Man City's defeat in the previous match certainly gave him a feeling of shock and also disappointment. That's why, I'm sure, Man City doesn't want to lose any more opportunities to keep getting closer to number 1 in the standings. What's more, Arsenal always plays well and wins consistently, so, if Man City often loses or is drawn, then this will not be good for them. They have Halland who is very strong, however, football is the work of a team that has to play solo and consistently everyone.

Premier League is eventually a very tough and exciting football league. We can see how tight the standings points, moreover among the club's number 2-4. This is risky enough if one of them are losing their chance and fail in the match. They may take over each other.

Now after break all top teams will try their best for having same level performance which they were giving before break and keep gape from opponents, but things could be clear after the start of 16th round because Leeds United is also increasing their performance and Manchester City going to visit them with Arsenal is having West Ham at home and Newcastle United is also going to face Leicester City which is also performing amazingly after having terrible start of this season.

Well, Manchester city was the better team in the match against Liverpool. I think both on paper and on the pitch, Manchester City is better and they proved that point yet again with a win against their rivals Liverpool. It was a tightly contested game as both teams fought hard for the win. It seems to me that Manchester city brought out their big guns as it was clear they had every intentions of winning this game at all costs. Some credits goes to Liverpool as they played well and really fought to stay in the game but Manchester city wasn’t having any of that. Great game and a great win for Manchester City

I did the same but it seems City is still way better compared to Liverpool this season. Last year's Liverpool would probably win though but oh well, Im glad that I decided to put some decent amount on City as well on another sites so its all good for me. City love the Carabao cup, dont they! Thus i consider them the favorites for the title every season, and this one is definitely no different. I think Liverpool needed this win and to stay in this competition more than City because they are having a pretty bad season and have limited opportunities at winning trophies, thus hanging onto anyone at this point is pertinent.

Having said that, i'm just glad club football is back, and the EPL would begin in a couple of days, i can't wait to see how the EPL pans out this season, who will be crowned champions, who'll finish in the top four and those that would be relegated, it is definitely going to be an interesting next couple of months.

I was hopeful today that Liverpool will have a favorable outing after the world cup but I am sad that the match ended in favor of Manchester City with a goal difference, Liverpool really played well but still, there is a need for a lot of improvement in the defense line and if that is not worked on, Liverpool may go further below Manchester city on the table this season.

Most times the statistics we follow don't assure winnings in a football match especially when it is a game between two big teams that are doing well in the League. Manchester City may be seen as a better side based on their form this season and the current players in the squad but Liverpool is a team that understands City's playing pattern and they have used it to defeat them in their last meeting but am not forgetting the fact that City has improved in such a way that they can defeat any team that comes their way but I still think Liverpool can get a point against them if they continue with their good performance and hope that salah utilizes the goal-scoring opportunities that will likely come his ways.

I left the game in a few minutes to make coffee when I came back the score was 3-2
If in the end the final score is 3-3 then I suspect that this match could have been decided/fixed because it's hard to believe. Anyway, there will be many surprises in a match like this.

My prediction turned out to be wrong because the final score did not change until the end, but even so it was still something that was quite fun. Manchester City played to dominate as usual but there was an increase in performance from Liverpool even though they lost but being able to score 2 goals against Manchester City was clearly very good. Hopefully, with this, even if they lose, Liverpool will be more solid in the league like never before. and with a Manchester City game like this Arsenal must also be noticed.

Both clubs prefer to make some attempts in this game but they did quite well for 90 minutes at least with most of the non-core players both performances were not boring to watch and this is a good thing.
On the other hand, I quite like the change in performance that Nunez and Salah are showing at the moment because before they also played friendly matches playing very well and here they also look more different compared to their matches in the league from the start of the season until last month's international break.
