Yesterday West Ham lost in the FA cup against a team playing in a much lower division than the Premier League and that for me was a really big surprise result.A team from the Premier League who happen to have won not long ago the Europa Conference League to lose to a team playing in a lower division. That shows that West Ham is truly in a volatile performance in the Premier League.
I thought West Ham would recover in the second half, but Benrahma's red card turned the whole order upside down. Unfortunately, after this moment, nothing was achieved other than waiting helplessly against Bristol. They don't care much about the FA Cup, but it must still be sad for them to lose to a team in the lower league.
In that match, I think West Ham was careless at the start of the match. Maybe they initially underestimated Bristol City a little. So it is not surprising that Bristol City immediately scored a goal in the 3rd minute after the match started. I think it was quite a big surprise for West Ham. So West Ham was not optimal throughout the match.

But apart from that, West Ham's consistency is not that good this season. Sometimes they play well and can make things difficult even for strong teams in the EPL. But sometimes they slump and lose to weak teams. And yes, it could be said that West Ham's performance has fluctuated or fluctuated. But currently in the EPL West Ham is quite good. In fact, they are ranked 6th. And it is really surprising that they lost in the FA Cup to a team that was actually just ordinary in terms of performance and quality of play.

Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

It was a very disappointing defeat, as it came against a team in a lower competition than them. If I'm asked if they deserve this defeat, then the answer is that they do, because in the game they are not so good and even the opponent can play better than them. Maybe the red card could be the reason for their defeat in this match, but still by chance when they were still playing with 11 players in the first half they did not show anything better.
West Ham must evaluate their defeat in this match, because if this continues it will be a threat that comes from within themselves when in the Premier League.

These are cup matches and it is obvious that West Ham did not have high hopes for these tournaments, the starting line-up for this game shows us this. Moes will concentrate all his efforts on the Premier League, this is obvious, and perhaps on the EL, as far as they have enough strength, but they do not have such a high-quality bench depth to try to qualitatively participate in more than two tournaments.

that's amazing how bristol has become unbeaten against westham. David moyes was not learning from the result of the first match. Bristol deserves to play in the further stage. Westham played even worst than bristol which makes me feel that if westham is just average team this time.
It was being so clueless during the game and even though bristol has better statics compared to the westham which is a very embarrassing result for westham. I have no word to say that but bristol get the job done perfectly.

People have never predicted if westham would be struggling to face bristol two times in a row. The first game westham gets draw against it and this time it must be go back with embarassing result to lose with narrow score against it.
That's unpredictable result from FA cup. Westham totally lost its gameplay, the club was only showing how to perform the worst in that game. Westham was just playing like a relegation standard or even worst than it.
Westham was just facing a mediocre club but it can't even keep up with the performance from bristol. I see that so many fans were showing their disappointment in the interview after the game.

Westham was playing like a different club in that game. No doubt that people have been blaming for the poor performance showed by westham.

Westham played like shit against bristol. I meant that if statistic has said it all. Westham was only making two goal attempts while bristol has more than westham. JWP was even playing in this match, too. It wa embarrassing result for westham to lose against low divison club.
It will be another home task for moyes to make his club learnt from the result against bristol. It must be a shame for all of westham players caused by they were not seeing bristol as a worthy opponent for the club.

Westham played with very low standard in the previous match and moyes seems to underestimate its opponent. Westham got draw against bristol in the previous match and it was losing again which is very bad.
West ham played out a draw against this Bristol city in the first leg at London stadium, I think it was when I confirmed that it was going to be difficult to beat Bristol city away. Honestly it was shocking but very much expected with this available squad.
West ham have not been putting up good performances lately. Maybe because they’re missing some key players, as First-teamers such as Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio have been sidelined, while Mohammed Kudus and Nayef Aguerd are away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

It happens and we should understand that this is football so i am not surprised a bit, the lost could be as a result of some key players not featured in the match but that is really not an excuse to lose to a lower division side Bristol city. Few minutes to the second half West ham received a red card and it contributed to them not winning but i believe this performance will only stay in the FA cup,  they dare not bring such performance to the premier league else they would lose alot of points.

With the current performance of Manchester City now if they mange to enter the premier League first position I'm confident that they will surely win the league because ever since Kevin de Bruyne return from the injury Manchester City had been very consistent in performance.

The competition between Manchester City and Liverpool is becoming more and more interesting. Although Liverpool leads Manchester City by just two points, I'm only confident that Manchester City will win the Premier League this season. I think that in their upcoming games, Haaland will return to the squad. If Haaland returns from his injury, I don't see any team stopping Manchester City to win the Premier league. With their current performance, Manchester City will overtake Liverpool, because I believe that Mohamed Salah's absence will have an effect on them in their upcoming games.

The outcome of the game really surprised me as well, even though we all believe that anything can happen in football, but i wasn't anticipating West Ham would lost to Bristol City that is in 14 position in the championship. When Bristol scored an early goal in the three minutes started of the match, i was hoping that West Ham would equalize to win the match, but Bristol's defense did not give them any chance to score any goals. It's possible that West Ham's aim isn't to win the FA Cup.

