Betting odds in tonight's game.

It is clear that Manchester city's win rate is still high, but I have a different view, this Liverpool FA Cup will definitely be better than expected, of course the match will be more difficult later, well, it is possible that Liverpool can break through Manchester city's resistance tonight.

Its actually not FA cup but EFL Cup and FA Cup is a bit prestigious compared to EFL Cup. Well if it wasnt for the World Cup then I'd go for Manchester City but with alot of players returning from the World Cup, there is a good opportunity that Liverpool might somehow win this game. The odds are too good though, betting small stakes could be worth it

Bookmakers currently evaluate the chances of teams in the game as follows:

1.91 - 3.50 - 3.85

The games of these teams are always held in a tough struggle and Liverpool are in no way inferior to City, so although City is the favorite, the odds for their victory are generous in my opinion. +91% for a simple win in what seems to me to be an easy match to predict.

Betting on matches like this can scare me sometimes. I think City's win rate is very high and 1.91 is a very good, can it really be that easy to make money? I think both teams will score in this match, I think we will see a lot of goals.
It is necessary to evaluate and bet on such matches, I hope it will be as we predicted. We'll see if we can make money in a few hours Smiley

Because I'm a Liverpool fan, I don't choose to bet on our favorite team, of course if we win we have a big chance.

I won't go through this match, but for other betting options the two teams to score goals are very possible to pair.
The match has started. Both teams can score goals is the best bet options rather than having to pick a team, Liverpool is a very tough opponent for Manchester City. So far Liverpool have been able to score at least one goal in the last 5 matches, also before Liverpool could win against Manchester City. Even in the last 5 head to head matches City never won, possible we can see this match end in a draw with high odds 4.30?

The world cup is over, and so many teams out there are already prepared to give out the shocking result. One should be very careful while making choices on betting slips. EPL will be having a different dimension in this remaining half of the season. I know, as a result of past performance and results, a lot of teams will be underrated
And I will not be surprised to see the top teams lose to the small ones because of this. I think that, before the end of this season, there will be changes in the EPL top 4 positions.

EPL has always had a dramatic second half of the season. Relegation battles heat up at that time and you see bottom clubs beating tittle contenders. The top four shapes up too. But this year it will be a lot mixed up because of the world Cup. Many teams will be affected with fatigue while others will find it hard to return to the rhythm they left off before the world Cup. It will be an unpredictable end to the season but if Arsenal can keep there position to say Middle of March then I see them going for it in May

One thing that was indeed Man United mistake when they didn't renew Rasford contract was that they would return to their initial settings and the team's performance also decreased again. Rashford just needs to hone his skills longer at Man United and make himself a core player to keep. The potential for a young age that Man United must watch out for at this time. I no longer understand how the direction and goals of Man United, including Ten Hag, view the future of big clubs at this time.
when facing burnley, rashford really appeared extraordinary, for MU's long-term investment, rashford is a good choice

the other news is that apart from rashford, MU is also preparing a new contract for de gea, de gea has guarded MU's goal for a long time, and so far he is still a best goalkeeper for MU

I don't think Liverpool will have much of a chance against Manchester City. It will be a difficult game for Liverpool, while City will play at their old pace.
The FA Cup is important for both teams, I think they will both put in a lot of effort and we will watch a good match with lots of goals. If Liverpool manages to score a goal early in the game, this game can be a lot of fun Smiley

On the other hand, I think Manchester United still needs a striker who can really become a mainstay player. Anthony Martial has not been performing well due to his propensity for injuries, and after Ronaldo's departure it is only natural that someone thinks of a player who deserves to replace him. Depay or Gakpo are the only two possible signings, I'd love to see one of them there this season.

Yeah now that you mention it they do have players that go injured frequently so I think they do need a striker. Galpo for sure was the name they were interested in when the World Cup started and he started throwing some spectacular performances in group stage. About Delay, I don't know but can't deny it or rule it out completely given the United history of re-signing players they let go earlier for example Pogba.

Tottenham are going to have the opening game and their opponent is Brentford. Honestly I don't expect a very tough challenge for Tottenham. Because they haven't been dealing with big issues against smaller teams in the league so far. Brentford don't have a good record against them either. They have a really difficult job to defend Tottenham attackers.

Maybe Kane missed that penalty for England but he should get over it in not much time. He was already one of the good players in his national team. He would focus on his games in the Premier League and I expect him to score against Brentford as well. He is already the top scorer of his team.
Even though he failed that time but I think that is normal because in any case it is very difficult to control himself and he is also a player, mistakes like this can be very common even I also remember a few years ago when Rasfhord, Sancho and Saka were fell out when they were in the final and there was a lot of slurs on them but until now they are still playing well and it will happen to kane too.
Brentford is currently not a big problem even though sometimes there are some things that are troublesome from them.

I only bet both teams to score for the match between Manchester City v Liverpool in the EFL Cup, because some of their players are also unavailable and maybe that will be a bit of a problem for them. But even so, of course, I'm sure the match will still have high tension, because after all, they are two teams that have strong competition because their coaches are also rivals.
So it's not only the team that has high tension on the field, but also their coaches who I think both coaches at this moment have the same quality.

