I was thinking that Liverpool will destroy Southampton with loads of goals but I didn't see that happen. Southampton showed an outstanding strength in that match which ended in 1-1 at half time and from second half Southampton scored first and were ready to win the match if not of the intervention of Mohamed Salah who scored two consecutive goals, one of which was a penalty, to give Liverpool the victory. I noticed that Southampton are getting better as the season progresses despite that they are at the bottom of the table. They play very well but luck have not really been on their side. I think there is something that can be adjusted in the team that will make them very strong and very difficult to win.

Southampton is the red light in the Premier League, but when you go through their results this season and last season as well, they have had some very close encounters not only with lower ranked teams, but also with the strong ones. Man City only won 1-0 against them in the Etihad Stadium, I think that says a lot and when you evaluate the statistics, it is quite impressive what Southampton has done against Man City. Close game against Liverpool, close game against Man City, close game against Newcastle and if you now see where they are standing, it almost feels wrong. It is not that they have a chance to dominate these games, but you would think that they are much less competitive given their point count and goal count.

Onana's performance is applaudable, he's gradually developing into something better, if only he had more support from his defence, he would've been on his 6th cleansheet currently, he made several saves and if not for him, Manchester United would've lost that game in the 1st half, it's so encouraging and I wish some players would develope better like him under Amorin. Manchester United really struggled yesterday and their Midfield was porus at some point the ball kept going backwards cause they lacked someone creative that would come back and collect the ball then distribute to the attackers to create a chance for a goal, I don't think Amorin has got his best 11 yet it would take him about more matches and the fitness of several players to discover the potential of the entire squad and select his best 11, also I think some lazy players need to leave, the coach should work on that. Anyways, they'll currently need more time to adjust into Amorin's tactics.

Amorim is busy looking for new players to add up to the team so that he can build a team that will be very strong to win the title in the nearest future. Both teams took the match so personal yesterday but they couldn't get extra goals after scoring one goal each. Ipswich was lucky to have that equalizer with a deflection if not they might not have scored any goal.

The match was going towards a draw but it was M. Salah who scored the 3rd goal for Liverpool and they won this match. I placed my bet on Liverpool and before that goal i thought I would lose my bet but thankfully Salah Stikes for Liverpool. However the match was a thriller and if you watched it live, keep you entertained throughout the game.
When you see the complete stats of this match, then you will know that Liverpool deserves this win.

Liverpool players played well in this match. But I would say that we expected such a performance from Southampton players. I thought Southampton would play defensively. I think you are not only making the mistake of Amorim first match been yesterday but also about Ten Hag’s first match. Ten Hag first premier league match or rather his first competitive match for Manchester United was at home to Brighton were he was defeated 4-0 and then went ahead to getting whooped 4-0 away to Brentford the next match. Liverpool was the third match and his first win though. But still this first matches doesn’t guarantees the success of a club.

Amorim arrived 3rd of November when the team had left for international break and this game was his first, I don’t think this first game was to be used to justify this team. I see this team playing better football with this manager but there is going to be a restructure in the squad, many players will definitely be out when this revolution starts.

Having them think about focusing on the Premier League more than the Champions League, is the last thing they can think of doing now they are in form to win any match that comes their way. However, it's not a bad idea if they think of winning both matches in both leagues because the two matches are very crucial for them to keep topping both league tables

The match between Southampton and Liverpool was intense. I was really surprised that Southampton were able able to put up such a great performance in that match. I haven't seen such an effort from them since the begining of the season. It was just unfortunate for them that with such a determined effort, they did not get even a point as a reward. I personally have a problem with man united not retaining Ruud van Nistelrooy -- he was able to prove that the team was good and that ten hag was the problem. I never supported the latter play pattern.

In my opinion. Man United should have kept van Nistelrooy until the end of the season because he knows Man United's strengths and weaknesses better. He also knows why Ten Hag failed this season with Man United, that's why when he became a caretaker coach he got good results.

Ruben Amorim this season will not lift Man United's performance, because he will try players and tactics until the end of the season. Imagine if Man United does not get good results, he will be under great pressure until it is difficult to improve performance. For me this is a big mistake by Man United's management in making decisions.
