Nkunku being injured is not that much of a big deal breaker for them, he is just going to be missing 4 months, which means that he will be back around November at most, December at worst case, and I believe that nothing major would happen until that point. If they can keep the team competitive until he comes back, he could still provide for a lot of games and he could end up with like 20+ games played for the season, even 30+ games when you consider FA cup as well.

Seems you haven't been watching the Chelsea pre-season games, this season was going to be built around Nkunku as he's the best player we have at the moment, you could see him bringing direct attack to the team when they playing but all that is going to be missed, we needed Chelsea to start the season on a statement making note by then wining Liverpool and go unbeaten atleast for the first 10 games before we can be thinking of drawing but all that hopes is gone. We don't have a direct replacement for Nkunku and all the club has been signing this window are just youngsters that mightn't be ready for the next couple of seasons. Imagine we start poorly this season because of the absence of Nkunku, do you think him coming back can just bring back the confidence, No

Reece James became Chelsea’s captain. I wonder if this will change the game of the London club? Many fans say that Tiago Silva should have been captain. But the coach chose James. We’ll soon know how good a captain James is.

I love the fact that he was trusted to be captain, we know it should have been Mason Mount but he want to chase other desires of his which is an increase in salary but I don't blame him for that because football as we know has changed and now if you don't take the opportunity that present itself for you to make a good salary for yourself you might never get the same  opportunities in the future. Tiago silver doesn't need the armband to be a captain in the dressing room but on the field we need someone that loves the club and we can start a new chapter with. Tiago silver is leaving very soon and can't play every game but Reece James can (excluding when he's injured). Congratulations to Reece James, he's going to make a good captain and follow the full steps of the like of John Terry.

The decision of the outcome of the match between Burnley and Manchester is slightly tough for me because a match between a club legend on his former coach and both would be lookikg to have a win, Burnley just got promoted into the league and would be very tough and defend most of the time against big teams making it tough for them to score easily, how Mancity are the defending champions and would want to have a win from the beginning of the league not minding who they're playing against losing the start of the season is one thing Guardiola won't likely tolerate.
But one thing i know is that no matter how tough Burnley acts or how defensive his team plays they might only get a draw and not win City because so far Guardiola's midfield is intact with Debruyne and kovacic include then a goal or two must definitely get in Guardiola would always be Guardiola and won't fail to get 3points with a good goal margin when he sees a chance to.
Of course the first match will be difficult to predict the final result. However, seeing the depth of the two teams, there is no doubt that Manchester city is the favorite to win this match. I think Burnley got a pretty strong opponent in their first match in the Premier League this season. Kompany could make a big surprise if he can guide Burnley to victory against Manchester City.

I think Erling Haaland is still a player that the Burnley bottom line is quite wary of. Because the Burnley defenders must be able to turn off the space for Erling Haaland so that Manchester City will have difficulty scoring goals in this first match. But I'm sure Manchester City can get 3 points in this match.

Unfortunately for them they are not going to be in anything else, they are not going to Europe, and that's the trouble for them. If they did, they could have made more money, and by the time he comes back he will reach to either last group stage games, or the last 16 as well and be ready for it.
Bad start to the season even though Nkunku is one of talented player who can be relied upon at chelsea but unfortunately he has to rest until appointed time.
Although some people say this will not be a big problem for chelsea and they still have reserve player, but performance is not as good as Nkunku, but what if this has happened, Mauricio pochettino must work hard to find ways to improve situation.

It would surely be a surprise to me if City would struggle against a club like Burnley. You seem to think Manchester City depends solely on Haaland to score goals. And it’s somewhat laughable that a just promoted team to the EPL Burnley, would give the current title holders, Manchester City a tough time. I think  Manchester City would win the game and claim this 3 points easily.
City doesn’t depend solely on Haaland and the sooner any team realizes that, the greater chance they’ve got to actually stand a chance against them.
Congratulations to Burnley and Kompany on being promoted to the EPL. Now, they’ve got to face stronger competition.

Burnley would be hard to beat, that's because they'll want to impress after returning back from Championship. Manchester City depends on the entire squad for goals but last season more goals came from the talented viking.
Manchester City will win the game but then, But then, I'd love to see Vincent Kompany winning at home. With how impotent Erling Haaland was last Sunday, I double doubt he'll be on the score sheet against Burnley, it's a tough prediction, but I'm hoping to see it happening.

