I think Liverpool was also fortunate to get a point since there are still plenty of time after the Robertson red card. Funny how you score a likely winning goal but kick out few mimutes later hehe.

I wouldn't say that Chelsea is out of the race. No way, they are still able to beat the top teams if they meet each other head to head in the league. They just can't afford to lose more points against average teams from the Premier League anymore.
We knew that if Man city got to that first position on the table, it wasn't going to be easy for other teams tipped to win the EPL like Chelsea & Liverpool to topple them. They probably haven't "chosen" to lose points right now. They would never choose to lose any points if it were up to them. They are just out of luck, exactly the luck that they had during the first 10 - 12 games or so. Also keep in mind who was missing today because of Covid: Werner, Lukaku and Hudson-Odoi. That is very hard and you can't compensate for those three players. Now I guess they even have to play the boxing days without the three.

Tottenham vs Liverpool was a very superb match today. Conte's team is much better than their old version now. If Tottenham were still playing with their old game plan, Liverpool would have destroyed them by a big margin most likely. But thanks to the new system, they were almost defeating Liverpool. After a fierce fight, it ended up with a result like 2-2.

Today Tottenham did give Manchester city breathing space. Tottenham started the match with a goal . Its had for Manchester city to score more goals. I think Tottenham defence is Very hard for Manchester city .
you are wrong, Tottenham against Liverpool while man city against Newcastle. it was a good match, I like how both teams attack each other. but it's a shame that Tottenham was only able to hold Liverpool to a draw at home, even though I was initially very sure that Tottenham could win but Jota and Robertson made Tottenham fail to win. Anyway, a challenging game and Liverpool wasn't able to hold the 1 goal difference for more than 5 minutes. The red card made the situation more complicated and Spurs weren't able to profit from that.
Arsenal defeated Leeds in their away game by 4-1 yesterday. And their performance was too good that they fully deserved this huge victory. There has been a really visible difference in their performance in the recent times and it looks like they can keep this for a longer time. And today, Chelsea lost points again. They drew with Wolves by 0-0 this time and the point difference with the leader has increased to 6.
It was a poor performance from chelsea today not many goal chances only one shot on goal it was a logical and fair score wolves are a tough team to crack and chelsea are on a bad streak, even liverpool team droped two points today despite being ahead on the second half they didnt manage to win against tottenham and now with this score they are 3 points away from city and 3 from chelsea it seems this week was beneficial for man city.

Chelsea and Liverpool are both losing points and allowing City a comfortable distance. I hope that soon we will see a decline in City - otherwise there is a risk that it will be a boring championship again where the leader has a large lead and even a couple of failures do not threaten his position. Yep these results are what I am expecting. I think the premier league is going to be boring if all top 4 teams keep on winning. Whats the point of turning EPL into Ligue 1 or Bundesliga though? These results are what makes EPL different from all the other league out there
Of course, we give a lot of hope to other clubs to be able to compete with each other for the ideal position that is always changing. It's just that big clubs are often in first and third place. Son actually had a good chance to add a goal in the minutes before the match ended, but he failed to find the goal. The finishing is not good enough to make Tottenham have to be satisfied with the draw even though in reality they have to regret it.
Harry Kane finally scored in the Premier League today after giving a very long break. This was his second goal in this season of the league. And he missed some other big goal chances too. He could have even made a hat-trick. And I really liked Tottenham in this game. They were so eager to win but Liverpool managed to keep the score at 2-2 till the end. I appreciate the performances of both teams.
Both played very well, it's just that when the red card, Liverpool's position was seen to be defensive and attracted players to strengthen the rear defense so that they were willing to accept attacks from Tottenham's forward players, especially Son who was quite aggressive in assisting with a pass from Kane. In fact, if Tottenham had more time, they might have scored one more goal. Final score 2-2 is probably a fair result for both teams without changing the position in the standings Liverpool are a bit lucky after playing with 10 players Tottenham are not able to score the 3rd goal so tottenham wasted chances.
