This is what makes the EPL so unpredictable because no matter what happens in 90 minutes, small or big clubs always have problems that sometimes cannot be explained because clubs in the EPL are quite competitive.

Furthermore, for Everton, it can actually be said that this season they are better than the previous season because if only this season they did not get 10 penalty points for violations at this time they were already in the middle of the table but because they got a reduction of 10 points this season made them more often near the relegation zone and 1 line higher than the bottom 3 clubs.

Although in the previous 3 matches they had problems because they had to lose in tough matches where Boxing Day was very torturous but in my opinion if they do the same thing as against Aston Villa yesterday they will still be very possible to continue to rise in terms of position in the standings.

They played against the Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester City and Aston Villa and I guess they didn't really expect to get away with a lot of points here. But the draw against Aston Villa was still valuable for them. However, there are now a couple of games which is again against Tottenham and Manchester City in the next three weeks, but afterwards the quality of their opponents will be a bit lower. But as we just said here, no game is an easy game no matter who the opponent is. But I think they are still set up well enough to stay in the Premier League and not get relegated. But none of the team and the bottom of the table can be written off yet, except for Sheffield, which now slowly looks more hopeless than the other teams.
Looking at the schedule that Everton will face for the next few weeks, it looks like this will be a problem for them, because the opponents they will face can be said to be currently performing above Everton.

Big names like Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United (although Manchester United are currently still like clowns Cheesy) they could have lost points on the other hand, Brighton and West ham are also still suitable to be said as dark horses even though Brighton is not as violent as last season but they can still make a breakthrough in the end. Not to mention the internal problems that Everton will face at this time because we know for now they are again charged and may receive additional penalties after previously 10 points they have been deducted.
Everton's tough season still continues it seems for this season because indeed if last season their problems were only from performance but for now their problems are also currently increasing because they have to deal with the authorities in FFP issues.

That's the consequence if they don't obey the rules there was no way to avoid it if Everton had done it, Everton have narrowly avoided relegation after their struggles last month but unfortunately the problem is not over yet and clearly has an impact on the players' mentality, imagine if Everton deducted 10 points then they only have 7 points while this league only has 17 matches remaining meaning that Everton is definitely one of the candidates for relegation. Honestly, I think this is unfair and hope Everton can get past this however, I want to see Everton in the Premier League next season.
The impact that would occur if Everton received another points deduction was clearly very large, everyone involved in the club would experience psychological pressure, and the club would be threatened with relegation. However, according to news circulating, the Premier League decision is not yet final, and Everton is currently waiting for a final decision. There is an opportunity for Everton to appeal if they receive another points deduction. The same thing also happened to Nottingham Forest, they are also waiting for the same threat that Everton is currently facing.

This news has caused various reactions from fans who reject the sanctions that threaten their favorite club, and I think everyone will return to speculating about other Premier League clubs, namely Chelsea and Manchester City. Two clubs were also reported to indicated have violated FFP rules, but so far no sanctions have been imposed on them. Despite all that, I predict Everton and Nottingham Forest will still be punished, even though we hope they can stay in the Premier League next season.

Something that I would be more interested in is how these violations by Everton relate to any violations that the bigger clubs like Manchester City are being accused of. So far there really has never been a big penalty for any of those financial superpowers in the Premier League, but when you think about it I am actually rolling my eyes because I don't understand how they can successfully circumvent any of these sanction?

They are now hammering these smaller clubs and cause them to get relegated due to points deduction, and while there is nothing wrong with enforcing the rules, it still remains unanswered how other clubs are getting away with their violations. Are those violations just less significant or wasn't it possible to prove them? Manchester City has been under investigation all the time, but nothing serious ever happened.

