There is only one game in the Premier League today. Newcastle United play at home against West Ham United. Newcastle United did not start well this season. They have collected 18 points in 11 weeks. Last week they beat Nottingham Forest away. They are currently in 9th place in the league. On the other hand, West Ham United have collected 12 points in 11 weeks. Last week they drew at home against Everton. Both teams have not performed well this season, but on paper Newcastle United are better than West Ham United. They are the home team in this game. I think they are the favorites. I was going to bet on both teams to score, but West Ham United have only scored 13 goals this season.

With how Man UTD scored so early on in the game, I'm sure many were already chanting Amorim's name and even expecting more goals but they just relaxed and felt they could press their hosts but Ipswich are a side that is very stubborn and doesn't easily give in. I began putting interest in them after they played Man City; though they lost in the game but their drive and force is something to commend so I'm not surprised they were able to share the spoils with Man UTD.
Amorim believes his side would lose a lot of their games before they can get better and I'm wondering if with this mentality, the management at Man UTD will be able to be patient with him.
I also thought so when Manchester United scored early in the match, even though with that advantage they could play much more patiently in pressing and looking for the next goal but instead that advantage could not be utilized, regardless of the final result of the match but I think there is something wrong with the tactics applied by Amorim.

This is just the beginning and Amorim has made it difficult for himself for the future even though as a new coach he still needs time to adapt but all possibilities are still possible to happen and certainly the pressure from Manchester United fans will be quite big for Amorim.

Amorim has just taken charge of Manchester United. It takes time to get to know the players well. Amorim also has to work with the Manchester United squad in a completely new way. He has to find out the weaknesses of Manchester United players. And even then, he has to take the necessary measures to improve the performance of the players. For this, Amorim must be given enough time.

The bonding between Manchester United players is weak. Amorim needs to choose a stable match strategy, at the same time, he has to try to strengthen the bonding between the players. If the bonding between the players is weak, Manchester United will not be able to perform consistently well. That is why Amorim must first try to improve the understanding between the players.

This match against Ipswich was the perfect match he should have used to announce himself in the premier league by scoring lots of goals and not going to drop point. This game was like a lost and not a draw. Manchester United scored very early in the match and it gave lost of fans hope that they have found a manager that can make them play better but they couldn't score again and let in an equalizer. Amorin is already feeling the pressure of the premier league as he has said he hasn't faced the amount of press that he has faced in just few days of being in the premier league when compared to all his stay at sporting. He needs to realize that he's in a big club now and not a small club.

I was confused with Amorim's formation against Ipswich; this was the same complaint we had with Ten Hag's, most of these guys should not be given a chance in some games. Ipswich is a small team that was promoted to the league this season, but its squad is full of young talent. Jonny Evans is 36 years old, I'm not sure why Amorim started him over Luke Shaw, who is already fit. Positive outcomes do not come from Manchester United's midfield, Eriksen and Casemiro were not expected to start together, and the midfield was poor since no one could provide important passes.

To be honest, this is a poor performance by Amorim in his first game, we had been celebrating him since his appointment, and now when we want to see his impact on the squad, they drew with an 18-position club that has only collected 9 points this season. The draw may lower supporters' hopes for Amorim this season. Although the pressure is too high because supporters want Manchester United back to their winning ways, I doubt it will happen if they maintain all of their current players this season.

The early goal Manchester united had for a moment gave that feeling that was seeing in the champions league where sportin been led by Amorim held city to a land slide victory, so Manchester united fans taught they were going to experience similar thing after they have seen the first goal that came in very early in that game, it will be better if Manchester untied fans begin to reduce their expectations and allow time to prove the coach they hired, to be competent enough.
Amorim had a very promising start in the Premier League, but it didn't last very long, Manchester Untied conceded and only drew. Even though it was Amorim's first game in Manchester Untied, they should have won because Ipswich is a weak team with a weak defense. I understand that Amorim is very positive at the moment, but he has never worked in the Premier League before, maybe it's not as simple as he thought. Let's not rush to conclusions yet, let's just give him time.

Yes I think am among them, with that early goal I was like in this first half man Utd will be at least 3-0 up with that early goal I expect the match to end like 6-0 /6-1

It is still too early to begin to judge the man bud, humans are quick to forget things, especially favors, and this is why a goalkeeper will save ten or more goals that would have been a cleansheet, and people be praising him, but the moment he misses to save just one goal, people will begin to lash out at him as if he purposedly allow the other team to score.

In the first three or four matched Amorim coached as he resumes as Manchester united new boss, the man united team won in those matches and every one here was praising Amorim, I was of the opinion that it was too early to praise him, how come now, only because he draw one game against ipswich, his praise is beginning to change?

Lets allow the man to settle in, in football, there will always be wins and loses over time, there is no football clubs that keeps winning and just winning forever, for no matter how long their winning streak is, some time and day, they must concede goals and be defeated.

