Guardiolas Manchester eis suffering some heavy set back which obviously is telling in them and their Liverpool opponents didn't exercise any pity in them as reflected by the statistics which includes the goal on targets,
Everyone is frustrated with how Man City is doing right now. In fact, the boos and jeers from Liverpool fans in the field towards Pep also sounded very painful. However, that's how it is, Pep responded to it casually. And even, after the match was over, he also said that in the future, it would be much better and they would rebuild their club strongly. After all, they have won various trophies and they can definitely do it.

I like Pep’s response in the interview after the match they loss to Liverpool, it shows some sense of professionalism in him as a coach. He’s really going to pass this phase too in my opinion and all this are part of the processes. You can’t always get it right always and whenever you face some challenges in the league, it’s only telling you to adjust and learn from those that you’re already missing. They are a great team and even now I can’t really say they’re out of the title race already, anything can happen at anytime. It’s much harder to maintain the upper position on the standings than moving up the standings, so it’s still possible things turns out for them better in the future.

Quote
Do you agree with what Pep said? Or is it just a defense? On the one hand, it is a fact that Pep and Man City have won many trophies, especially the EPL. However, it is undeniable that Man City's performance is getting worse and this is a big problem, and this is a fact, with an unstoppable series of defeats.

They are still battling themselves throughout this period, they never knew they’ll come a time they’ll be getting series of defeat like this which is really affecting their overall performance and confidence in the league games. The premier league is really not a place you can come and dominate all the time, you’ll have to face many challenges and you should be able to pass through that phase and become better than you use to be.

Apparently this is a big blow to Guardiola's ego, so he is trying to justify it with his past achievements. At the moment, it looks like he'll have to turn to the past more than once to console himself. Will he have enough strength to work until the end of the season and make a real restructuring of the team? It is difficult to say. He always worked in hothouse conditions and when he had real competition (with Mourinho) he quickly lost it and ran away.

Whether this is a coincidence or not, the decline in Manchester City's performance is also in conjunction with the decline in Real Madrid's performance as we know that these two teams are rivals in large leagues like UCL but this time even in their respective leagues it is very questionable to get their victory.
He said that he had gone through a lot with Manchester City was as proof that he had the ability, with other implied messages that we could read he needed time to change again, and could rise again from this bad time, some of his strategies were very old -fashioned And the players are not so creative in building attacks, they seem to lose confidence on the field.

Don't judge too early, Amorim still needs time to prove whether he is successful or not in handling the Manchester United team, now it is still too early to judge.
However, it must be admitted that if you look at the 3 matches that Amorim has gone through, he seems to be slowly finding his best performance for the Manchester United team and this week's big win against Everton will be important enough to improve the mentality and confidence of the Manchester United players.
Obviously, not so much time has passed and this league is not over yet. There are still enough matches to see how he will strengthen himself and his team in this league. But he has to prove himself in this job by working hard and playing with good performance. I won't judge it now, I will judge it after Manchester United's next 5 games. That this will really enable the Manchester United team to improve in this league and join the ranks of the title. If you've found it to be good in these 3 matches, it'll be worth the effort. Manchester United players also need to play well and work hard to improve themselves and they will become even better.

At least, from the three matches that have been passed I can say, Manchester United still get opponents that are at least below their level. Thus, Manchester United still managed to get  results without defeat and that is still good for them and also Amorim who managed to make Manchester United continue their unbeaten trend after Ruud van Nistelrooy. Although indeed, it is still too early to say they will succeed completely, because they also still have not gotten a difficult opponent. But maybe,  for the next match will  be a real challenge for Amorim, because Manchester United will play away against Arsenal. At least, because Arsenal has a good trend lately, then it is a big match that will certainly  be a difficult match for them.

Defense or not, but a coach or anyone will definitely tell the success they got before when they played not according to what was desired. That will be a weapon that they always carry, both in front of the media and in front of supporters.
However, supporters or management will not see their achievements in the past, because what they will see is how they perform now. If we only talk about past success, then we will not see coaches who are fired for failing in one season.
However, it is legitimate for coaches to do it to defend themselves, but it must also be accompanied by better results in the next match.
Pep has the right to defend himself from Liverpool fans who chanted him badly. I don't even think it's something wrong. He was a human and can losses anything. It's normal when he showed his achievement to defend him from being chanted. It's also his level of success that none can achieve it. Nothing last forever.

Manchester United, on the other hand, has already started to enter the recovery phase with its new manager.Manchester United scored 4 goals against Everton and scored 4 goals in a match for the first time in 6-7 months.Rashford and Zirkzee scored 2 goals in the match and United managed to defeat their opponent comfortably. They may not be champions this season, but I think they will fight for the top 4 until the last week of the league.
Chelsea, on the other hand, defeated Aston Villa, the out of form team of the last weeks, 3-0 and got 3 points.Unai Emery's team has been out of form in recent weeks and has been struggling to win. With this defeat, they have not won in 5 games in the league. That's why they have fallen behind in the championship race.