The problem is that Harry Kane is the hope for Tottenham to have goal productivity in his matches, we see that, but what power players do Tottenham have, the performance is uneven, which causes them to not develop rapidly to compete with other teams, especially in the English league which today is very tight. competition, so the decision to move to another strong league team like Bayern Munich was the right decision to carve out his achievements in his career as a football player, if he continues to remain silent at Tottenham, he must accept that he became a legend without a trophy in his career in the big league .
But if you think about it, if Tottenham do sell him, they will suffer enough to lose Harry Kane and their hopes will be even narrower to be in the top 3 of the Premier League standings.
Tottenham is a team that can provide good competition in the Premier League because of the quality and ability of its players. But unfortunately Tottenham have so far not been able to win the Premier League title even though they have proven their game consistency several times and collected many points. Tottenham finished runners up in the Premier League in the 2016-2017 season, but they have also managed to qualify for the Champions League 5 times out of the last 9 seasons.

Tottenham completely failed last season even though Kane managed to score a lot of goals. Kane can't do much for his team because I don't think Tottenham have the good mentality to win the Premier League. They failed many seasons, and that is one fact that hurts.

Man City are traveling to visit the newly promoted side Burnley, is going to be the opener of the EPL. Burnley did very good last season before coming to the EPL and I believe they'd do better this time around in the  EPL but on the other hand Manchester City are the champions and they have their midfield intact but that scoring machine Haaland is not that sharp as of last season, so I don't even see City doing too well like last season in terms of scoring much goals.
This is just the beginning of the season and that will be the first match for the two clubs, the match is going to be interesting but am not expecting anything special from Manchester City, it’s just the beginning and they might not even put much effort, Burnley have just been promoted to premier league, am expecting them to perform well in the match against Manchester City since it will be their first match in premier league. seriously the match is going to be interesting and I can’t even afford to miss the match.

So to me I feel City are going to struggle if they see Haaland as the only striker to give them much goals,
All Manchester City strikers are talented and Manchester city those not depend on only Haaland to score for them, at the end of last season, most clubs didn’t give Haaland opportunity when playing, but Manchester City still won most of those matches, if Haaland is properly attacked, you will see that he won’t be able to perform well, but that those not still mean Manchester City won’t will win the match.

Sure, they would want to make a statement and what better statement is there to make by beating the current title holders of the EPL. No doubt, a lot of Manchester City goals last season came from Haaland. He’s the striker and put there to score goals. All those goals scored last season won’t be possible without the amazing teamwork of the entire team.
I still doubt Burnley would be hard to beat. They would surely play at their best but it might not be enough to keep City from going ahead to win the game.

The injury of Nkunku is a big blow to the Chelsea squad. He is a new signing for God's sake and the club was expecting to have a full squad to start the chase for trophies. Nkunku's absence for four months would affect the performance of the club because he is expected to play an important part in the plan of coach Mauricio Pochettino. In the Premier League, every game is important so not having Nkunku for four months is a big deal. Now the club will have to rely on Nicolas Jackson to lead the attack with other players like Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Noni Madueke.

Winning remained the ultimate priority for the cityzens, absolutely no room for reluctance, always ready to proved themselves in all league games. Pep Guardiola will face his former defender, Vincent Kompany, but this time as a manager. It's definitely going be an easy game for the cityzens. Manchester city facing the New promoted club, however they've been in the league before and they know how the club operates. Burnley will get acquainted with the new standards of the EPL with time, but for now, they would struggle to win games.

Vincent Kompany succeeded as a player and now he has started making marks as a coach. After the former Burnley coach Sean Dyche's was sacked so many key players left Burnley. With relatively young and inexperienced players Kompany build a strong football team that worked hard to make it to the premier league. The match against Manchester City and Burnley is unpredictable because Burnley is coming to make a mark in the EPL. Pep will be facing his formal player and captain, now as a coach.

Reece James became Chelsea’s captain. I wonder if this will change the game of the London club? Many fans say that Tiago Silva should have been captain. But the coach chose James. We’ll soon know how good a captain James is.

In my opinion, Vice captain would've been a more fitting role for him. This might be as a result of Trent becoming Liverpool's vice captain. Trent and James have always been set up for head to head comparisons. But since it's Pochettino's decision, I won't question since he knows better than I do. More fitting verteran players like Silva like you suggested or Chilwell – Chilwell in particular really need that role. James is only 23 - A very impressive right back.

Well, it will be the match opener for the 2023–2024 Premier League. Burnley will play at home, and we all know how Burnley has always been a tough team to beat by almost all the big Premier League teams back then, and I am sure they come back strong and are willing to stay in the Premier League; therefore, it will be a tough arguing match.