I think City's current strength lies in Kevin de Bruyne and Haaland. These two players were key to City's game in achieving the treble winner last season. We could see at the start of the season when KDB was injured how City's game was below our expectations. So KDB's return is the good news that fans have been waiting for. I hope KDB can play with Haaland again when their condition is 100%. Currently they are only 2 points behind Liverpool in first place and with many games still remaining I think City will again have a big chance to become back-to-back EPL champions this season.
In fact, Man City's strength is almost evenly distributed across each player, only with the return of Kevin De Bruyne and soon Haaland will also recover from injury, this will increase the strength of Man City's front line and it is very likely that in every match when these two players are played, the number goals per game will increase. However, the most crucial thing is Kevin De Bruyne because he is the mastermind behind the Man City attack. Even though he missed half the season, as soon as he played he immediately showed his class. Even though it's only been two matches, he has shown his level again, even Kevin De Bruyne came on as a substitute in two matches and immediately felt the impact for Man City. Maybe wait a month so he can return to appearing consistently like the last few years so it is not impossible that they can defend the EPL title this season. However, in my opinion, it is impossible to maintain the Treble Winner because of the UCL League this season, because Real Madrid has made very big changes after bringing in Jude.
Manchester City's current strength is indeed very complex because they are still very good in terms of skill and the average quality of the players, it's just that when looking at what happened, it seems that we must be aware that above the players who are indeed of the same average skill there are several players who are able to change the course of the match and the Manchester City scheme through their vision in playing and it is evident when several core players are injured and they are players who can be considered influential, Manchester City will still find it difficult when the schedule is tight. Indeed, if their schedule is not that busy they will definitely be able to maximize even though there are no several players in the squad but because of their busy schedule and the players are too shortened, this makes it a little difficult for Manchester City and in December last year we must have seen what happened because by losing several core players they made the EPL a little shaky even though in other competitions they were still very superior.

I think it is a move in a wrong direction for the FA to deduct 10 points from Everton at this point in time when the club is facing relegation battles, this will only dampen their confidence and also jeopardize everything they have worked for so far. Everton still has the right to an appeal though but if they lose the appeal then it would be very disastrous for them and may cost them their chances of escaping relegation so let's hope that everything goes in Everton's favour when the hearing for their appeal comes up.

How can you call that as unfair. There was a reason anything. The main reason if everton has been violating the rules and that's it. Nottingham forest has been releasing official statement too which makes everything clear that if the club is now accepting it.

I will give you a small update regarding this problem.

Quote
The chief executive of the Premier League, Richard Masters, has confirmed that a date has been agreed to hear the 115 charges brought against Manchester City and acknowledged a delay in assessing 777 Partners’ offer to buy Everton, as he sought to show MPs the top flight remains committed to reform of English football.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/jan/16/date-set-for-manchester-citys-115-charge-hearing-confirms-richard-masters

Manchester city has gotten the date for the hearing of all charges against city. It will become a disaster for manchester city. Chelsea may be targeted by EPL as well but i think that there were lots of clubs have been violating the rules.
The sanction has been also delaying the acquisition for everton. It will give bad impact to the club and probably the acquisition will be cancelled if everton will be going down to the lower division.

There are so many things are still remain unanswered till this time. We do know that there will be a lot of disappointed regarding this but EPL is just trying to be better. Manchester city needs to make a preparation for that.

Everton and Nottingham Forest will reportedly face points deductions for violating the Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) of the Premier League. I think this case is not the first time for Everton because last November they experienced almost the same thing and received a 10 point deduction. If they are proven to have violated this again, then they will definitely lose the points they have worked so hard to get so far.
If they are found guilty for the second time and given another potential 10 point deduction this late in the season, it will do them more harm than the early one they received in November. I'm amazed they broke so many rules, starting with overspending on their stadium reconstruction and now what FFP? I'm not shocked to see Nottingham Forest on the list. After all, this is a team that brought in nearly 25 new players last season, which was impossible to achieve without breaking the rules.

In any case, neither team will be missed. Everton fought and won the last two relegation battles, so maybe it's time to finally go to the championship. 10 points deduction each from both teams will see them occupy 20th and 19th on the table.
Obviously this is not what they want but if it is proven wrong then Everton and Nottingham must be prepared to accept the risk. Of course, this is detrimental because collecting points every week is difficult, especially against strong teams and we know that the EPL is like hell for mediocre teams. I think this violation is so serious that it makes the fate of Everton and Nottingham even more wide open towards the relegation zone and of course they will have even more difficulties with the remaining matches they will face.

