The squad lineup by Chelsea against Wolves is formidable enough, I don't think Thomas Tuchel has any excuse for attributing his lacklustre performance to the absence of covid-19 infested players, he had earlier called for the postponement of the match which was rejected, Chelsea has loss form that is take on this issue, the likes of James, Rudiger, Kante, Mount, Ziyech etc these are quality players that is capable of defeating any EPL mid table team, the manager should try and improve on his team for him to compete with the other clubs.

As a Tottenham Hotspur fan am very impressed with the performance but disappointed with the result,spurs would have won the game by 3 goals to nothing in the first half if they were clinical enough,but they were not and drew the game,but they is alot of improvement in the performance is been long I saw Tottenham play this way against a top team like Liverpool.
As I can see in 1st half, the Spurs have many advantages which can't execute very well by Kane, Son, and Delle but so far Conte's strategy is enough impressive they are just a bit careless on defense, the same situation with Liverpool. With 3 games didn't play yet if Tottenham wins that all they will be on the big 4.At first I thought of collaboration between Son and Kane again like last season It's just that today it looks not perfect but this is a good start if they keep doing it
On this side I actually supported Liverpool but also impressed to see Tottenham's players there was an increase from the previous weeks

With the way Manchester city is playing once again, its safe to say that these guys can actually win it for this season has the likely contenders such as Chelsea seem to have been dropping points to be taken as serious contenders. 
This season at the start of the league arsenal played very badly but after the mid-half of the season the surprises came and now arsenal is in 4th position. This is a surprise from the magic of the EPL.

On the other hand, I actually regretted Tottenham's game at the last minute because they actually had a chance after winning in the number of players.

Yes a red card in the 77th minute Tottenham should be able to take advantage of that opportunity but unfortunately no. you guys keep forgetting in this discussion that Chelsea lost three !! key players due to Corona and they are far from losing their rank 3 in the table. Let's see where they are in 3 weeks from now. I bet that they will recover from this streak and win their 3 points again. It is still a very balanced team with a strong offense and a very strong defense. Only because the results aren't as good for 2 weeks or so doesn't mean that they are out of the competition.

Chelsea's performance is currently disrupted due to Omicron and also a storm of injuries that still haunts some of its players.
So far, actually, if you look at the game with a lot of second-tier players, it's actually not bad because some of their core players like Cante or even on the front lines like Havertz haven't even been seen in the last few games due to his injury.
I feel when the players recover actually their performance will improve again but I think to be able to compete for the title will be very difficult. because Liverpool was an example of the same last season as this one

Chelsea have lost the form they were in,and are now settling for draw.They are still sitting third,but if care is not taken,they might lose their place to Arsenal who are more hungry to be in top four this season.
Arteta really want to be in top four and together with the boys are doing everything possible to be above Chelsea who are now dwindling in performance each day.

The game which I really enjoyed watching the most was absolutely the Tottenham - Liverpool one. I was hoping to see a good competition already but this was more than I expected honestly. Because we saw a great effort by each team, the game started being more watchable. I didn't get bored in any half thanks to the high tempo of the game. Liverpool made a really good comeback from a 1-0 score to 1-2. But Tottenham balanced things in only five minutes and the final result was 2-2. I was happy to see Kane scoring one goal also.
Manchester City did the expected thing and obliterated Newcastle with a 4-0 score. But I must admit that Newcastle played without fear. The things they tried to make happen were worth appreciating absolutely. They found important goal opportunities also but couldn't make use of any of them. And unfortunately, Chelsea drew with Wolves with a 0-0 score. This caused them to be more away from Manchester City.
really unlucky chelsea was held to a draw by wolves 0-0, otherwise they will definitely be able to catch up a bit with man city. Talking about man city, I'm not surprised to see them win 4-0 from newcastle because since the beginning of the match, man city has dominated the game, even in the 5th minute dias make a goal for man city.
It's a perfect week for Man City team and their fans as they slowly pull away from the chasing Liverpool and Chelsea. They also drew level on goal difference with LFC at 35 and that could be significant by the end of the season.

I wouldn't say that Chelsea is out of the race. No way, they are still able to beat the top teams if they meet each other head to head in the league. They just can't afford to lose more points against average teams from the Premier League anymore.
We knew that if Man city got to that first position on the table, it wasn't going to be easy for other teams tipped to win the EPL like Chelsea & Liverpool to topple them. Chelsea for me has chosen the wrongest time in the season to be dropping points. They will be starting January against Liverpool in a home game, and Manchester City afterwards, two opponents you will want to play with high morale. I hope they can get back to winning ways from their next fixture against Aston villa.
They probably haven't "chosen" to lose points right now. They would never choose to lose any points if it were up to them. They are just out of luck, exactly the luck that they had during the first 10 - 12 games or so. Also keep in mind who was missing today because of Covid: Werner, Lukaku and Hudson-Odoi. That is very hard and you can't compensate for those three players. Now I guess they even have to play the boxing days without the three.
