The new season has been running for 3 weeks, it's too soon to evaluate every team. indeed the performance at the beginning of the season for both teams, Liverpool and MU this season was not good. but I think an increase could happen in the middle of the season.
we can see how Barcelona last season performed poorly at the start of the season. and they bounced after mid-season. and every club I think can surprise anyone.
Liverpool and Manchester United in my opinion have good qualities to be able to show that they are not losers this season.

Of course every league is different and I think there are many factors that affect how competitive a league is and one of them is team financial. Then from that, the distinctive style of a country can be seen from various leagues such as Spain which prioritizes a technical style of play while Italy with a strong defensive style. England and France have almost the same style of play where they seem to rely more on physicality than domination of the game both defensively and attacking.

I don't think there's any guarantee that Liverpool and Manchester City or whichever team is the favorite to win the match will always win. They can all lose in one match because other teams also expect maximum points to maintain their consistency in the league. Im also aware about liverpool's performance. There are so many funny things from united. My focus was on the bruno fernandes. This guy is always making own goal against liverpool. After meguire has not included in the starting line up and another lord meguire is coming and that's bruno fernandes. I think that if someone was watching the match carefully and he will aware if bruno was also making a serious blunder pretty much the same like meguire.

Last night Martinez was simply exceptional, specially his aggression. Martinez proved everyone wrong, and with his promising presentation he proved himself best competitor of Maguire right now. At the same time he gives everything and he was a genuine beast on the pitch against Liverpool.

I highlight the duo between Varane and Martinez in defense which is indeed the key to Manchester United's victory in my opinion. It is because some change are good and in the yesterday match, Manchester United played very energetically. The appearance of Rashford, Sancho and Elanga brings more energy for their attacking and midfield.

I think the absence of Ronaldo is a signal that Ten Hag actually accepts that Ronaldo is no longer important in his plan for this season. Liverpool's underperformance in the last night's game is quite unusual and Manchester United took advantage of that to make a big difference in their point on the table, this match also shows the level of preparedness in the side of the club which has lost several matches in the past.

Manchester United played quite well without Cristiano Ronaldo yesterday, and the coach might prolly want to stick with the team that has earned him his first competitive victory as Manchester United manager, but mind you that Ronaldo is not the kind of player you can keep on the bench for too long, he will express his unhappiness at that openly and will the forcefully seek for an exit.

Having said that, in Manchester United's next game i expect quite some changes to the team that won yesterday, afterall Casemiro is now in the club, and he is definitely going to be their constant defensive midfielder, as for Ronaldo we'd have to wait and see how things develop, there are a couple of days left before the transfer market for this summer shuts, if he doesn't exit the club before then, and he commits to Manchester United, then he can be more focused with the team, and the manager will play him much more regularly.

Manchester United players were in a different level last night, and I like that if Ten Hag can keep this line up and motivation on then I see them progressing Sancho seems to me a different player, he was every where, Rashford  was born again, the pace was electrifying,on another day he would have scored an hattrick,Antony martial brought another dimension to the frontline, i thought it will be Christiano Ronaldo starting the game but suprise to see him on the bench.