It was too late and there was nothing they could do but accept this bitter reality. Maybe learning alone is not enough and they still want to repeat it again. Anyway, talking about this case, we must remember that Manchester City also has 115 charges and they are still completely untouched by the relevant parties, right? Roll Eyes
True and people were forgetting it caused by it will be useless to talk about that since manchester city was the richest one after newcastle. EPL will never consider it as violations to the rules. EPL may be defending manchester city coz it has one of biggest fans in the world. Oil's money can protect you easily from any accusations. It has been several years since the initiation of the investigation into Manchester City, and to this day, no conclusive evidence has been discovered, indicating that there may be no grounds for imposing sanctions on the club.
The small club who didn't have money lack of good strategy to avoid FFP. This is also the main problem owned by EPL. People were also calling it corrupt.

I have no wordh to say but it seems like that there will be more clubs to be targeted by EPL to receive the sanction. Chelsea may also become the one of them who will be receiving its sanction soon.
Im not really happy with this but since it was final decision from EPL and we can do nothing to save it. Everton and nottingham forest need to push its performance to leave from the relegation zone. Im not doubting everton but i doubt about nottingham forest.
These clubs need to work even harder to make sure it will able to leave from relegation zone asap after those will receive their sanctions.

Obviously, if Everton get another points deduction penalty then of course it will be certain that Everton will be relegated. But apart from that, if you just know about the case, that the reduction of 10 points has been done and occurred in the first half of the season. So for this moment, the points that Everton currently have that it is included with the reduction of 10 point . So, basically Everton have managed to recover despite being deducted 10 points because of the punishment they received because after all, at this moment Everton are also outside the relegation zone.

Although indeed, Everton position is not completely safe but at least, because considering Everton who received a point deduction penalty and at the same time Everton did not have a stable performance . So ya, if Everton managed to get out of the relegation zone, of course it would still be a good result for Everton at this moment, because of course it is not easy to increase morale when the situation is bad as the team is currently experiencing.

I had this feeling that this Everton issue that got them lose 10 point would definitely come back to hurt them in a different way. I can't really get why they had to face this same penalty twice in one season, when it happened to Juventus they managed to get past it and they did very well on the log after the deduction of point but with Everton I don't see them doing any good in this one after the first punishment that transformed them, this upcoming problem would only kill the morale of the team, who knows they might end up in the relegation zone.

Everton impressed me after losing 10 points and still performing well in their matches and maintaining a good lead in the Premier League. I'm not sure what gave them morale the first time, but I believe it will be difficult to give them morale the second time. I feel bad for them, but they need to get through this and do well in the league; otherwise, they will be relegated, which will be even worse for them.

When he was still injured many fans expected him to recover quickly and give his best for Manchester City but he returned with little time given by Pep Guardiola he showed it all with goals and assists for his own club, so it will not be surprising if he returns will be very much awaited because it determines the big contribution to his club.

It's still hard to tell if Kevin De Bruyne will be okay, sometimes with unstable fitness they can get injured faster if they are too hard in the game, but we hope he doesn't get any more problems because with the second half of the season and the Champions League starting next month it means a lot to him.

Pep Guardiola and Kevin De Bruyne will be more cautious of his play on the pitch. They understand how important he is and what they've been missing since he went on the long injury; they would not want a repeat of that, so I assume they'll be cautious. Kevin De Bruyne has already made an impact in the team since his return from the long injury, and if he continues to play with them until the end of the season without further injury, Manchester City will be thriving.

Expected Goal (XG) Manchester City is still below the Liverpool Expected Goal (XG) until the 20th match.
Manchester City recorded 40.4 (xg) while Liverpool reached 44.9 (xg).

Manchester City's strength is very balanced and Liverpool are also no different from them, but the effects of Kevin de Bruyne and Haaland make their strength very felt. If the two Manchester City players are ready to perform 100%, yes, the Manchester City attack line is very strong and makes Manchester City opponents need to prepare a special strategy to stop them.

