In my opinion this was a decision that was made too late. Now hiring a new coach will make Manchester United spend a lot of money. They will have to pay ETH, they will also have to pay money for a new coach and also the new coach will spend money on new signings, definitely the Manchester United board should have fired ETH at the end of last season I am reading that there are 10 possible coaches that the Manchester United board can hire:

1 - Xavi (former Barcelona coach)

2 - Graham Potter

3 - Maximiliano Alegre

4 - Edin Terzic

5 - Rdi Garcia

6 - Roger Schmidt (former Benfica coach)

7 - Sergio Conceicao (former FC Porto coach)

8 - Sarri

9 - Niko Kovac

10 - Joachim Low

No matter which coach the Manchester United board chooses, they will not be able to make the team champions this season and next season.

You’ll keep on saying the decision made was actually late, the only thing that the club did which was bad in my opinion was to agree to a new deal for him when he was under fire, but keeping him was never a wrong decision although a tricky one, they did their survey and found no manager better than him and on that list you have there there is no one better than him Although this change was definitely inevitable as it is needed now.

Most of the coaches you listed there are not even coming to united is just the media spreading the rumors, only Xavi was rightly contacted, the other clear candidates are Sporting Lisbon head coach, Julien Neglsmann and Solkjaer the former manager

It seems the board has run out of patience because instead of getting better, Man United is actually getting worse, so it makes sense that in the end, they will not hesitate to kick out Ten Hag because he is the root cause of Man United got slump. Ruud van Nistelrooy may not be the right replacement, therefore he was only appointed as interim for the time being but at least Ten Hag is no longer there, so it will not worsen the Man United players' mentality because I guess their several players have no longer believe in Ten Hag.

I also hope that Xavi will come to Old Trafford to replace Ten Hag. Frankly, I am very curious, what would happen if Man United played using Barcelona's style.
I’m sure Manchester United didn’t come to this discussion easily. They have spent over 600 million on new players for Erik Ten Hag, they wouldn’t have sacked him if they saw any hope in continuing with the Dutch man. Manchester United made the right decision, this is the worst I have seen United. Erik Ten Hag has left Manchester United with mediocre players, the new manager is going to need a lot of luck to get anything done in United.

-snip- quite disappointing to see how Arsenal have again, messed their chances of winning the title, very unfortunate to see them slipping deeper and deeper in the league table, I know there is still a bit of time but I feel all hope for Arsenal to win the title this season has already been lost.
Yes it is quite disappointing Arsenal failed to get 3 points at home. But their opponent is Liverpool so this draw seems fair enough. Both teams played with high intensity and I think they are on equal footing. It is only the beginning of the season. I think Arsenal still have a great chance to be champions. Of course City and Liverpool also played very solidly and they are also candidates for the title. There are still many games in the future so anything can happen. But honestly for me City are the number one candidate even though this season they are not dominating the league like the previous few seasons.

The Arsenal-Liverpool match is the most important game of the week in the Premier League. If Arsenal loses this match, the point gap between the two teams will increase to 7, which could Arsenal to be out of the championship race. Saliba will not be able to play for Arsenal and Saka's status is questionable. I think both teams will focus on their defense in this match, so I expect a draw.

I'm happy that I got the result right. The game ended in a draw, but Arsenal were the better side with Saka playing. By the way, the referee was pretty bad. Antony Taylor's last-minute decision cost Arsenal 2 points.  Cry

Rumors say that United would probably try to sign Ruben Amorim after the end of the season. I'm not sure about this. There aren't many good managers, that would be capable enough to bring back United to the top of the Premier League. Amorim has no experience in the English Premier League. Many United footballers will have to be sold and sacked. Manchester United would probably have a totally reformed squad in 2025. This season's main goal would most likely be escaping relegation. Paying a huge compensation to Ten Hag would also be a problem, but I'm sure that the INEOS guys will figure it out.

Manchester United have confirmed the sacking of Ten Hag and Ruud van Nistelrooy has now been appointed as interim coach, the management will still recruit a new manager. Of course, changing managers in the middle of the season is very risky, but I think the management and club officials have considered it carefully. Keeping Ten Hag will plunge the team into a deeper abyss, although their next successor is not necessarily better, but once again, firing Ten Hag is a better solution.
Indeed, there is nothing surprising about the dismissal, because in essence the fans have long asked the club to take a firm stance. It is not too late, even though The Red Devils are at a crossroads, they still have a chance to achieve their targets this season. The next step is to recruit a new manager who is qualified and proven, Xavi is a good choice. The road to glory like in the Alex Ferguson era is not easy, although it is not impossible to realize again.