I really don't like double standards for teams but there is nothing we can do about it unfortunately. Manchester City also faced issues with FFP but they didn't get punished for that. When Everton do a similar thing their situation is evaluated differently. Why do these FFP rules are only applied for smaller teams?

Anyways this season will be really difficult for Everton and they are likely to battle for not to relegate on the final weeks once again. Everton weren't like this in the past but for a couple of years they have been really terrible. At least they haven't relegated yet.

Everton's current position is number 17 with 17 points. I read local news, Everton could have received a second penalty related to profitability. If there is another 10-point deduction penalty then they will be at the bottom. This means they will have only 7 points left. There's a good chance they could be relegated. If they can't win every game.

That's right and we can see that currently Manchester City is getting closer to the top of the standings, only needing 3 more points to overtake Liverpool, now Manchester City is just waiting for Liverpool to make a mistake or Manchester City can wait until next March when the two clubs fight each other. In the Premier League there are still 2 places left for Champions League tickets I know Arsenal and Aston Villa are up there but somehow I think in the near future both clubs will be out of the top 4 so who is more worthy to be there, Tottenham or West Ham?
In the end, only Man City and Liverpool competed for the EPL title. Man City's points tally is getting closer to just two points, De Bruyne's return has a big impact on Man City's game and Liverpool lost Moh Salah who played in the Africa Cup of Nations. Looking at Liverpool's current condition, it is not impossible that they will lose points, because Moh Salah is Liverpool's mainstay player on the front line. To stay in the top four until the end of the season I think Arsenal and Tottenham.

Man City also has to improve its defense line, because in the match against Newcastle, even though Man City won, Man City seemed overwhelmed in defense when facing fast counter attacks. Newcastle striker Alex Isax was able to easily get past Walker, Natan Ake and Rodrigo to beat Man City's substitute goalkeeper. Likewise with Gordon's second goal which occurred in the same pattern. So in my opinion, Pep Guardiola also has to seriously improve the strength of his back line, especially since their three defenders are too focused on helping the attack. If this is not changed, it is not impossible that they will slip up again in the next match so that their target of retaining the EPL title will fail.
Yes, Man City and Liverpool are neck-and-neck. Its amazing how one mistake can change everything. Man City appears revitalized with De Bruyne returning. His presence works wonders. Their gameplay has become more dynamic and aggressive. But their defense, as you noted, is worrying. They seem intent on attacking but forgetting to secure the back door.

Im undecided about Arsenal. Despite their ups and downs, I wouldnt write them off. Arteta's a wizard at surprising. Aston Villa, Tottenham, and the rest will also struggle. Who can stay calm and grasp opportunities in the final stretch?

I don't think this is an issue of bigger and smaller clubs, but rather how much contact and influence the investors have on the organization. The owners of ManCity simply have a better connection here. In addition, ManCity is certainly treated differently than a club like Everton, which has little to no international appeal. That's just football and the sporting world in general. Just look at the election of Messi as world footballer. That was no longer about performance, otherwise Erling Haaland would have had to win.

West Ham's defeat today was very surprising because they lost to a weak team that is not from the main league, even though the weak team had taken the lead at the start of the first half. But unfortunately West Ham could not counterattack at all until the match ended and even West Ham Ham had to lose Benrahma in the second half which made it even more difficult for West Ham to stabilize their strength until they finally had to accept defeat from a weak team, Bristol City. In fact, this defeat was a bit embarrassing considering that West Ham is not a weak team in the main league but couldn't beat a team that was actually better weaker than them Roll Eyes

If Liverpool want to win the title, they must win consistently. Liverpool is now only 2 points ahead of Manchester City. Losing a point in a match would also see Liverpool lose top spot in the table. This is why every match now is very important for Liverpool.
Changes in position from first to fifth can still occur because the difference in points is very small. Liverpool is under pressure from Manchester City with a difference of two points, a defeat suffered by Liverpool in the next match makes it lose first position if Manchester City manages to win the match in the same week. This season's EPL competition is more competitive than last season, Tottenham, who is in fifth place, has the same points as Arsenal, who is in fourth place. Arsenal must win the match in Week 21 to stay away from Tottenham and catch up with the points collected by Aston Villa.
Manchester City which is starting to find its best playing form, is trying to reach the top of the standings from Liverpool. The difference of two points with Liverpool makes the competition at the top of the standings even more exciting.

I agree with you. Every team from first  to fourth place in the  table has a chance to top the points table. Liverpool  at the top of the table  have collected 45 points from 20  games, and fourth placed Arsenal are now 5 points behind Liverpool. It's not a big gap.

Premier League teams are very strong. So it will not be possible for Liverpool and Manchester City to win every match consistently. It is normal that they will lose points in some matches. So Arsenal and Aston Villa have the potential to top the table. But for this, their overall performance needs to be strengthened. But I think Liverpool and Manchester City will stay in the title fight this season until the end of the season.