UCL is hard for Manchester City to defend the defending title because the team will be a competitor Man. City are classified as very strong from them such as PSG, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Not just Real Madrid, but the other two teams that I have mentioned are eager to lift the UCL Trophy this season with all the strengths they have.

It’s a bit paradoxical, but despite the fact that Liverpool is better in these statistics, City scored more goals than Liverpool, but has fewer points.
As for defending the title, it is always difficult, but when I think about it, I begin to fear that City will be able to do it - in fact, they have 5 games left before the title (I do not count the games with Copenhagen) and in 4 of them they can make a mistake (since pair games). But at least there is hope that Real and Bayern will be able to stop them because they overcame the crisis of last year when City largely took the title for free.

It depends on how Arteta manages his players. Until now Arsenal's only problem has been in terms of performance because they can play very well but on the other hand they can also turn bad so when Arteta cannot stabilise that and anticipate the problems that have long existed for them then Arsenal will not be able to do anything.
Arsenal in terms of performance at the beginning of the season was good but we know that when it came to the half of last season they had a problem of declining performance quickly and when that cannot be anticipated then the performance will be the same as in previous seasons.

I can't say exactly what is wrong with Gunners but I'm not sure if players is what they lack, they started with the same players in the beginning of the season and the same are available or is it that they are tired now and can't do much again. Saka barely perform as he was during the beginning of the season. Declan Rice was hype but I think he is a quality player that does his part in many Arsenal games but he is now flat in performance. With three loss in a row, I think it's time they make a great return but my problem is how they tend to do it with Liverpool that are so on form, that match will be tough.
The shortage of players is not an excuse because in the last few seasons they have been the most loyal or perhaps it can be said to be the most wasteful in bringing in players because in the EPL transfers that are always released data Arsenal are always in the top 3 clubs with the largest expenditure to buy players so that in this case players should not be the reason they have a performance that sometimes changes unexpectedly.
Currently, they still have the same problem where in fact the problem in terms of performance that goes up and down quickly like a roller coster has occurred in the last few seasons and until now Arteta still hasn't been able to cure it even though it has been filled with young players who have enough potential.

It would be very unfortunate for Everton if the 2nd punishment really happened to Everton, they have been working hard to collect points to get out of the relegation zone after the first point deduction but they have to suffer bad luck for the second time in 1 season. This is a heavy blow for Everton because they have violated the rules that have been set so they have to carry out this punishment after experiencing huge losses due to breaking the rules they have to receive an even more severe punishment. I think maybe this season Everton will end the relegation zone if the second punishment really happens before this season ends.
This is a serious problem for them because after all, the previous reduction alone they have been quite difficult even though their performance this season is still very good and it will be regrettable if this season they get another punishment again.

But indeed reflecting from before for Juventus something like this is still possible to happen, it's just that it's different from Everton because if in the end they get punished again now especially if it's a reduction in points then it can be said that they are more likely to be relegated.
Even though for the first ban they are still in the appeal stage but now the same charges have reappeared against Everton.

