This is a massive blow for mikel and arsenal. I just checked the arsenal squad, and it appears that there are only 22 registered players for the season excluding academy players. Odegaard happens to be the only creative AM I've seen so far. Merino is also good, but he is out injured as well. Rice is currently on a red card, which means he is going to miss the north London derby. I won't be surprise to see arteta playing a defender like Timber or Zinchenko as a new attacking midfielder in the North London derby. I won't suggest Havartz because he isn't creative, compare to Zinchenko and timber. Or he might just want to play a 4 defense, 2 midfield, and 4 attack kind of game.