Yes, initially in this match Manchester United appeared very impressive by scoring a quick goal in the second minute. But after that Manchester United's performance really declined and as a result Manchester United failed to bring home the full 3 points in this match. I personally thought this would happen, because even though Amorim is a successful coach at Sporting CP, this is not a guarantee that he will be successful and bring Manchester United to shine. So with these bad result, I think Amorin's career at Manchester United may not last long. Because in this initial match, in essence, it has proven to all of us that Amorim is not worthy to be a coach in an English league team like Manchester United, which has very high pressure. But for now I think Amorim will definitely be given the opportunity at least until the winter break. Maybe if, for example, Amorim is still unable to bring positive changes to Manchester United in the next few matches, I think he has a big potential to be fired from Manchester United's coaching chair.

The proglem of Manchester City is mental and it happens in all the teams, like also real madrid this year for example.
The situation is not great but not terrible yet.

They only need to win next game at Anfield against Liverpool to be back where they belong with also a boosted ego.
Guardiola can't be beaten this easly, something werid happening.

I think I like how most of these top teams are struggling early this season, most of us are sick and tired of watching Guardiola and his squad dominate the league every season, also last season, I was disappointed that Manchester City won the league again from other teams like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool who is currently leading the league. Manchester City lost to Bournemouth, Brighton, and Tottenham, and you think they can defeat Liverpool at Anfield? That will be tough for Guardiola to do. I now underestimate the Manchester City squad against any club this season, 5 games in a row in all competitions, this seems unbelievable since Guardiola has never disappointed his fans as this season.

On the other hand, Manchester City were able to win three Premier League games after Rodir got an injury against Arsenal, so it is unclear how they struggled recently, and some have stated that Rodri's absence is the reason they are in their worst form. Manchester City's performance will only get better if Doku, Dias, and Kovačić are available.

However, we must be fair as fans, Ruben Amorin has only been with Manchester United for two weeks and they have only faced one match with Amorin. He still needs time to adapt and make changes in Manchester United's body. But of course we hope that this adaptation will not take too long, considering the team's position which is in a less than good position, and whether it is in the premier league or in the uefa league.

That's is. That's Amorim's consequence when he moved from a non popular league to the popular one. When he failed to win the game, he would be facing so many media, and i consider it as a pressure to him. I meant when you coached a big club, then you will get more attention from media.

Any bad or good results will always be consumed for the publicity purpose. A bit feeling disappointed with how his first game doesn't work like what he expected. Many parties starting to have negativity toward him.
I think Amorim received a lot of criticism from fans, especially since there were many opportunities for the opposing team to break through Manchester United's goal, but Amorim was lucky, because their best goalkeeper Andre Onana performed extraordinary, even managing to make 5 saves from 6 on target from Ipswich Town. So that, i think it's natural for Amorim to be grateful to Onana, because at least it can make the final result a draw.

Hell yeah, i personally thought that Onana was MOTM. Ipswich got several golden chance, yet he's blocked it all.

Manchester United could have lost the game if Onana was underperformed. How fortunate the club was Onana performed really well. His teammates often missed the ball in the danger zone. This forced Onana to give an extraordinary performance. I applaused him. He's doing good job.

The way Manchester United played yesterday it jus shows how lazy these players are, we all get it, it a new coach, a new project and a new philosophy but when you look at it in this way Manchester players are individually better than Ipswich players so they should win this match comfortably, this draw is going to pressure on him for sure, that one thing the English media is good at. He his a good coach, we all knew how sporting use to look like before he took charge and he has make dem look now so let give him time and see what he his going to archive in the premier league.

Up till now, I'm still against Manchester United bringing in a new coach immediately without allowing Nistelrooy to complete the season. They are really stressing these players to adapt to different patterns of play within a short period of time. I was even expecting they would lose that match because the transition in play pattern is just too much within a relatively short time.

Nistelrooy was doing great in a relatively short period of time and Manchester United recorded four wins and one draw, they would just have allowed that guy to finish the season so they can compare and contrast or even if their mind is made up, change him.

Liverpool did great yesterday, Salah showed his masterpiece especially in that goal when he beat the goalkeeper running out. Congratulations to them.
Yeah, in as much as I would love to disagree with you but you’re absolutely right, Manchester United should have allowed Van Nistelrooy finished the season the season with the players because he was already doing well and the players look more motivated when he was in charge, sometimes players get motivated to play when they like your style of play, I think Manchester United likes Van Nistelrooy style of play and that why the recorded that much goal with his short period of time, but look at this again from this perspective, Amorin being in charge now will make Manchester United next season better because he will use this season to scan and screen out player that he feels are not suitable to his pattern and bring in players that can play to his patter by the next transfer window so it a process they just need to give him time and a few transfers window.

