West Ham lost against Championship team Bristol City, after playing a draw when playing at home to West Ham but West Ham had to admit defeat when they were guests at home to Bristol City, this is a little surprising but we also have to see overall that the West Ham team did not play at full strength in the FA Cup match.

And overall we can't say that West Ham have declined in performance, they are currently still in 6th position in the Premier League standings and the last 5 Premier League matches they have played have still had satisfactory results with 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat, so The FA Cup match cannot be a benchmark because West Ham was not focused so they did not field all their best players.

At the stage of the league there is no room for complacency among the top 4 teams any flop or drop in point would result to runner-up team taking over top position, though currently Liverpool is trying to consolidate their top position even in the absence of Mo.Salah, however Man City seem to be more formidable now with the return of star player and midfield maestro Kevin DeBruyne they team would be difficult to be defeated, even Arsenal though had dropped in form yet they shouldn't be completely written off thus would fight til finish, personally I can't predict the likely winner of the league because there are many more matches to be played.

Yesterday West Ham lost in the FA cup against a team playing in a much lower division than the Premier League and that for me was a really big surprise result.A team from the Premier League who happen to have won not long ago the Europa Conference League to lose to a team playing in a lower division.That shows that West Ham is truly in a volatile performance in the Premier League.

Changes in position from first to fifth can still occur because the difference in points is very small. Liverpool is under pressure from Manchester City with a difference of two points, a defeat suffered by Liverpool in the next match makes it lose first position if Manchester City manages to win the match in the same week. This season's EPL competition is more competitive than last season, Tottenham, who is in fifth place, has the same points as Arsenal, who is in fourth place. Arsenal must win the match in Week 21 to stay away from Tottenham and catch up with the points collected by Aston Villa.
Manchester City which is starting to find its best playing form, is trying to reach the top of the standings from Liverpool. The difference of two points with Liverpool makes the competition at the top of the standings even more exciting.

Haaland is a fantastic player. He has a lot of scoring ability. Last season we saw great performances from the Haaland-De Bruyne duo. The consistent good performances of these two players led Manchester City to dominate the Champions League and Premier League last season to win the title. However, due to the injury of these two players this season, City's performance is a bit slow. With De Bruyne back from injury, Haaland now faces injury. Talking about Aston Villa indeed last week they had just slipped because Everton was successfully to stole 1 point from them but i think it is not a big deal because at least their position still at top 4 on league standings and for their next opponent on Premier League at the end of this month Aston Villa will playing against Newcastle at their home ground Villa Park and this is good opportunity for Aston Villa to bounce back because Newcastle was not in the good shape and they were suffering 4 losing streak at Premier League besides that  i am sure Aston Villa had ambition want to gets revenge from Newcastle because in the first meeting they lost with big scores

Let's be Frank, KDB look like Haaland missing rib at Man City 
I won't be surprised if Haaland bag an hat trick in the game both of them will play after his return since he is such an hungry player for goals and needs more for a player of his calibre.

Liverpool will be having the hit now and of they can continue to be consistent and avoid losing or drawing matches then it's all good for them though this won't be easy but if they really want to win the league title, this is want they need because as it seems City are no longer sleeping or struggling while Arsenal has already lost the race to me

Everton and forest will be on a very difficult situation caused by they must be performing beyond their limit. The point deduction will be greatly impacting the performance from the club a lot. This is also making the situation even worst.
Let's wait how many points will be deducted from those clubs. With the placement of the hearing date, Manchester City is embarking on a new phase. We will be seeing this club to be punished too.
There are so many clubs were violating the rules and this is the main problem. There may probably a lot of cases to come soon. Manchester city and chelsea have been targeting by EPL

It is beyond my imagination to think that Manchester City might be stripped of its trophy because of their violation of the FFP regulations. There are so many possibilities to happen but im sure this is going to be a long term battle between EPL vs manchester city.
Everton may be so difficult to leave from the relegation zone. The club has very hard fixtures to come soon. Before Everton can confront all of them, it is necessary for the club to be thoroughly prepared.