I think so too. Both Liverpool and Man City will be the tightest competitors in the EPL with a very small point gap. So we can see that if one of them slips even once, it will really benefit the other. Man City experienced a decline in performance when several of its main players were injured for a long time, especially de Bruyne. But now, Man City has returned to normal. With the hope that the contribution of all Man City key players, including de Bruyne in particular, can really bring Man City back to being as strong as before. So, the competition between Man City and Liverpool will really be exciting.

On the other hand, Arsenal seems to be starting to move away from the competition due to some of their performance which has declined quite a bit since the middle of the season. Arteta has several times not been able to get his team to achieve the victory they should have, and instead experienced failures that were actually unnecessary. In this case, Arteta must work even harder to rebuild Arsenal and compete with Man City and Liverpool for the EPL title. Oh yes, regarding Aston Villa, this was really unexpected because they also turned out to be progressing very well. However, when compared to Man City and Liverpool, it looks like Aston Villa still has to try harder. At least, them being in the top 3 or getting into the UCL is something that is definitely very valuable.
Manchester City and Liverpool are the only serious competitors we’ve got for the EPL right now and funny enough these are the 2 consistent teams we’ve got over the past 4 years in the English league. Now any slip from any of both teams will be a big boost on the other and each team will want to try to make sure all her players are sound and injury free so as to always be battle ready.

The race will be interesting and fun to watch especially for football lovers around as this could probably be one last keenly contested title race between these 2 teams in a while. Arsenal with her injury problems aren’t seen as title contenders anymore but rather as top 4 competitors and they should be careful how they go on because they could move off that spot if they’re not being careful. Aston Villa aren’t a match for Liverpool and City but could probably be giving in a fight to get a UCL spot and this is one team Arsenal should be wary off because currently I don’t see Arsenal being better off than Aston Villa.

Farewell o_e_l_e_o
Kelvin De Bruyne without doubt is a very important member of the Manchester City team and he really proved his worth when he featured for the club for the first time in over four months after picking up injury in August last year. His performance in that game was simply breathtaking as he came from the bench to score a goal and provide an assist for another to help Manchester City come from behind to take all three points against Newcastle United during the weekend.
Kevin and Manchester City are trying to enjoy their last happy seasons because the career of Kevin is counting down. He is returning impressively from his injury and if he continues, he will help Manchester City a lot in coming months when both Premier League and Champions League will come to most important months in this season.

However we must be realistic about Kevin as he is older and his body will become more sensitive with injury. With abundant money in Manchester City for player transfer, they will not have need to keep Kevin in their club and soon they will say goodbye with Kevin. Winning one more Premier League and one more Champions League will be a perfect goodbye from Kevin.

Yes, the competition between Manchester City and Liverpool is getting hotter and this is certainly a nerve-wracking situation for Liverpool and Manchester City, but it seems that if you look at the match time, of course Liverpool will compete earlier oppose Bournemouth, which is currently ranked 12th, of course. This would be a good opportunity for Liverpool to add points so that the point difference with Manchester City would be greater, but if for example Liverpool lost, of course this would be a big disaster for Liverpool because Manchester City would definitely try to shift Liverpool's position. and it is certain that Manchester City wants Liverpool to make mistakes so that Manchester City can easily shift Liverpool's position. Yes, of course it will be an exciting match at Anfield and of course Liverpool as the host will definitely give their best performance and don't want to be embarrassed, but Manchester City will definitely show their best performance. Yes, I think Manchester City and Liverpool have a big chance of being selected for the Champions League. I think Tottenham will have the potential to rise and be in 4th place in the future, but of course it is not an easy matter to shift Arsenal's position because Arsenal will definitely continue to add points.

Arsenal are swimming in crocodile water they have to work harder if they are to continue being in the top 4 spot. Tottenham are finding their form once again and they are also active in the transfer making sure they strengthen their squad. The premier league is going to be more interesting in the coming months. With Kelvin and Haland fit again for Manchester City, it is going to be a rollercoaster, but Jurgen Klopp should be up for the challenge.

Liverpool will be having the hit now and of they can continue to be consistent and avoid losing or drawing matches then it's all good for them though this won't be easy but if they really want to win the league title, this is want they need because as it seems City are no longer sleeping or struggling while Arsenal has already lost the race to me
Truly is going to be tough on Liverpool because they will have no option but to put more efforts on there matches from now because with the force at which Manchester City is moving if Liverpool fails to maintain their performance by consistently wining there matches Manchester City will take the first position away from them.

However Liverpool is very lucky that there next match will be against Bournemouth and we all no that Bournemouth doesn't stand a chance against Liverpool so perhaps is certainly obvious that is a win match for Liverpool because there performance has been very impressive so wining the match will be an added advantage for them over Manchester City while Manchester City will be meeting Tottenham Hotspur which is actually going to be a tough match for the both sides because irrespective of Manchester City performance Tottenham Hotspur is also good but since Kelvin de Bruyne is back to Manchester City team they will likely win Tottenham Hotspur.