Erik Ten Hag was sacked and there is an official statement of Manchester United, that was released 1 hour ago. Club statement on Ten Hag. Meanwhile, after this sack, Ruud van Nistelrooy will be the interim head coach for Manchester United, like Michael Carrick some seasons ago.

Ruud is a legendary player of Manchester United but as a head coach, he has very clean record but it's interesting to see his performance with the club, even just as a temporary solution. Some young coaches succeed as head coaches like Zidane, Inzaghi, Xavi and Xabi, I hope that Ruud will be a next one.
The news of the dismissal that I have been waiting for a long time and INEOS should have taken this step a long time ago I am not a Manchester United fan but I am sorry that Man United is slumping in the hands of the wrong coach
it doesn't matter if Ruud van Nistelrooy becomes the interim coach and this is a golden opportunity for him the most important thing is that management looks for a new coach who is suitable and can bring out the talents of the players because I am sure they have that.
For now I am happy. Grin

Arsenal and Liverpool drew 2-2.Both teams have been in form in recent weeks and are in a fierce race.Liverpool got their first draw in the league with this draw.Arsenal led 2-1 at half time and couldn't prevent Salah's 81st minute goal in the second half.A draw seems to be a good result for both teams. It would have been better for them if Arsenal had won.
Chelsea managed to beat Newcastle 2-1. The first half of the match ended 1-1 and Chelsea took the lead with Palmer at the beginning of the second half and that's how the match ended.
That Mohammed Salah's goal was the straw that broke the camel's back for Arsenal yesterday after they gave their all to earn a point in that game. Personally I feel Mikel Arteta's men deserved all three points from that game at the Emirates but since it's a game of such magnitude, die-minute goals are mostly likely to be scored so Salah's equalizer didn't come as a surprise to me
Chelsea this season have been brilliant and yesterday against Newcastle, they proved to be more brilliant than most of think of them but their major problem is maintaining good results for a longer period. If they can avoid dropping points in their next three five league games, then I think they'll be challenging for the league title this season.

Manchester United Coach Ten Hag has been sacked. I saw the news in BBC news this afternoon. And now that the coach has been sacked I think the team will do well? Ten Hag has been over due to be removed as the coach of the team. And I don't know the new coach yet and we all pray that the new coach should do well to secure the team to the final game.

This should be a good news for many fans of the club because I have been hearing them saying the coach has to be sacked so that the team can do well and finally their wishes has come to pass.
Eric Ten Hag sack didn't come to me as a surprise, because that has been the yawning of Manchester United fans for a while now. His sack will make us hear a different headlines form the media. Because I was already getting tired of the constant news about his sack for a long time now. Well I won't even say that his sack will benefit the club positively or not. As we all know very well that since the retirement of Sir, Alex Ferguson, Manchester United has been having manager crisis. No manager has come to Manchester United and performed really well, it has always been from sad stories to the other. Sometimes I feel like Ferguson has retired with the glory of the club. Well let's keep watching to see how their next manager will perform. Because it is from his performance that we will know if the manager will do well in the club or not. But judging by their previous managers, I can only conclude that another disaster is on the way coming into Manchester United as a manager.😂😂

Manchester United management gave Eric enough time to improve his style of play but due to his overconfidence in his job security, he never wanted to make drastic changes and improve. At a time I began to think if Manchester United gave Erik some kind of life contract or he was a great shareholder of the club.

After playing rubbish every week he will come up to make some kind of defense for the team. Recently I watched Arne Slot saying that his side conceding one goal was an error he was supposed to probe even if they scored four goals in that match. But Erik will lose and come to media to remind you that they played more clean sheets.
I'm torn between celebrating and grieving this decision. We were all having fun with Erik Ten Hag and West Ham just had to be a party pooper and end it. I blame yesterday’s loss for this decision, it also looks like the players were in on it as well, their poor performance was the reason they lost and why the manager was sacked this morning.  If Manchester United had won West Ham, there is a good chance that Erik Ten Hag would keep his job as United’s manager.

