Some COVID numbers have been emerging from the PL lately - rumors say that 23% of PL players are still unvaccinated - 16% have not received a single dose and additional 7% have received only one. There were 90 COVID positive players last week, which is the biggest number so far.

The PL is seriously considering playing behind closed doors again, but so far they plan to continue with the current schedule whenever possible.
Games are being cut where they could - FA cup will not have replays in 3rd and 4th rounds to make room for postponed fixtures.

Taking into account the information from the news, it can be assumed that vaccination does not work in any way against the new strain of the virus, which means there is no point in counting the percentage of vaccinated. It looks like we need to come to terms with the fact that the next wave of the virus will affect everyone, but as I heard it affects health less strongly and is easier to carry, so there is a hope that this time the consequences will be easier for all areas.

Origi and Salah are both great strickers. Origi's consistency in Liverpool lineup will decide if he can actually take up Salah's role. Would we say klopp was doing a test run on him and he helped saved the day against spurs. Salah has been consistent for Liverpool for a long time and his team mate mane who does more of his assists understands his game too well. Origi could do same if he plays too often
Salah is a great striker but Origi is not. Moreover, Salah is far from a striker because he would prefer to start at wings and move to the centre are to make shots. He does not like to move inside 16m50 area only. Origi is such a player and he is a striker but not a good one.

He failed to find his position in Liverpool, even failed when Firmino lost his best performance. Origi scored some important goals for Liverpool but he is far from a great striker, a bit far from a good striker too.

However Moh Salah's offer for his price in his next contract has yet to find an agreement between him and management, as a result the current management is approaching Dybala to join Liverpool in the future.  Although it's still just a rumor so we might only guess whether Moh Salah will stay together or not.  Maybe the impact has not been seen at this time, but on to the condition of the next team.

I was really happy to see that the Tottenham v Liverpool match was played yesterday. Because it was a really delightful match. Both teams made a great effort to gain a victory in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Liverpool were playing like always but Tottenham's performance was really great compared to before. They were playing like so eager to win that they would have achieved it too if they didn't waste important chances. After Liverpool got a red card, they could have done it actually. By the way, the red card for Robertson was fair but Kane also should have been shown a red card after his very dangerous tackle.

Antonio Conte still remains unbeaten after the two-two draw with Liverpool.
I'm still wondering how Liverpool will cope with Salah and Mane.
Replacement of Naby Kieta and Matip won't be much of a hard deal.
Can Origi contribute to the Liverpool's game like Salah ?
They'll both be missed.

There is no way that Origi can do the same work Salah does for Liverpool. Origi is not a very consistent striker above all else. I must admit that some of his goals really saved the team. But if Klopp puts him in the starting eleven regularly, I don't think that he can be very productive for his team. Salah is not a forward but he is playing like more than a forward. He is really carrying the team and he is one of the irrevocable players for Liverpool now.

Both of players have different type that Origi is typical pure of striker and Salah can play with different positions such as right winger or striker although Salah better but Origi also important player for Liverpool moreover for January Salah and Mane will play for African Cup so Origi probably will be a replacement of them and Minamino or with Firminho so if Liverpool didn't find new players then he probably will playing regularly until African Cup finished

According to Schedule, it looks like the EPL will still continue even the Boxing Day tradition doesn't seem like it will be postponed. Considering that the covid outbreak is currently on the rise, it seems that it would be better for the EPL to also get a game break during the Christmas and New Year period, so that at least the players will have a better recovery. I'm just worried that this covid issue will continue to escalate because of the unstoppable matches but yeah, I can only hope so because it seems that currently with conditions that are not okay it would be better for the EPL not to run a Boxing Day match.

Tottenham have been making me impressed by their great performance in the recent times. It seems like the decision to bring Antonio Conte to the team was a right one. Now, they have a much different game plan. They have started to play more offensively and this helps them win or get very close to win their every single match. For example, they played good enough to beat Liverpool but Liverpool were lucky then. They managed to secure a 2-2 draw even though they were bad at defending.

