The simple truth is that Old is not fit for Manchester United.
I am not sure to claim that Ole isn't suitable for Man United. Maybe we need to give him more time to show his capacity to manage Man United. Who knows if he can lead Man united to win EPL league this season. There are still many remaining matches, there is still a chance for him.

With the caliber of players Man-u have in their team, they should be competing for the champions league trophy, because they have one of the best midfield in the world,in the combination of Pogba and Fernandes.Ronaldo and Sancho is upfront, therefore winning shouldn't have been a problem.
You are right, Man United has many great players. But these players seem not to play very solid, they need more time to play better as a team. Although a team has many top players, it doesn't guarantee to win. They need good teamwork and solidly to play in a match. I agree this is the coach's job to make them be solid and have good teamwork.

The comparison between Ole and Klopp looks as funny as it gets. During the period when Klopp managed Liverpool, they came in third once, second once and champions once, played in champions league finals twice, won one of them. So if nothing else, we are talking about one premier league title, and one UCL with Klopp. Looking at Ole, what does he have? Zero champions league, zero premier league, and hell even lost Europa league on the finals against flibbering Villareal.

So, I am sorry if you think Ole could be a better manager, or even slightly close, it is a huge margin if you ask me. Klopp is by far the better manager, not even close. The results of "how many games did they won" is not important when one of them have championships to show for while the other has nothing to show for.

Yes I just discussed this in another thread and you pretty much nailed it. Even if it is not for strategic capabilities as a coach, guys like Klopp, Ferguson, Guardiola, maybe Tuchel and now even someone like Nagelsmann have something very special that coaches like Solskjaer, Lampard or even Koeman in Barcelona lack. I don't know, I sometimes watch these coaches and it is just that they lack something. It doesn't even matter whether I know or not if they are indeed strategic masterminds. Their presence as coaches just doesn't connect with what I like about the other coaches I mentioned.

Edit: Remember this one guys?

Interesting, I will count on Arsenal, they have enough challenges to keep Aston Villa away. Although Arsenal's next match in the EFL against Leeds united is not a big threat, in the following match Arsenal must be wary of Leicester United's movements. Do not let them really cause failure like MU at that time. Although many say Manchester United's defeat was from Ole selfishness, I might see Arsenal can overcome Leicester United.

Both are not an option to bet, the defeat of both is enough to make the game sensation of the two teams not too good. Even as Pulsar77 said that the past two weeks have both shown poor play and it is difficult to get into the top 8. they need 4 goals to enter.

to achieve the glory of Manchester United in the Ferguson era will be difficult. Ferguson coached for a long time at Manchester United. and of course it becomes very difficult for some of the Manchester United coaches who are chasing him.
but I also heard about Manchester United contacting Zidane. reportedly it was a recommendation from MU megastar Ronaldo.
what do you think about this news?

In today's era, coaches don't take long to serve at the club for a maximum of 3 seasons, if they fail in these 3 seasons, the management will fire him, so it will be very difficult to find a coach like Sir Alex Ferguson who is decades old and he already knows what the strengths and weaknesses of the team are Ferguson's tenure.

Well I heard this news a few days ago and it was on Ronaldo's suggestion to contact Zidane so hopefully it will be positive and Zidane will respond well and hope that with Ronaldo at manchester united Zidane will be willing to accept the offer from Manchester.

There has been a lot of discussion, and this has even become the hottest topic on Twitter, how the hashtag #Oleout has been trending a few days ago since MUFC defeat by Leicester United. But the manager still secures Ole to be able to accept all the criticism, we'll see even though MUFC victory over Atalanta is not something that is too amazing. Considering Atalanta, who are in Group F, it is clear that they will inevitably have great difficulty in qualifying.

In my personal view Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still a good coach although indeed, there is still no trophy he has won so far but I don't think it will be a problem as long as Ole can still keep United part of the top teams in the table. Let's look at the list of Manchester United coaches after the Alex Ferguson era, namely David Moyes, Ryan Giggs, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho, all of which can still provide trophies for United for at least 2-3 seasons except Giggs. But the trophies won are limited to domestic cups and yes, one in international trophies like the Europa League in the Mourinho era.
I saw that even after Ferguson left, none of the coaches who came to Manchester United could revive the glory of Manchester United so far, and even Manchester United won the EPL champion last time in the Ferguson era, Morinho who was allegedly the next Ferguson in Manchester not being able to help them to win the EPL, in my opinion of the several coaches you mentioned above, Moyes and Solkjaer are the coaches who have failed the most to handle Manchester.

Now Solskjaer position at Manchester United is being threatened, it is even reported that Manchester United match against Liverpool will determine Solskjaer fate later, and if the news you share is true, of course now the Manchester United squad is just waiting for the time to welcome their new coach. In my opinion, than Zidane, Conte is actually a better coach for manchester united, because so far Conte has experience in coaching several different clubs and he even has more experience than Zidane, but maybe Ronaldo influence as a Manchester star will definitely make Manchester management United are considering Zidane as a replacement for Solskjaer.

