For those of you who believe that Rodri’s absence is not the cause of Manchester City struggles this season, you can google the stats of how many games City has lost with Rodri on the pitch. I don’t think there is any other issue with the players or the manager that’s affecting their performance in the last two months other than injury crisis. I think it’s funny that pundits are giving Prp Guardiola coaching advice. Manchester City just need to spend money in the next transfer window and get the players they need to rejuvenate the squad and help the team rebuild.

But if you look at Man City's performance in this month and how their opponent, Liverpool, I already thought that in that match, Liverpool and Man City have not been able to end their losing streak. and if you look at the match statistics, Man City can only excel in ball possession, the rest, they are even less able to recognize the ball to enter the attack line and can be immediately controlled by Liverpool. Just look, Liverpool's attack is even 2x more than Man City's. and even, Man City only had 2 chances of shots on target and failed. Moreover, Liverpool also got 1 lucky chance for the penalty kick, this is completed.

and in fact, it hasn't stopped yet, this is only in the Premier League series, not to mention the EFL and UCL.

Source: Man City
Guardiolas Manchester eis suffering some heavy set back which obviously is telling in them and their Liverpool opponents didn't exercise any pity in them as reflected by the statistics which includes the goal on targets, the attempts and even the possession all put together and they are still ahead of city in this fixture, Manchester City is really missing their injured players including the world best player they once had in the pitch before injury took him away for the while. For Liverpool it's been a series of brilliance across all leagues appearance.

I don't see City in a position of taking over the lead from Liverpool because no one knows when they will be back go form.
The gap difference between Manchester City and Liverpool is increasing everyweek. I don’t think Manchester City will be able to cover it up, and Pep Guardiola doesn’t even have a solution to the current Manchester City problem yet, so I am not even expecting their performance to improve soon. Arsenal has taken over Manchester City's second position, currently, Manchester City is in 5th position, which is really a bad one. I don’t think anyone will believe that Manchester City will be in their current position, I don’t think Manchester City will be able to win the Premier League title this season, all they should be fighting for is for them to end the season in the top 4.

3 days before the game against Liverpool, Guardiola said the following:

Pep Guardiola:Changing our entire squad? I don't completely agree”.

Three months ago we won Premier League, we were in the FA Cup final and we arrived in the Champions League quarter-finals, defeated by playing extraordinary vs Real Madrid”.

It's the same team!”.

This is Guardiola's mistake, he thinks that since Manchester City won the league last season, then they would have the same performance this season, but he is forgetting that in the last few seasons Liverpool were not doing well, Chelsea were not doing well. Only Arsenal were doing well, but Arsenal are not a very strong team, so much so that in European competitions they have been a disaster in the sense of not being able to get very far, so in my opinion Manchester City won the last 2 Premier League because they were lucky that many other Premier League teams were weak. But this season the other teams are better and he does not want to admit that his squad is weaker.

Looks like season over for Manchester City.
1st time in a decade I think that they lost 4 of the latest 5 games in the premier League.

The lead of Liverpool is amazing right now, is the season already over with the winner?

Pretty sure the odds for them winning the title are very low now.
I think Manchester City should now focus on creating a turnaround in performance and start thinking about how to compete for a slot in the top four of the standings until the end of the season. Liverpool are already 11 points ahead at the top of the standings after 13 games, it is very excessive if Manchester City now talk about retaining the trophy. All of Pep Guardiola players look tired, they are struggling to cope with the pressure of Liverpool game.

Liverpool chances of winning the trophy this season are now higher, with Manchester City current performance declining. Arsenal also do not look as tough as last season, all of which makes it easier for Liverpool. Chelsea have indeed improved rapidly under Enzo Maresca, but they still easily lose points when facing other top teams. Rodri injury is not the main reason for their decline, even though he is an important player in the squad.

I thought it would be a tough match but Manchester United won very comfortably. Everton could not push their opponents at all and conceded too many goals. When a new manager comes, there is usually a good change in the teams. Ruben Amorim's arrival also had a positive effect on the team.

Their performance in the upcoming matches is very important because the team needs to be able to do what Ruben Amorim wants. We will see in the transfer period whether the squad is sufficient for the manager. Being the manager of Manchester United is not easy because the fans want stability and success from the team.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this match. Manchester United have proved me right that Erik Ten Hag was the problem all along. The match was interesting to watch as it showcased an excellent performance of Ruben Amorim and his team. This victory is a testament of Ruben amorim's impact at the club.as he has started to gradually instill a winning mentality in his players. If Manchester United can maintain this level of performance, I am sure they will be able to get back to winning ways and even challenge for the title.