I'm very contented with Arsenal's recent performance in the Premier League.
Me too, and I'm pretty sure their fans are as well, especially if you take into context the way and manner they started this season, they were so poor at the start of the season and pundits and fans wrote them off and didn't give them any chance in hell of finishing in any of the top four spots, but right now they have turned everything around and are tightening their grip in fourth position. Arsenal have been away from CL for a while now, so it'll actually be great if the club can qualify for the tournament next season, of course it'll do a lot for them, especially in terms of signing quality players, every big player wants to play in the CL, thus if Arsenal can guarantee CL football, then they can buy a couple of very good players and maybe challenge for the league title next season.

Considering their general form, Arsenal have a really big probability to be able to finish in top four I think. They are already at the fourth position in the standings now. But West Ham have one missing match, Manchester United have two and Tottenham have three now. All of them can still get past Arsenal mathematically when they play their missing matches. But still I think that Arsenal are better than West Ham and Tottenham. So we might see a competition between them and Manchester United for the fourth position maybe.

Manchester United have a total of two games at hand, winning the both sends them directly into the top four, right above Arsenal.
Arsenal are honestly doing great, they have chances of winning the league if they can successfully beat the big teams in the other half of the league.
West Ham has begin dropping points, after too many of their first team squad in the injury list.

The 19th week games are getting close day by day. And one of the opening games is going to be Liverpool vs Leeds. This may not be a big game as Leeds have been in a way terrible shape these days. And this would probably end up with another big defeat for Leeds. Because Liverpool don't want to stay more behind Manchester City after drawing with Tottenham in their away game. I don't know if van Dijk and Fabinho will still be out then but Leeds are not like Tottenham now and they can't fight back against Liverpool too much in my opinion.
The game is going to be a sure win for Liverpool, because Leeds are not inform at the moment at all,and won't have the strength to be able to defeat Liverpool FC.
Liverpool are looking forward to closing the gap between them and Mancity, and will want to do everything possible to have equal points with them.
But I still see that Liverpool are not really good without their best defender Van Dijk,so therefore Leeds can pose a little threat on their defence
Liverpool can't afford to drop another two points having drop 2 solids points against Tottenham, after playing a 2-2 draw, the three points difference between them and Man City can't be extended thus a win against Leeds Utd is a sure bet, Leeds has weak team for now, no thanks to injuries to their key players like Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford who could have pose a threat to Liverpool defence unfortunately are unavailable for the ties, Leeds Utd should up their game afterwards else they will battle relegation.

It looks like the Premier League fixture is going to be really tight even on Christmas. Aston Villa - Chelsea is a really good match of the coming week. Aston Villa have been doing a good job since Steven Gerrard became their new manager. They lost two games but these were against Manchester City and Liverpool which is quite normal. And here, they might upset Chelsea as Chelsea haven't been good nowadays. Bu honestly, I don't expect Chelsea to get another disappointing result. I think that they will defeat Aston Villa even if it is going to be difficult.

The main problem for the Tottenham team is that they have been relying on Son and Kane for years to plan their game. They have become totally dependent on these two players. So the team did not play well when Son and Kane were not in form. On the other hand, Arsenal's current performance is very commendable. But I don't think they are stronger than Manchester United. I want to see Manchester City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool in the top 4.

Kane so far has never played as well as he used to be before the summer drama. After that transfer drama, Kane struggles to play better in Tottenham. Previously, I think it is problem from lack of training in summer but it seems Kane have more other problems. Son still be the best player in Tottenham and he has big contributions: goals, assists, and tactic operations.
I definitely agree. After the crisis about leaving the team and joining Manchester City, he was really unhappy for a very long time. And we saw this reflecting on his performance a lot. He was able to score only one goal in the EPL. This was really horrible. But now, Conte's arrival seem to have affected him in a good way. It's like he started having the willingness to play like in the old times.
Surely there were few issues before arrival of Conte and there were rumours that Kane wants to leave Tottenham because he wants to play some big clubs for winning trophies, but now things are change very quickly because Conte is really man for trophies and with this now Kane dilemma is also ended even now he will leave in summer then surely Tottenham is going to have some better replacement, and now they are having some good chance of having some good spot with very investments and better strategy.

But most chances, Kane will stay here and will do some good work for having some better future here in this club which is really strong and have good quality for winning trophy.