There is no doubt that Manchester City are capable of beating Burnley in the game, but it will not be as easy as most of us think because no team wants to start the season with a loss. Therefore, the game will be tough, but Manchester City may slightly win the match, but there will be no too many goals in the match.

Burnley's coach is an ex-Manchester City player but they won't get any special favours. Guardiola's match tactics are quite good. And Manchester City's squad is also strong. So I think Burnley's chances of doing well in this match are very low.

I have never seen Burnley win against Manchester City. I checked the results of the last 10 matches between these two teams. Burnley can't score any points in a single match. They lost every match. And in these 10 matches Burnley have conceded 35 goals and scored just one. For these reasons, I don't see any chance of Burnley picking up points against Manchester City, even though this match is Burnley's home game.
This is my point as well. Guardiola's match tactics are also very well known by everyone and the strength of the team is no secret either.
Kompany knows that if they want to succeed against Manchester City, and with succeed I mean win a point, which would already be sensational, the only chance against Manchester City is to use the few chances you get during the game. Burnley won't have 8 shots on target. Maybe they can have like 3 shots on target and of those 3 shots, 2 should end up in the back of the net. This is the strategy. They need a stable defense and try to not get tired too early from the constant attacking football by Manchester City. Arsenal can think about strategies and weaknesses of Manchester City, but Burnley needs to do a very basic job.

There is no way to say that Kompany is a bad coach. He is a fantastic coach and very hardworking. Thanks to Kompany's efforts, the Burnley side managed to qualify for the Premier League. But that doesn't mean they will win against the best teams in the Premier League. Manchester City is a very strong team. And we know Manchester City's match strategy. But even then the renowned teams of the Premier League cannot win against City. Because every player at City is very talented. Burnley can pick up points in this match if Manchester City make any big mistakes. If Burnley's players can take advantage of every opportunity, the team has the potential to pick up points. But I think it will be a one-sided match.

whereas Wolves lost their best players who were sold in the past and this is the problem that made the coach leave Wolves because of different opinions but its true how can a team perform strong without talented players. so this season is likely to be a very bad season for Wolves as it loses a talented player and also its coach as the summer games approach to start soon.
financially it looks like Wolves have sold some of their talented players to recover their finances but it seems like it will only be in vain because the time is too short.
We know a mid-table club like Wolves doesn't aim for anything except to stay in the Premier League so that if there is an opportunity to make a profit then they will do it then they will look for other younger players who are cheaper, yeah, it's as simple as that. Wolves' income this season is around 105 million in the transfer window while their expenses are around 61 million they made a profit of about 40 million, not bad right?  the most important thing is that they still have a squad capable of competing in the Premier League.

Financially, Wolves management has been very profitable. However, Wolves' performance in the last season was not very good. They were very close to the relegation zone. Several key players in the squad have been sold by Wolves management. Their squad has been somewhat weakened despite being financially profitable. If the performance of Wolves players is not good in the next season, the team may have to go to the relegation zone. It is not less likely. Last season we saw a renowned team like Leicester City in the relegation zone. The team failed to qualify for the Premier League. So Wolves will have to play very carefully from the start of next season. Otherwise, qualifying for the Premier League will be challenging for the team.

What you should know is that Manchester City did not build their team on Haaland alone for them to win matches. Haaland does serve as a distraction given to team defenders, to make way for other Manchester City players to score goals. That's the tactics that worked for Pep Guardiola last season that made Manchester City lift a triple trophy last season.
We don't know what tactics will Pep Guardiola come up with this season. Whether will it be, Haaland, act as a front-man that will distract team defenders, for other of his team players to have chances to score, or another way around which we can't tell until the premier league begins fully.

We've all seen Burnley struggle against big teams in the Premier League, and I anticipate them to continue to do so. The bigger teams in the league will find it difficult to fight their chances of winning in the Premier League. Their match against Manchester City, which is the opener, will be quite exciting, and their chances of winning will be significant because of their drive to play in the Premier League after being promoted last season. Manchester City are the current champions, and I believe they will want to retain that title at the end of the season, but we'll have to wait and see how this season goes for them.

I don't understand why this match is supposed to be competitive. Is Burnley a strong team? Have they built a strong squad this season? None of these. Burnley is a relatively weak team. This match is expected to be competitive as it is the first match of the season. But I don't think so. I guess the match will be completely one sided. This is Burnley's home match though. However, we will see the dominance of Manchester City in this match. Because City's past record against Burnley is very good. Most of the matches Manchester City won by big margins. In this match, Manchester City will win with a margin of more than 2 goals.