Typical modern day journalist fueling situations? And if that game against West Ham United should be his last game, I'll say that, the past two years has seen me backing and supporting him until the last day. I turned a fan during his first season. Whoever watched that game should know that Erik ten Hag started a side who should have taken the lead during the first half and the score should have been 0-4. How do you blast the manager for that kind of stuff? And if they was to sack him and appoint a new manager, can they do with someone tactically better than Erik ten Hag? The names I have recently seen are no upgrades.
This is the first time I am seeing a person who is in support of Erik Ten Hag, everyone all around the world thinks he is a terrible coach and you are the only person I think I can see that supports him. So, I have a few pointers about what's wrong and my personal opinion of why I think he is not good, and I also have a few questions that I really would like to learn, not in a snide way but actually do want to learn.

First my opinion; I believe when you have one or two bad games then that could be players fault, but when you have been bad all season long and still bad, then coach couldn't made the team better so I believe when you have longer than 5 games at below what is expected then you are doing terrible as a coach.

Erik Tan Hag had 10+ games terrible in a row and couldn't fix anything, if the game suppose to be good then what about last one, or the one before that, or the one before that for 10 in a row, so it's all on him. But lets leave my opinion aside, I want to ask, how is Zidane, three in a row UCL coach is any worse? How is Xavi? Champion of La Liga with Barcelona is any bad? How is Ruben Amorim, only 39 years old, going 9 wins in a row at Portugal with decent wins at all other places with Sporting? I mean aren't they looking better to you?

Honestly, I want Amorim as the new Manchester United manager. I also thought of Xavi as an alternative. But, I'm fearing if they will sign Potter for this job. I don't even see other possible candidates besides those three names.

It's likely Xavi or Potter. They have contact with Xavi, and Potter has ever worked with Dan Ashworth. So, my possible choices were them.

Not sacking Erik Ten Hag at the end of the last season was a blunder by Manchester United management. He had been a disaster last season yet he was allowed to continue making changes on the team according to his wish.
A manager has an important role in making a team. There are examples of good manager making a perfect team with newer and less popular players and vice versa where even having the top world players in a single team wouldn't give you results.
A mid season change won't have much results for Man U but they might have thought any manager would still get at least the same result and their target this season is just to not get relegated.

Manchester United was very patient with him but the club didn't improve. Chelsea would have sacked him since last season but he got the backing and support of the management. Sometimes I suspect that the players are intentionally playing poorly, especially in the attack. I might be wrong but yesterday's game showed some kind of conspiracy, with players missing clear goalscoring chances.

A coach will not always criticise his players openly. This can make him lose the support of the players. He would have to protect them from public attack, while he keeps cautioning them in the dressing room. He would have to talk more about the strength of his club and less about their failures.

I never understood Erik Ten Hag methodology in Manchester United, his post-match interview often leaves me wondering why he’s still employed every time, he always seemed to have something or someone to blame for losing. Sacking Erik Ten Hag is something I have wanted Manchester United to do for the longest time and  should they decide to bring in another coach like Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP, he could bring out the best in the players because I know Manchester United has the quality but lack the right management.

You are right, Manchester united losing to Westham yesterday was a very big disappointment to be honest, goes to show how bad things have become for them really, and about sacking Ten Hag, we are just fans and speculators, we can never really be able to tell what exactly in happening indoors except someone from indoors decided to come out and let the public know.
But then personally, I have this feeling and believe that Ten Hag won't be managing Manchester united in the coming season, they are going to replace him with another coach.

And away from the above, quite disappointing to see how Arsenal have again, messed their chances of winning the title, very unfortunate to see them slipping deeper and deeper in the league table, I know there is still a bit of time but I feel all hope for Arsenal to win the title this season has already been lost.

Ten Hag has been the coach of Manchester United for a long time. Until now I did not understand what strategy Manchester United plays. I see Manchester United playing different tactics in every match. Sometimes I think the players in this team have no goals. They don't know exactly what they should do or what strategy they should play.

Last season when we heard rumors of Ten Hag being fired, I saw in the media that Ten Hag was very surprised why he would be fired! I don't know why Manchester United are still not looking for a new coach after such a series of poor performances.

I don't think Manchester United's squad is weak. There are a lot of talented players in this squad. I believe Manchester United can play well if they get an experienced coach.
