players would worth something in the future. That is not always because they want players to sell, maybe they won't sell, but it is always more important to have assets that go up in value, and this is what they are looking at by making players worth more as well.