So far this season, my team Arsenal has never started it’s winning streak because of the injuries we suffered in the beginning this season, but as it stands now, the team has regained its balance because almost all the important injured players are back on form, and this is the beginning of the title race for Arsenal because Liverpool can drop points anytime just like Manchester City because any team have to face some hard times e erg seasons and Arsenal has faced theirs, and Manchester City is also facing the same problem currently.
As an Arsenal fan, I haven’t given up yet because I am on optimistic that Liverpool will also drop points and Arsenal might take the lead soon.
Yes, The season is young and Arsenal’s core getting back to their best can only help team and fans. With the competition at the very top of the table, consistency will be important to keeping the title challenge alive. In every game the team has to work hard enough in which we must believe that we will achieve the desired results. This is true of all big teams and means Arsenal can carry on moving forward as they travel. Nothing is impossible to achieve with the fans support and the collective spirit we keep.

Manchester City had a good run. I think everyone has realized how critical Rodri is for Manchester City. They wouldn’t be struggling if Rodri was around. It's obvious that Rodri deserves to be the Best Player in the world. In all the animosity people have for Manchester City, I think deep down they prefer Liverpool to win the League instead of Arsenal. If it was Arsenal leading the table standings, I think the reaction from fans would be very different. Even the Manchester City players didn’t look that angry after the game, I think they find comfort in the thought that it will be Liverpool winning the league and not Arsenal.

I’m surprised how many people love to watch Manchester City struggle and lose games this season. You fully support Liverpool in their quest to end Manchester City’s dominance even though you are not a Liverpool fan. I think for most people they just want to see the English Premier League more competitive again. I don’t think Manchester City would lose to Liverpool today. I thought they would make a big comeback in the second half but they lost to Arne Slot and his team.

The truth is, there was no way this current Manchester city team(without Rodri), could defeat a very good Liverpool side. I actually knew Liverpool was going to take all 3 points, and surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I had expected like the one against Tottenham. With this recent crisis, I think Rodri deserves to be the highest paid in the team, considering how his team has been suffering from his absence. As it stands, I think the title is still very much opened, considering the fact that the second half of the season can be a different story entirely. We all know what Manchester city is capable of. We've seen pep snatching the league with just a little margin. We've seen them do crazy things towards the end. I will just advise all teams, especially the ones fighting for the title, to buckleup and take as many points as they can, because when pep returns, there is no stopping them.

Manchester City is unrecognizable. How did they get like this in a few weeks? I still don't understand. Against Liverpool, they couldn't even get a shot on target for 80 minutes. What happened to this goal machine team. It can't be explained only by Rodri's injury. The team has no goal scorer except Haaland. When he can't score either, City show us such barren matches. 4 defeats in a row, the team is mentally broken this season. I really can't understand why this is happening just when Pep has renewed his contract. When they should have been more ambitious, they let loose.
It’s a pity for them how the absence of a single player will affect the stability of the whole team. The absence of Rodri has really affected the performance of Manchester City and it is almost as if without him they cannot play well again. I think it is because the midfielders are not creative enough and the wingers are not as prolific as they used to be, i am sure Guardiola would miss Mahrez and Sterling and all the wingers he used to have back in the days because Doku, Nunez, Grealish and Savinho are all not productive they don’t take risks and take on defenders well enough.

It’s a disgrace that City couldn’t create chances and were playing as if they are a bottom table team, they barely caused any harm to the Liverpool defense. Losing 4 premier league games on a row is really bad and i think the team is unstable mentally but i like it, i like the way Guardiola is struggling so he would know that the pressure in the league and that the premier league is not an easy league.
I think it is more than a lie if we should all believe that one man absent in a squad like Manchester City, is the reason why Manchester City is losing their match.
From what I know about Manchester City, Pep Guardiola doesn't rely on one player to win most of his matches. One man doesn't make him win or lose a match because there are many quality players in his squad he can utilize.

Have we forgotten that all this set of players who are not playing to their full potential are players who won last season's PL trophy, that made us think highly of Pep Guardiola for being able to make use of his second eleven to win matches.

This poor performance of Manchester City is a clear indication that the players are all weak, they need some rest to be able to continue again. If it is in the past, how dare Liverpool win Manchester City comfortably without breathing through their nose with the same players they won against today.

Everyone is just surprised with the way Manchester City has been playing. Manchester City hasn’t been able to win any match in their last four Premier League matches played, even when they play against weak clubs. I don’t really know what’s wrong with Manchester City, I expected pep Guardiola to fix everything after the international break, but there is no difference in the way Manchester City has been playing.

Manchester City's performance was just so poor in the match. They played the first half and had just one goal attempt and zero shots on target. It was a surprising thing to me, Manchester City's goal scoring machine, which is Haaland, was not even active on the field, and I'm surprised that Foden has failed Manchester City also, he can’t be found when Manchester City needs him most. Liverpool didn’t play anything special in the match also, if they had played well, they would have scored more than 2 goals in the match. Seriously, the match was just so boring to me.

This one is definitely a surprise for all, its now as if the whole Manchester clubs are now passing through some major changes because Manchester City in particular has never being found of losing so many points especially due to the close of the year but I won't he surprised though if they were able to pull off something magical with such performance

Chelsea may not be able to get a multi-goal win against Aston Villa. I think they will be happy even if they beat Villa. Aston Villa is a difficult team and it will not be easy to take 3 points from them. It will be a fierce fight for a team aiming for the top of the league. Aston Villa will also try to beat them. I think we will have a great match with fierce competition.