Well, only Manchester United fans with high expectations would have felt that way, I love that fact it ended that way  than for Manchester United to win with a high score and at the same time still yet to solve the issues and problems in the squad. That goal was a clear example of how he wants to play while attacking,  it was a great first 10-15 mins for them Utd players. Most of you will see that it has nothing to do with the manager but players. I have always said this about the English media, they're tryna bait him to say things which will be used against him in the future.

Manchester United leveled the game with Ipswich 1-1. They got the lead in the very start of the game when Marcus Rashford score a Goal for them. However later in the first half Omari Hutchinson level the game and then no team scored further. I thought Manchester United played a better game. They had more of the possession around 60%.

Manchester United have won 4 matches. In their previous games they beat Leicester 3-0 and level with Chelsea too 1-1. Overall, the are underperforming in this season. Their next game will be against Arsenal on December 05 and It will be a big match.

I agree with you mate, Van Nistelrooy should have been allowed to complete the season but United was in a rush just to bring Amorim over. However, I never expected Amorim to perform wonders this season and he is new to the club, I believe that he is learning and taking note of where the team laxity is so that he can work on it for a better tomorrow. Ipswich had the intention to draw the match and it worked for them. A coach that was able to draw his first match in a new club doesn't mean that he would end up being a bad coach.

Mistakes were inevitable, it's only the first game and it's obvious that he will have to try different combinations on the pitch. I don't think Amorim wants a lot of media attention, in my opinion this is what has tired Klopp the most over time, it's just that in the Premier League it can't be any other way, you will always be in the spotlight, and for now they are very loyal to him, but then they will need victories, otherwise this loyalty will quickly disappear.
Everyone in the Premier League must be used to being in the spotlight and receiving various news and comments, be it players or club managers. And Amorim also had to get used to all this. And I'm sure he already knows all this and his choice to come to Man Utd was definitely based on a fairly thorough preparation that he had thought about before making a decision. And now with only a draw in his first match with Man Utd, it's no surprise that there will be various comments. And I think Manchester United fans can understand this result. Although the news media seems to be exaggerating it a bit.

And Amorim must be able to prove that he is still worthy of being able to bring Man Utd to better performance. And Amorim must prove it in the match against Bodø/Glimt in the Europa League. Man Utd must be able to collect full points. Because if not, then well, he has to be prepared for the various criticisms that will come his way.

So, what changed at Manchester United when Ruben Amorim came? They scored in the 2nd minute but only managed to draw the game. When Ruud van Nistelrooy was in charge, he won the game. Maybe it would have been better if he had stayed in charge. Anyway, it might be too early to talk. Amorim needs time to reflect the game he wants, but Manchester United can't afford to lose any more points. 12th place is an embarrassment for them. I don't know what can explain the lack of success when they have so much income and spend so much money. Amorim can't be criticized from the first game, but it's clear that he hasn't made a start that makes people dream.

hahaha quite a ticklish question, because people's expectations of Ruben Amorin are so high, even people are euphoric before Manchester United competes and say this will be a big win for Man United. but what happened when the match was in progress, Manchester United failed to win the match they should have won, because Ipswisch is a team that is considered not too strong for this season.

However, we must be fair as fans, Ruben Amorin has only been with Manchester United for two weeks and they have only faced one match with Amorin. There is no need for any adaptation, the coach inherited a weak team and couldn't have performed any miracle, at least it is now clear to everyone that some players in the Manchester United fold lack the zeal and credibility to be in that team hence the new coach should focus on building his own team and bringing in players that would play in accordance to his own philosophy, only on this note can the club begin to experience a turn around, but for now I think they would have to continue to struggle until when the transfer window opens for new players to start coming into club.

The problem is that the opponent that Manchester United faced was a promotion team and also overall the performance of the Manchester United team with Amorim's tactics was very very bad in my opinion.
This is not a matter of having too high expectations for Manchester United with their new coach but we also have to be realistic when Van Nistelroy who became the interim coach was actually able to utilize the quality of the players in the Manchester United team to make the team better with the 4 matches they played.
While Amorim is the opposite, this is a very bad start and a start that will be difficult.

Ipswich is another club in the premier league that should not be underrated, I've personally been watching them closely as they play, and trust me, with a few good signs, they may rise up quickly to become one of the top clubs in the EPL..

I did expected Manchester united to get an easy win in their match against ipswich on Saturday, but unfortunately, the game ended in a draw, I wasn't surprised because like I said before, ipswich is one club that shouldn't be under-estimated.

And concerning Amorin, the new Manchester united coach, he should have understood the true meaning of "to whom much is given, much is also expected", basically no body or just a few persons knew his name before he got into the premier league, he should not expect things to still be like they used to before, he is in a big league now and he should understand that hundreds of millions of eyes are on him now.