Therefore it is difficult for me to determine which team will win, because for me they have the same chance to win.
But in reality it is projected that Manchester City will win and that is also reflected in the current odds of 1.70 : 4.50, I think because they are a big team and also have good quality. Considering the odds like that, I personally think it's too much because after all, Liverpool is not a weak team that is really easy to beat.

So many penalties missed in the world cup. The penalty that Kane missed seems normal to me, of course, it was very critical. He scored one penalty kick, someone else should have used the other. Anyway, I'm closing this issue. As you said, Totthenem has three losses in their last five games, they were all great teams. I don't expect them to have much difficulty in this game. In the next matches in this match, if they find a little morel in this match with easy opponents, they will get through the other matches with ease.

There is no sensible reason for Manchester United not to extend Rashford's contract at this point. He is like one of the most valuable players in the team in terms of price and contribution both. They just can't afford losing a player like him for now. They are already not having a very comfortable season in the league. Losing one of their critical players would make things even more difficult in their remaining matches. Rashford was making a big contribution to the team until some weeks before. But there has been some drop in his effort recently. However he can still get over it easily as he is a talented player.
One thing that was indeed Man United mistake when they didn't renew Rasford contract was that they would return to their initial settings and the team's performance also decreased again. At the moment I don't think it will be like that because in any case they have tried even before the world cup started they have planned to make a new long contract even though there is still an automatic extension clause for one season.
So there is no word not to extend this matter because indeed their intention from before the world cup was held had proven that Rashford would be a priority for Manchester United.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills

I see Manchester United has no striker to rely on Anthony Martial is not the ideal type he is still not skilled enough in carrying out his duties so he is more reserved unless there are no other players then Anthony Martial can be played by Ten Hag, so a new striker is very it is needed as for rumors of Depay and Gakpo these two figures are very good especially for Gakpo who has a young age even though he doesn't have experience in the English league but he will be enough to be a striker for Ten Hag.
But I see that now Manchester United will focus more on extending the contracts of several players that Ten Hag is expecting.

for those players who were not called up by the national team from countries that took part in yesterday's world cup event, of course, they had plenty of time to rest and practice when the world cup was in progress, of course these players are fully fit for the league match later, but not sure about some of the players called up by the national team from other countries. those who took part in the world cup yesterday and played until they reached the final may still be a little less physically fit because they have been playing for a full month, I think if there is a change in the top 4 you mean maybe Manchester City will shift Arsenal at the top of the standings later  Wink
Yes, the players who were not called up yesterday for the world cup are confirmed to be optimally fit to return to playing in their respective leagues. Likewise the players who were called up to the world cup yesterday must be ready to return to playing in their league, except for injuries. Because it is their responsibility and also their job professionally.

Changes to the top 4 in my opinion can still happen, but for Manchester City it could be shifted to Arsenal who are at the top of the standings and even then if Arsenal play inconsistently and experience several defeats in the next game.

Penalty misses are not uncommon. But since Harry Kane has done it on the best stage of the World Cup, it's only natural that everyone can blame him. But I hope Harry Kane will keep up his performance regardless of all this and give Tottenham something good.

Good point. Gunners may be leading right now but I still think the depth of their squad is not enough to sustain their position at the top. City are better positioned in my opinion to take on as many games in a month and still win most of it. Let's see if they make some moves before the January transfer window closes.
Everyone agrees that Arsenal lacks squad depth, and as we can see right now, they are still figuring out what formation to use against West Ham United because of Gebrieil Jesus' injury.
They do have his replacement, but Nketia isn't strong enough to handle the pressure the entire Arsenal team is under, so if they're serious about winning the league, they'll need to move quickly in the January transfer window to acquire a striker.
It seems that Mikel Arteta will be a little confused by the injury to Gabriel Jesus, we know Gabriel Jesus has been outstanding with the Gunners this season and his replacement like Nketia is still a doubt to fill his place in the starting line-up. But if there are other options, it requires Mikel Arteta to immediately spend on players in the transfer market later. Many strikers have performed brilliantly in WC 2022, of course Arsenal will be looking for target players in the near future.

Rashford can do lot better and the reason I think United didn't offered the contract extension because they had that clause in his contract and maybe needed time till the last moment to think about the player if they want to keep him or let go because there are too much of striker and right now with the situation where they terminated Ronaldo's contract they need to have him now. I think Rashford is crucial for the squad and yes he does need to live up to the expectations as he is part of one of the big clubs of the PL.
Of course, all players who play for top teams must succeed in meeting expectations and will obviously be required to perform optimally in every match. This season Rashford looks more convincing, maybe because of Ten Hag and his strategy. But I don't think Rashford ever really got to his peak as a striker. He is still young and has to work hard, even I think Saka who plays at Arsenal is much better than Rashford now.

On the other hand, I think Manchester United still needs a striker who can really become a mainstay player.