Not so difficult afterall, Chelsea aren't scared of small gems. It's only the bigger teams that have being giving Chelsea a tough time to defeat but I think, with the way Chelsea has been playing, it won't take long before the coach impact some winning mindset into the players against big teams and stop being scared of them. Cole Palmer has being such a great player for Chelsea, without him I don't think Chelsea could be playing so well to give him more strength .Cole Palmer in just few seasons playing for Chelsea everything they paid for him has already been recovered and now Chelsea is the one benefiting from everything's that he's doing for the club.

You are thinking this way because you think that Liverpool will not loose any games. I do not think the entire season will go smoothly for them, they will face some setbacks that will challenge the tactical brilliance of the coach. Barcelona and Manchester city are currently facing theirs, Liverpool will be lucky if they finish this season without any sort of setback. Setbacks can be injury to key players like Salah, that can affect their attack, reducing their chances, or injury to their key defenders etc. setbacks could be anything.

Liverpool - 1.57

Arsenal - 3.75

Manchester City - 9.00

Chelsea - 17.00

I love this trend!
It looks like City are out of the race and we can't worry about them.
The only thing that surprised me is why Chelsea's chances were worsened after this round where they soundly thrashed Aston Villa? Plus they have absolutely identical statistics to Arsenal.
I wonder how Slot/Liverpool will cope with the pressure? If they don't win the title from this position it will go down in history and eclipse all of Arsenal's "achievements" in this regard.

Firstly this I will not rule out Manchester City out in this competition except the situation for them gets worse, for me Manchester City have bounce back numerous times from this position before even though the gap now is more, Manchester city as of last two to three season bounce back to win the league with after Liverpool had take an 8 points lead then and the same thing happen with Arsenal last two season and they came out on top. Although this current season Manchester City injury crisis have actually not made them look like those that will win the league so I somehow like the odd of clubs, Arsenal with their contenders knowledge will be the closest to bounce on that table should Liverpool faces anything going forward which to me would be an injury to their main players like Van Dyke and Salah.

As for Chelsea they definitely are ahead of Manchester city on the table now but having more chances or odds to win the league is something I will agree on because Chelsea even though are much much better under Maresca are still lacking traits that I will qualify them as genuine contenders

Arsenal is one of the teams that have to be most careful because basically when Arsenal are on a roll they are dangerous, they can run over anyone and that is why Liverpool and Arsenal were struggling last season, this Arsenal team is very good and they should be careful, I personally do not dare to give a prediction about the possible results of the P1 final, it is very difficult because it may be that City does many things at the end and remains in first place as happened last season, I like what Arsenal is doing, but I think they have to get used to continuing to win.

Underestimate- nothing
I see some persons commenting on the Liverpool Manchester city game and they are saying Liverpool  managed to win Manchester city and i begin to wonder if this persons ever watched the game or they are just talking based of assumptions or with resentments probably because hey aren't a Liverpool fan because i believe if you had seen the game then you wouldn't be saying such seeing the brilliance exhibited by Liverpool and the inconsistencies around Manchester city at this point another thing is to seeing the fact that Liverpool did played so well they should be seen and considered deserving of the victory they got but city didn't perform well enough to consider Liverpool lucky.

I don't think the game is luck for Liverpool to win Manchester City it was a good game and even without watching the game it will be very easy to be able to predict who is going to win because we all know how both of them are performing currently and Manchester City are actually struggling and Liverpool is in there form so who do you expect to win if not Liverpool. And you know how Manchester City fans are very awful when they make comments about other clubs, I love were they found there self now and even arsenal is doing better than them, and they have condemned arsenal of been a weakling and who is the weakly now if not them.

Salah is a lovable player and scored the penalty and gave one assist and if you look at he should be the man of the match and salah have putting a lot of effort in building the club and he is alway favoured, and if they say Liverpool is not consistent then which club is, arsenal and Chelsea have the same point and Manchester City are currently on the fifth position, and Liverpool is going actually since they already have 34 points and there aim is to win.

It's been a while United scored four goal without conceding any. The reds did very well today and it's good to see Zirkzee on the scoresheet after going many matches without a goal. Rashford also had a great game, scored a brace and has now scored in back to back EPL matches under the new coach. I hope this new system favours the strikers and brings the best out of them. One player that standout in today's game is Amad Diallo, he was a real threat to everton defenders and I wonder why ETH was benching him all this while and choosing Antony over him. He was a beauty to watch, had two assists to his name and I'm surprised the referee didn't award a penalty when he was brought down towards the end of the game.

After Ruben Amorim was appointed as Manchester United boss, he said in an interview that Manchester United under him will play with an identity and just after three games, I think the club now have a new playing pattern that's bringing out the best from them. It's been long Manchester United had a convincing performance like they did today against Everton.
Amad Diallo delivered a man of the match performance in that game which is very unlikely of him. I think Diallo have immensely benefited from the new style of football at Manchester United. Hopefully, he continues to be at his best.