Yes, De Bruyne is like the most important part of Manchester City because he has almost the same intelligence as Haaland and even though De Bruyne is only a midfielder, his talent for finishing is always precise and on the one hand De Bruyne is one of the players who has strong chemistry with Haaland So the last few matches without the presence of these two players made Manchester City look bad.
After De Bruyne returned everything got better and we are just waiting for the happy news after Haaland arrives and we will look again at the competition for first place and I am sure that the return of Haaland and De Bruyne can get rid of Liverpool and can even have a big chance again to get the title in the champions league .

However, if you look at it as a whole since the start of the season, with Newcastle's decline compared to last season, I think there are quite a lot of things they need to improve if they want to compete again at the top like they did last season.

ManCity know that facing the end of the season they must immediately appear aggressive when Kevin de Bruyne is a big advantage and are also required not to relax. For West Ham, this team is actually quite similar to Aston Villa and I don't have any more hopes for this team.

Aston Villa only suddenly rise in this season and join top four and it will be very challenging for them to maintain good performances and defend their position in top four. Arsenal, Tottenham are two biggest competitors with Aston Villa with current table because Aston Villa have only 3 points more than Arsenal and Tottenham. They have same total matches like Tottenham but already played one match more than Arsenal. This means if Arsenal win their match, they will have same total points as Aston Villa.

Other clubs behind those three clubs will have many works to do to reach to these three clubs and I honestly don't consider they are big threats for Aston Villa.

But if judged based on mistakes in violating the Premier League fair play financial rules, Everton deserves this punishment and not only did they experience reduction of up to 10 points, but Everton also suffered loss of up to £105 million.
This is that will really be burdensome for Everton, regarding their problem of being on the verge of relegation, it is not matter for the FA because anyone who makes mistake will definitely receive the same punishment.
Don't we remember when Ronaldo made mistake against Everton fans and he was declared guilty by the FA and was banned from playing in two Premier League matches and given fine, this was truly measured FA decision.
The FA will not give too much punishment if there is no fatal mistake, I think Everton must be able to accept everything and they must be able to get up and fight in order to escape the relegation zone this season.

Everton is fairly strong team and they have in players they can really rely on so there is an opportunity for Everton to rise to the top so they can remain in the Premier League competition next season.

KeLVIN PHILIPS failed to develop and improve because he was rarely given the trust to play. a player if he rarely plays his performance will tend to decline and play worse. that's why even star class players if they are rarely played at the club and their national team will not be called up to strengthen their country's national team by their coach. so the developing player is given confidence by the coach to play even as a substitute. but regularly must continue to play to hone his skills.

I don't think its because Newcastle appears weak, but because Manchester City performance has started to improve. I never said that he wants what's bad for Manchester City. Till date, Pep Guardiola remains the best manager in the world like it or not.

I hope Kalvin Philips finally leaves completely, the game against Aston Villa was a chance to play him as Rodri was absent but Pep Guardiola came up with so much to say during the press!!
He's been getting results so who am I to criticize him? I don't think I want to see City winning the league though.

When a player gets signed by Manchester City, automatically he's entitled to winning significant titles and adding crucial numerous titles to his archives. Manchester City have awakened for the EPL title race and I just hope Liverpool gives them hard-time as they should because the EPL long race is definitely not easy. Why will you be tagging the Manchester City headcoach, Pep Guardiola as a greedy coach? He just wants the very best for the team and we shouldn't dare to criticized him rather points fingers to the player signed, Kelvin Philips who failed to develop and improve his stats in matches.

James Madison could do some of them creation, creativity and assisting done by Kevin De Bruyne, but it's disrespectful to talk about players under contract for another club.
The sad truth was is that, Pep Guardiola was greedy, he shouldn't have brought in a player like Kalvin Philips if he wasn't gonna use him , then why buy him? So he could prevent him from being signed by his rivals? Anyways, Kalvin Philips has the treble attached to his name without much stress he was more like a ball boy for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City.

During the transfer window, it should have been a chase for James Madison who also had a lesser fee.

There'll only be issues when Kevin De Bruyne gets Injured, he has so much influence off and in the pitch as we've seen for the past few months.