I think what Guardiola said after the defeat is true, we know he has brought a lot of changes at Manchester City and apart from Ferguson of course we can say that he is the most successful coach in the Premier League so far, the insult from Liverpool fans over the defeat of Manchester City I don't think there is any reason at all because after all Manchester City will not sack Guardiola just because of the failure of one season in winning the Premier League,  I see the answer to the insult as a concrete proof by showing 6 fingers which as the number of EPL trophies he  get so far, but I salute Guardiola, although the criticism and ridicule from the opposing fans may have hurt him very much, but he responded to it with a smile and positive thinking.

Even though it's too early to start making predictions, my money is still on liverpool winning the premier league once again, Its no surprise that they're one of (if not) the best team in europe and the moment. Yes, I'm a liverpool fan so my opinion / prediction is a little more bias. Manchester City and Chelsea would be  big contenders considering they  have been adding more players to their squad since the transfer window open.

@trofo, I'm rooting for liverpool to win their second consecutive premier league title .
Yes you are right, for me any club can win the premier league but I don't want Manchester city to win the premier league again
Yes the premier league contenders of Chelsea Arsenal and probably man City will be a tough rivals in other to win the premier league

That is true because in reality it is like that and so far Manchester City has played seven matches with very bad results lately because six of them ended in defeat and one more draw in the UCL match. So I think the Manchester City coach is currently experiencing a little unusual pressure so that it has forced him to find a better way to get back on the winning track in the Premier League competition and also in the UCL competition. In the next match in the Premier League this week, Manchester City will host Nottingham Forest who has also looked quite good and has managed to occupy the top six in the Premier League standings. So Manchester City is expected to be able to win so that their series of defeats can end.

Amorim has found a good composition for MU; he's put Rashford in the right position now, Rashford went crazy and created a lot of chances before creating the 1st goals. While Bruno created the movement to outwit the opponent and provide opportunities for the attacker to stumble on the front. This is what the fans want; MU has now developed an offensive strategy with accurate passing.

There are so many big changes were implemented to be effective. Amorim was brave to rotate the players, and success winning the match. I was previously skeptical when I saw Zirkzee, Mainoo, and Mazraoui as starters because those names do not look familiar to me. But apparently, it runs very effectively create score on 1st half.

I would like to see them sustain these tempo for longer period of time before I can say this is the right composition for them. Rashford was outstanding with those two goals and the combination of him and Joshua Zirkzee  at the front line in that encounter was a good one.

Yeah I kind of agree with you about some players that where not looking familiar, so it's more like Amorim is trying something new by bringing them in, however The four outstanding players for me where Amad Diallo, Joshua Zirkzee, Bruno Fernandez and Marcus Rashford, especially the experience and creativity Bruno Fernandez brings to the game makes it a bit easier for the front liners to score.

Steve Cooper the coach of Leicester City got fired from this team after the game they lost against Chelsea which a 2-1 result and they decided to stop working with this Welish coach. The performance of Leicester City was not good with Cooper which made them get him fired because they were even about to get relegated with this coach.
Now the good thing about Leicester City after Cooper is they hired Van Nistelrooy who left Manchester United recently.
The performance of Nistelrooy was not bad at all and that's why Nistelrooy signed a contract with Leicester City until 2027.

I am happy that Ruud Van Nistelrooy found a club that immediately brought him here in the Premier League. because I am still very curious about Ruud's coaching after he succeeded in making a big surprise at Man United by bringing Man United to a positive trend during his short coaching period. And I don't think it's impossible that Ruud will also bring Leicester City to a better performance. It's just that we can't have high hopes this time. because we have to remember that the squad that Leicester has is not as good as the squad that Man United has.
I wanted Ruud Van Nisterlrooy to become Ruben Amorim's assistant coach at Manchester United, but Ruben Amorim made it clear to Manchester United management that he will be coming to Manchester United with his coaching crew from Sporting Lisbon, and since Manchester United management wants him at Manchester United, they had no choice but to accept his terms and conditions, so I was happy when I heard that Leicester City management wants Ruud Van Nisterlrooy to become their head coach. I know Leicester has won the Premier League title in the past, but they are a club that cannot compete for the Premier League title or finish in the four in the Premier League table, so I believe Ruud Van Nistelrooy will try his best to make sure that Leicester City remains in the Premier League.

Even Bruno now have all the time to relax and play well and no longer running around all positions to salvage situations and ending up been stressed at the end of the day, I once mentioned that the positioning of this players by their former manager due to his indifference with them was a problem and see now with amorim rightly positioning them even rashford who wasn't really productive is gradually finding himself and soon would be restored to the one we know during his first season at Manchester United, Minoo is one person I have really admired his playing style the way positions and make good distribution I believe he's going to get even better under amorim. Zrikzee isn't looking familiar because he wasn't given enough play time to really exhibit his abilities in the era of ten hag but I think more often we will be seeing him now with the performance he's shown so far.