I see that we are opening this match week with the Arsenal - Aston Villa game. Both of these teams are in a poor condition lately. Actually, Arsenal didn't lose in their last 6 official games and they had a good winning streak at the same time. But they couldn't win any game for two weeks. They performed really poorly against Brighton first. And they had a nice opportunity to make up for it against C. Palace. However, they were nearly losing to them if it weren't for the Lacazette's goal in the last minute. They need to gather themselves up ASAP. And Aston Villa lost their last two games in the EPL. They are not so different in the table than Arsenal. But they defeated Arsenal away in their last head-to-head here by 3-0. I assume that Arsenal will have a very tough time against them. Maybe both teams can score but it might end in a draw.
Arsenal is the most favorite in this game, because is their home match. Aston villa can't easily beat Arsenal, so the match is likely to end draw. Although, am not underestimating them, this is Football, and anything can happen. Sometimes, the match might end in favor of Aston Villa. But, I think Arsenal have to play more carefully to avoid losing. They were just lucky last week to achieve a draw point from their match against Crystal Palace. Nevertheless, Aston Villa are currently a point behind Arsenal on the standings, and winning the match means a lot to them. The match is probably going to be very interesting.

....
Ole Gunnar himself emphasizes this, saying that the team has been progressing for years and first took third place, then second place,
We may not like what's happening right now but we cannot deny the past results. He must be in a lot of pressure for him to remind us of those data. I mean we can easily see them hehe.

...
...
Ole seems still cannot find a proper strategy to use for Man United. He also often made a mistake in choosing starting players or substituting players in a match. I don't know what's happening with him, I think he isn't a new coach and this must be easy to solve this problem. Or the real problem is on the players, they probably aren't very disciplined and not have a strong mentality to win every single match.

It's probably a combination of. Players are expected to be sharp in all games while the manager has the duty to field players in top shape.

it has now been announced that newcastle has decided to part ways with coach Steve Bruce by mutual agreement.
after the investor takeover, this is the first logical step to bring the magpies to another higher level in the pl.
there are also already probably 2 candidates who are traded as his successor ... B. Rodgers currently at leicester and L. Favre currently without a club.
the compensation for S. Bruce amounts to about €8 million

So there are only 2 options for the new coach ? this is not what we imagined how he handles top players
we wait for the big announcement I hope it's only temporary at least before the new season starts

Brendon Rodgers already said that he is happy at Leicester and won't be accepting Newcastle job and as for L Favre, it could be a possibility. I am sure that they will be having more than 2 candidates for the manager role. They will be rejected a lot right now but I think they will have good luck with someone who was sacked a long time ago and has been without a team for a while.

Manchester United players are not happy with their coach and are not happy with his tactics,I think his future depends on his performance for this weekend games against Liverpool,I heard Christiano Ronaldo has been asking some of the top Manchester United personnel's to go out for Zidane why Pogba is accusing the team in public for not being mature.
Mu should have changed coach for a long time but the boss is in no hurry to do this because they remember the beginning of Ser Alex's career and therefore give time to Solskjaer....
Should another string of losses and an early exit of champions league football follow, and a loud cry from the fans to sack Ole...then I don't see how Solskjaer will be kept for another season!

Quote
As for me it is better to hire a new coach and if Zidane is ready then this is the best candidate.
The players should understand that MU are not Chelsea here will not take the side of the players although we'll see how it will be
A new coach this time around isn't easy to come by because all the good ones are committed with other clubs

and if this move happens we risk getting worse results than it already is, so for now Solskjaer is fine imo, let's see how the game can change playing around Cristiano Ronaldo.

I'm pretty sure Steve Bruce knew it was just a matter of time before the Newcastle owners do away with him, they are now a rich club and can afford any manager of their choice, and definitely they'll need a top manager to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve. Having said that, another thing that attracts good players is the manager of the team, for example, so many players have moved to clubs coached by Pep Guardiola cause they want to link up with him and be tutored by him. Newcastle would want a world class or at least a top manager that can help them get the players they'll start to aim for in the next transfer window, this is all part of the gradual overhaul that will take place at the club, very soon, it's going to be the turn of the players, many will leave on mutual consent, loaned, sold, etc, this it to make space for better players that can challenge for trophies

It is very unfortunate that Steve Bruce has to leave the club now having managed them in the past three seasons coming 13th and 12th in the past season respectively despite the club not having quality players in the team, while their fans are not in support of Steve I think the best bet for him is to quit so that the club can appoint a new manager that will escape them from relegation zone, now that the owners are ready to inject huge funds into the  club to buy quality players, but the main priority for the club now is to remain in EPL at all cost.
It's no surprise that Steve Bruce eventually had to leave Newcastle, because indeed since Newcastle have a new investor with unlimited funds,
there have been many rumors about Newcastle will bring in a great coach. So Steve Bruce will be replaced it's just a matter of time, I also believe
Bruce realized that sooner or later he would be replaced, So Bruce left Newcastle with a sincere heart. After all, Newcastle had to change coaches
and bring in some star players, to at least get Newcastle out of the relegation area. So that Newcastle can survive in the Premier League,
and I believe Newcastle this season can get out of the relegation area with big financial support.

I agree with you. With the takeover from Saudi Arabia, Newcastle now has almost unlimited funds and they are now keen to build a dream team within the next 4 or 5 seasons. So if a team is built around the best players in the world, A better coach is needed. I'm not saying that Bruce was a bad coach but a better one is needed to handle star players. I'm not sure who's available or not but I think Conte, Zidane, or Lampard could be a good fit for building Newcastle.

That way Ole must provide memories for MU to make an impression as a coach who donated a trophy in this match. Unfortunately Ole was not able to provide that, but there are opportunities left and must be used as opportunities for Ole to prove that he is showing the trophy in front of United loyal followers. Is that possible with the quality of MU strategy currently in disarray?
