About the red card, the officials didn't come to play this season. Six red cards have been shown so far this season and over 89 yellow cards (in omly 2 game weeks). So players need to be extra careful this season.

In the two EPL games played so far, Arsenal has struggled greatly to win those games. It has been hard-fought battles and these battles have been against teams that are thought to be the underdogs this season. They need to step up and improve their performance because it gets more difficult which every passing game week.

The sound of the final whistle was a great relief to the Arsenal team and Mikel Arteta. I saw the young Gunners coach celebrate after the win with his management team. Crystal Palace failed to utilize the opportunity to win after the red card. But I won't blame them that much because Arsenal was good defensively.

I was surprised to see Martin Odegaard taking the penalty while Bukayo Saka was on the pitch. I have never seen him take the penalty in the team, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli are all familiar penalty-takers. Maybe the captain is now skillful in penalties. It was a deserved three points for the Arsenal team.

@Fiatless Arsenal finally didn’t choke and this mentality could be a big difference as they head into this new season because last season they chocked and ended up losing the title to City. Also Rice is shaping up to be a top class player and I totally regret that Manchester United failed to get him because he would have totally transformed Manchester United into genuine title contender’s.

Well said manchester united was winning caused by it was lucky enough as webb annullled last chance from wolvs to make the score to be draw. The same mistake shall not be repeated. This is destroying the reputation of referee in EPL. 1 penalty meant a lot for the club.
There have been many complaints were coming to the webb regarding this. Many people in the world are watching it. They do agree if wolves deserves penalty.

Wolves really tried their best to have a draw with Manchester United,but all their efforts came to fruition in the 76th minute of the game,it was so frustrating for them,but there was nothing they could do about it.If they had drawn that game,it would really have been a great boost for them entering into the season,but they lost which is devastating, however,I picked a point from that game,which is the fact that Manchester United are not really yet prepared for this season,the players have not picked form,but it's a gradual process,something that will happen with time,while Wolves could be very dangerous this season especially when they play against big teams.They put up a very strong test against United,but at the end of the day,Man u came out winning the game which is a good way to start the league.

Yeah it wasn't a good start for Bayern Munich and Kane but I believe things will get better in time. I didn't expect anything from Kane in that match as he was like instantly in the squad of the match. I didn't even wait for him to be brought to this match I mean. Grin

It would have been a big surprise for me if he scored in this match right away.

Newcastle's start was indeed wonderful. It isn't easy to beat a team managed by Emery like this normally but Newcastle just tore them apart by 5-1. After this start I guess that they will be challenging for top 4 again.

When it comes to a title challenge I think that is too much to ask from Newcastle.

To be able to reach that level they should strengthen the squad with more quality players.