This decision is not final and Everton can appeal, I don't understand why a club can be punished twice in one season because last November Everton experienced it. Currently Everton is in 17th place with 17 points and if this points deduction is applied then Everton will lose 10 points meaning Everton has the chance to be relegated, we know this is very disappointing after what Everton did to get out of this red zone. Apart from Everton, there is also Nottingham Forest which experienced the same thing this problem will have an impact on their position in the standings. Meanwhile Burnley and Luton will take advantage of this situation I mean both teams will overtake Everton and Nottingham in the standings and for Sheffield United this has no impact because they only collected 9 points from 20 matches.
Well, the decision is not final yet and there is still possibility for Everton to get leniency because 10 points is very large number and it requires lot of effort to collect 10 points for this season for Everton.
If the decision is final and there is no relief that Everton can get then they will be the team that will be relegated next season and they will only play in the Championship League for one season if in the Championship League they succeed in becoming champions and are promoted again.
It just that there will be lot of disappointment for Everton and all fans because they have to see their proud team relegated from the Premier League, this will be tough season for Everton.
Juventus also experienced the same incident last season but they managed to recover and have now become strong team for Serie A.
Everton must be able to imitate what Juventus did, where after experiencing various difficulties and even being punished by points deductions, they were still able to recover for the next season and prove that they are one of the strongest team.
I think it is a move in a wrong direction for the FA to deduct 10 points from Everton at this point in time when the club is facing relegation battles, this will only dampen their confidence and also jeopardize everything they have worked for so far. True but im doubting it. I meant if everton has been also doing it in the previous sanction and the club kept get 10 points deduction. This is the main problem owned by the club. Everton needs to perform even better than before caused by it will be relegated if club will get another points deduction.
Everton is still playing pretty well this time and i think that it can make it happen to leave from the relegation zone two times in a row. It's so disgusting to see that these clubs got sanctions but since they were breaking the rules and they deserved it.

Everton can repeat the same performance like when it was able to leaving from the relegation zone. This is the key owned by everton and the club needs to perform even better than before. There will be no second chance for everton caused by we are getting even closer to the end of season.
The fans were disappointing it but since it was the decision from EPL and they can only accept it. This must be giving a lot of lesson for everton to avoid any possibility to break the rules.

The main mission owned by everton to stay much longer in the club without being relegated to the bottom. Everton needs to use everything owned by the club to defend its position.

Manchester City can always just fine without Haaland but their midfield especially KDB and Rodri as always been their backbone and this is the reason I will continue to say in order for Liverpool to win the league they have to be really consistent and avoid losing points since we know City are always at their best beginning of the year till season ends, which we can say it's an actual consistency that as given their Epl dominance
Irrespective of how strong and quality players Manchester City has, they will surely find it difficult to cope without Haaland because we all no how important Haaland is to Manchester City team and the efforts he normally puts on every of there matches so perhaps just like what Manchester City was facing when Kevin de Bruyne was on the injury that's exactly what Manchester City Will go through if Haaland is no longer with them but however they will get use to it but it will surely take time.

With the current performance of Manchester City now if they mange to enter the premier League first position I'm confident that they will surely win the league because ever since Kevin de Bruyne return from the injury Manchester City had been very consistent in performance.

So far Kevin made good impacts with his return for Manchester City and brings a lot of expectation that he will make more and bigger impacts in coming months. This is only expectation with an assumption that Kevin will not get injured in future. If his body is well, with his skills and talent, he will surely contribute big things for Manchester City not only in Premier League but also in Champions League.

Will he be well or get injured is a very big uncertainty for him and Manchester City. As a Premier League fan, I wish best for Kevin because with it, the title race between Manchester City and Liverpool will be more exciting.

The return of K. De Bruyne has had a huge impact on Man City. Even Man City's attack line has become sharp again thanks to the presence of De Bruyne on the field. I think Man City is lucky to have this player. Because even though he was absent for quite a long time, now he is starting to contribute well again when he returns. The title is not impossible for Man City. The problem is just waiting for Liverpool to make a mistake.

Kevin has always been the best for long and his return got people wondering if he still got the skills but I knew Kevin will come back strong, I think pep knew Kevin return will be so good that's why he didn't panic when they didn't perform good and now Kevin is back I believe every team will feel the impact, the match against Newcastle shows  that Manchester city might take the title but let's not judge yet cause even with Kevin and his performance the team can still go down if they fail to play and work as one.
Talking about another injury sounds funny cause I don't think Bruyne will experience another injury sooner or later, although some players suffer from such experience after their first or second injury but I believe Bruyne case will be different, let's just imagine if Bruyne experience another injury can the team stand strong or they'll keep playing each matchday without a win, just asking cause I observed their performance against Newcastle and everyone worked hard not just Bruyne but the reason why everyone is talking about Bruyne right now is because of his performance and he just got back from an injury and he managed to score a goal.