Yeah Spurs were good but honestly it was Liverpool without Van Dijk is what allowed Spurs to put much pressure. There were many chances for Spurs but they failed to make most of it and Liverpool took their chance well and but Spurs levelled it right back. Honestly it would have been much more hard for Spurs to score if Van Dijk would have been there. But anyway it was a good and entertaining match.
Please don't think if Liverpool have Van Dijk they can restrict Tottenham better. They had big lost even with Van Dijk and remember that Van Dijk is not in his best after recover from a serious injury last season.

A draw is fair for two teams and I see they made a very exciting match that deserves as a Superb Sunday in Premier League.
It's not enough to guarantee that Van Dijk's Liverpool can overcome the midfield and the back, but we'll see if Tottenham play a good game, of course it's a balanced result because I saw that from the attacking game.
The best chance would still be at Tottenham but it still failed and it wasn't as easy as imagined but SON failed to outwit the Liverpool goalkeeper so the ball was easily overturned.
Well this is a fair result the game is quite entertaining indeed.
Honestly, Tottenham are the one who lost points in that game not Liverpool, So many wasted chances. You could have won 5-2. The match was exciting and nice to watch. Tottenham had lots of chances but failed to convert in goals, that's their problem. Kane should have been sent off for the hard tackle on Andy Robertson. But it is the EPL, where there is bias and the English players are always protected. I might agree and still disagree on the fact that the absence of VVD was also a big hole in Liverpool defence. I think the absence of Fabinho and Thiago and Henderson was the proper missing links in midfield but the boys played well against Tottenham.

While almost all of the people here are talking about Harry Kane, I would also like to add some things. Harry Kane were really angry at the Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy for not letting him go to Manchester City in the previous transfer window. And Kane started playing really poorly for so many weeks. He scored only once in so many matches but he was still in the starting eleven of course. Maybe with the touch of Antonio Conte, he started playing more eager to score. But I still think that he will be thinking of leaving as long as he gets another offer by Manchester City.
see his goal record is far down and far from expectations however yesterday's game against liverpool I didn't see kane under transfer pressure, he played pretty well. hopefully he can move on accept his current condition when Spurs need a quality striker like him and get rid of his ego to move to another team for a while. there's nothing wrong staying at Spurs for while in this season and scoring more goals because maybe the next transfer window offer will be more tempting for him and the club so it can't be denied.

it seems like even with the ability to look at an action several times is not enough for those people behind the screens and there multiple guys watching as well, it's really suspicious that all of them could miss it and not call it, maybe VAR technology is not enough to prevent mistakes from the referees and doesn't stop them from being biased as well.
I'm one of them who does not agree with the var system because it's much washing time while the game is being played. it needs about 5 minutes over and the time onboard is not frozen, keeps running.

If your main reason to not agree with VAR because it wastes the time and reduce the actual time of the game, you are wrong because the taken time for the VAR will be added into to added time after the 90th minute. For me VAR system like a double edged sword. One side it reduces the art of soccer such as  in case of offside where it can make a goal is disallowed because of one millimeter offside, on the other side it helps the fairness of the game in case of wrong decision by referee such as an extremely offside but sideline referee consider it as onside.

I think var is very important in football, because that way the referee can minimize mistakes in making decisions for both teams, besides that var can at least make both teams feel fair and not controversy arises over referee decisions, before var was applied in football, sometimes we often find that the referee decision is in favor of the big team and detrimental to the small team, but now all teams can get a fair decision, although sometimes there are still controversial decisions taken by the referee but at least it can make football livelier.

Have you heard the news about what team has been postponed?, MU is one, and idk when they can continue, I look at the schedule for 28 Dec vs Newcastle.

Yes, it is very difficult to accept when the chance to play at a club like Manchester City is disrupted. I think that Kane had already decided everything for himself last season and was counting on a gentleman's agreement with the owner of the club Levi, there was also a sincere interest from Manchester City and Pep Guardiola personally, so it was a big shock for the player that the transition failed and it affected the level of the game. I remember that with all the ambiguity of the stage of being the head coach of Tottenham Jose Mourinho, there is information that the Portuguese had a beneficial effect on Kane's self-esteem and his development as a player. Perhaps we will see something similar with the arrival of Antonio Conte.
