The point deduction from Everton really affected them this season, if not they would've been in a better position currently. However I must applaud them cause that could've killed the morale and team spirit of some teams but they didn't relent, though they've encountered some defeats after that but they've fought very hard and got out of the relegation zone, with the way they're going I don't think they'll be relegated caused they're really work hard against it, the recent draw against an inform Aston Villa is a prove for that.

Well I won't be suprised if Aston Villa slide down the standings, they've tried in reaching the top four, however it's the 2nd segment of the season and alot of top teams would up their games and the race for the top 4 would be very tough, therefore Villa would also need to setup and not relent if truly they want to end up in top 4.

The match had to end in a goalless draw and both clubs had to settle for sharing 1 point, and what is certain is Manchester City and Arsenal. will not waste this opportunity where Aston Villa has not been consistent lately so Arsenal still has the opportunity to overtake Aston Villa in the match week 21 to shift its position in 3rd place so that the hot competition between the top 4 clubs is still very fierce.

Though I have to say Aston Villa was able to dominate the match. However, they were not able to win. I also think that this might very well be the start of their inconsistency. Not unexpected for them to be really consistent. But I honestly did think that probably they will be able to bring in really good results. Which is still definitely possible. But not if they are inconsistent.

It is indeed crazy. Back in the Premier League after 5 months, he came on at 69, only his 5th time on the ball and finished very technically into the corner. They stumble a lot in the first half, they lose a lot of points. It makes all their rivals hopeful. Wisely, they don't tire themselves too much. I always doubt Aston Villa have the ability to sustain their current level of performance and compete at the top of the table. Their squad depth is not good enough and they dont have experience to handle pressure of fighting at the top. Manchester City is always top contender, especially with the return of key players like Kevin De Bruyne. His presence is seen as a significant factor that could strengthen City's title bid, they are not far behind the table leader.

Liverpool have been having good results while only loss one game, but I agree that their display is not sustainable, because there were games where they struggle to win against teams that were expected to win comfortably. Regarding Arsenal, It's about their mentality to handle pressure to compete at the top with the presence of Liverpool which was absent last season, where they couldn't clinch the title despite a strong campaign. It will be interesting to see how these teams navigate the challenges and compete for the title.

Aston Villa again failed to get full points in this match, because in today match both teams were unable to score goals and the match ended in a 0-0 draw. Both teams share one point from today match, where perhaps Aston Villa are not too satisfied with the results they got because they again failed return for second place in the standings. Well, there is no doubt that the kid has talent. But at the same time, the competition is really high right now. And to make his name as one of the best players in the Premier League right now, which is definitely the best league at this moment, he will have to prove himself a lot better. And at the same time, he will have to make sure that his team wins matches because of him. Well, I don't know if his performing alone is actually going to be enough. That's going to happen only if pochettino will not repeat the same mistake again. The major problem was on the pochettino as he was always making a stupid decision. Middlesbourg will be playing at stamford bridge for the second leg. Chelsea is still having a chance as long as it will be playing fully offensive since the first minute. It's a little ridiculous to see how Pochettino reshuffles Chelsea players but doesn't understand the actual position of the players and I'm very sure that Pochettino won't last long as coach and if Chelsea management still retains him, perhaps this will be a big question mark as to why management retains such a coach. clearly doesn't have the intelligence to manage a club.

True and i was always aware if pochettino keeps repeating the same mistake even since his first match with chelsea. There were so numerous mistakes repeated by him in any games of chelsea. The biggest mistake is wrongly making the bad decision making in the player substitution.
That is also hurting the club a lot caused by wrongly put the players in will be costing the club full points. I was seeing how chelsea fans are so tired in reminding him to fix his decision making for the club.

Pochettino's in game management is absolutely criminal and i can give you the best example, ben chillwel played as left back but pochettino puts him as left winger then levy collwill who played as centre back then pochettino was also putting him as left back.
This is another disaster for chelsea to have a coach who doesn't ahve good decision making combined with good in game management.

Pochettino won in the last match but it was not erasing his bad reputation as a coach with the worst in game management. Im so tired watching chelsea played like shit. Pochettino lets himself down with his worst in game management.

Middlesbourg will be playing at stamford bridge for the second leg. Chelsea is still having a chance as long as it will be playing fully offensive since the first minute. Pochettino sucks. He never tries to understand the best position for his players. Putting colwill as a left back which is a terrible decision. It was really unacceptable thing for all of chelsea fans.

That's the reason I always say in other threads that Pochettino is not an experienced coach and for me he lacks intelligence in managing Chelsea players and what surprises me is that there are still people who believe that Pochettino is able to bring Chelsea to great achievements in the premier league and is able to improve Chelsea's performance while Pochettino doesn't understand how to manage the players that Chelsea currently has, changing player positions inconsequentially Cheesy

It's a little ridiculous to see how Pochettino reshuffles Chelsea players but doesn't understand the actual position of the players and I'm very sure that Pochettino won't last long as coach and if Chelsea management still retains him, perhaps this will be a big question mark as to why management retains such a coach. clearly doesn't have the intelligence to manage a club.

I just don't understand this guy either. In the recent 3 seasons of the Premier League he has been totally inconsistent:

2021/22 season => 4 goals in 25 matches
2022/23 season => 17 goals in 35 matches
2023/24 season => 3 goals in 19 matches

He is still valued at 70 million euros but he hasn't been able to increase his market value since December 2021. Sad

I remember PSG were after him in the past and I wonder if they still are interested. Grin