What do we expect when a good strategist is the manager of a football club, this is a good indication that Manchester United has been on lapses based on the continued negligence to do the right by their previous manager, I think the new manager is a good coach that has discovered that puting the players in their rightful position will make them give their best to the club, this is how to know a good coach, Amorim left sporting, now we can see whats happening to the the club, they lost to arsenal in the UEFA champions league and again to one of the small club which is not their equals that's to say there has been tactical work been done by Amorim that keeps his team on fire to get a good result at all time and with what he just started in Manchester United, I think such gestiure has started playing out in Manchester United.

Watching Manchester United play on Sunday made me to conclude that there is a of kind rebranding going on, the players in the field were very zealous and ready to get more goals from their rival that's the Spirit, I think with this performance that has been shown by Manchester united, there match with arsenal may not be easy for arsenal to break through easily, i have look at the odd, it seems like a deceit to me, anyone making selection against Manchester united ijthag match should do it with caution, though lets hope this fire continues like this.

Leicester is in a difficult situation, I see it as a risky decision for Van Nistelrooy to accept the offer to become a coach in such a team, because after Manchester United he left a very good impression when he was a caretaker coach. Leicester is too weak to expect that he will be able to achieve such good results with them, but since he is currently out of work, of course he wanted to try to work with another club from the Premier League.

City lost to Liverpool, the worst expectations came true for Guardiola, and after this defeat they dropped out of the top 4, it seems that no one expected this.

I’m surprised how many people love to watch Manchester City struggle and lose games this season. You fully support Liverpool in their quest to end Manchester City’s dominance even though you are not a Liverpool fan. I think for most people they just want to see the English Premier League more competitive again. I don’t think Manchester City would lose to Liverpool today. I thought they would make a big comeback in the second half but they lost to Arne Slot and his team.
I'm one of the football faithfuls who are happy to see Manchester City's struggles this season and that's because the English champions was beginning to make the English Premier League a boring and predictable league. They've dominated too long and I think it's time to unseat them as the champions.
I want a very competitive league where a team will not dominate more than two seasons not a league where a team will dominate for four seasons and still counting. Pep Guardiola is a great manager no doubt but he needs to be humbled before he starts thinking he's more than a human.
Guardiola is a coach who has brought a new perspective to football. I think he is a great chance for football in the world. When you think about these, the successes in his career at Manchester City are of course more meaningful. We are now seeing Manchester City lose in the Premier League. This is an exciting development in the league. Many people did not expect such a performance from Manchester City at the beginning of the year. The points they lost one after another have pushed them away from the top. I think they will recover soon.

On the highly anticipated match between Liverpool and Manchester City, Liverpool comes victorious. Liverpool was able to create many good attacks while it was difficult for Manchester City to get past Liverpool defense. Gakpo scored early with an excellent cross for Salah and Salah doubled the lead with a penalty in 2nd half. This also marks the 1/3 of the matches both teams plays on the league. With it, Liverpool solidifies its position on the table getting a good 11 points lead from every other teams. With 2/3 of league remaining, I don't see any team challenging Liverpool.
As predicted before the match started, Liverpool will dominate the match because Manchester City are not in their best form. The result was as expected, Liverpool managed to win and extend Man City poor record and make them even more solid at the top of the Premier League standings. Mo Salah became Liverpool hero in victory by scoring one assist and one goal from the penalty spot. This was a consecutive defeat experienced in the EPL and they were knocked out of the top four.
Even when Manchester City is in their best form in the Premier League, they always find it difficult to beat Liverpool at Anfield, so with their current poor performance in the league, I was expecting less from Manchester City when they played against Liverpool at Anfield yesterday. With Manchester City’s recent struggles in all competitions, everyone sees Liverpool as the favorite in the match because they are consistent in winning their matches in all competitions, and they even beat Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, who are playing better than Manchester City. Liverpool is now leading Manchester City with 11 points in the league table, which has put them in a better position of winning the Premier League title.
Liverpool are indeed in their best form at the moment so a 2-goal win over Manchester City at Anfield is not a big surprise because they were favored before and Liverpool really succeeded in proving the predictions of many people, the match against Manchester City went as it should have been as predicted.

And Manchester City is in the spotlight not only because of the defeat against Liverpool but also because they could not rise from the slump after several matches and what is even more surprising is that this is the worst period since the beginning of Pep Guardiola's arrival as Manchester City coach, so there is a lot of criticism at the moment towards Manchester City because of that and they are also slowly starting to be eliminated from the competition for the title even though this season's journey is still quite long but Manchester City is already 11 points behind now and their performance is very doubtful so I also believe now that Manchester City will not be able to defend the title again this season.

Manchester City which was once a club feared by most powerful European football clubs has become a clown this season, they were totally outplayed by Liverpool yesterday without creating any real good scoring opportunity and instead they were forced into defending against waves and waves of attacks launched by Liverpool throughout the whole game. It seems that defending champions Manchester City season has ended way earlier than expected for their title bid after just 13 games played in the English Premier League.
