@Globb0 I definitely remember when it was "boring" haha. Damn!

Arsenal recovered pretty fast. They won their last 3 league games. They didn't concede a goal in last 2 matches. They also beat Newcastle United in FA Cup 5 days ago and clean sheet serie is still going on.
I expect Arsenal to win this match and extend their winning series to 4 league games.

But Palace at 6/1 is even more interesting, is it not? I actually think it's really good value, given that Palace have a propensity for a few upsets of their own (when they're not being thrashed, that is). As long as Zaha's on form (and he is), he's always a threat, whether scoring himself or turning provider. Benteke as the foil.

This is a classic. When you are not able to score more than one goal although you had a lot of opportunities the other team even if it is weaker can equalize you. This happened to Tottenham and Manchester City was lucky to win considering Brighton put a lot of pressure on them.I lost my bet yesterday as I played a double with City and Tottenham to win.

Well, Tottenham draw last night against fulham is what happens when you defend a one goal lead instead of applying pressure and trying to win. Tottenham indeed had more possession last night; but Fulham dominated territory and had a deserved point. Mourinho needs to stop his park the bus tactics. Tottenham could be 4 points above Arsenal tonight if Arsenal win at home to crystal palace.
I knew Mourinho tactic is "packing the bus" style of play which has come back to hunt his team yesterday, if he continues with this style of play he will pay dearly for it, EPL is now becoming very competitive any flop from the top team will give opportunity to teams below them to move up, its not Arsenal alone that is closing on the point with them teams like Chelsea, Aston Villa, Southampton and West ham will move above them if they are not careful. Fulham utilized their chances and score the vital goal against a highly rated Tottenham they deserve that draw.

Yes,,, hard to swallow the result and even harder to swallow the reality is that my team Spurs can never challenge for the title if all we do is rely on Kane and Son game after game. And to see them have their hearts break when we concede just kills me,,, I have always said it of course, now to look and see if Gareth Bale helps relieve the pressure.

Really disappointed with the Spurs draw at home (lost my parlay with Man City).

~ Aresenal play Plalace later on tonight. Finally a chance to say aressenal have the form. Not many times this season and home advantage.
I find this match tricky. Arsenal have finally put up a winning streak but looking back at the stats, they haven't won against Crystal Palace in their last four matches. Could this be another draw?

City were lucky I hafd my usual brighton feeling. City could easily have dropped the bike.

But, they didn't - 3 points is all

Here is the table, its exciting to see it each time now. Remember when it was boring?  Smiley

That's just Mourinho's style of play. Score one goal and then zit deep to defend it throughout the duration of the match. He did it against Stoke EFL cup quarter-finals; took an early lead and didn't bother to double their lead before Stoke equalized. The same happened yesterday. Tottenham was even lucky to get a draw out of that game because Fulham kept pressing hard and had a couple of chances to take the lead. Tottenham also had plenty of chances but they threw it away like that Son shot that hit the lower end of the post.  I lost on Tottenham too but I had them to win or draw in another slip so I'm at breakeven.

De bruyne missed his penalty and now Sterling. Manchester City really needs to work on this. It would have been perfect if only the penalty went in
Some coaches might not take that as some critical problem to be solved, this actually is very import for the club to be Lok into. Penalty kick is a way easy win for clubs, same happened with Liecester few match ago where Ihaenacho missed penalty making Liecester managing the 1:0 win. Aguero I think the penalty kicker for Man city and that needs to be fixed if he's absent.
Mahrez takes pens as well. They have a lot of pen takers. Probably just giving everyone a chance I suppose. Probably next in line if there's a pen. If there's no kun.

Tell me something more Spursy than them leading 1-0 for a long time and then defending most of the game while not converting their chances and then conceding late game. That's been a typical theme. If it was an away game for them, then it would sort of been justified but at home. You should dominate a mid-lower end of the table team.

I hope Solskjaer and Guardiola will be able to maintain parity in the season for as long as possible, and Liverpool will not fall out of the fight.
Imo very soon it's going to fall into a three horse race between City, Liverpool and United, that's only if Manchester United can maintain this their good form, they are more erratic than not, so I wouldn't be surprised if they lose form and start falling out of the race. Having said that, Liverpool's next match is against United, that's another big game and a chance for either of the teams to make a statement, I think the game will end in a draw, and I'm quite sure City fans will want that too, so if they win Crystal Palace they'll close points on both teams.

Penalty are good chances but if we see an overview of the match then there were many chances created but only attempt from Foden landed into back of the net. I actually had under 2.5 goals in that match but honestly there should have been more goals from City. Anyway still it landed 3 points in their pocket and they move up on the table.

Now they are 3rd on the table and still one match behind then the teams above them on the table. Good for Guardiola after starting it slowly they still managed to climb up the table. Next match is up against Crystal Palace.

Not your keys, not your coins!
15 shots on goal and Mourinho wasnt depending on counterattack though. It was an unfortunate draws especially against Fulham which stands at the bottom three of the table
Spurs controlled the match but they are unlucky with the shot of Son Heung Min that hit the goal pillar. One missing goal as off-line and if in that situation, Lamela passes the ball faster 2 or 3 seconds, it would be different for Spurs.

This match, one goal from Kane, one missing goal from Son, one missing keypass from Son, hmm, Spurs are depending too much on Kane and Son.

Spurs are playing good in this season but I am feeling a lack of championship's characteristics from their team. At some moments, they missed some important points or lack of concentration. The league is on going, everything can happen and Spurs have lot of time to fix their problems and wait for mistakes from other teams. They can fight and hope but first, Mourinho has to fix his team.

Pogba could possibly sign for PSG I don't see him going to back to Juventus.
Can PSG handle Pogba's expensive transfer fee and wage?
This is funny have you looked up Neymar, Mbappe and Icardi weekly wages? Mbappe and Neymar earns more than Pogba, if PSG are ready to pay Messi who is the most expensive player then who is Pogba.
Funny how exactly? I know they have Neymar and Mbappe that's why I asked if they can add Pogba while keeping the other two. You may be missing what has happened since last year. Every football club's revenue was hit by the pandemic. Have they made an official offer to buy Messi? When was that? Pre-covid?

Those are expensive points that Tottenham leaves at home. Were leading 1-0 with fifteen minutes to play. Still gone wrong. They had started the season very strongly, but have fallen back a bit.

My predictions for today's game were inaccurate Undecided ok City won but with only one goal difference while I expected them to score more but the worst thing is seeing Spurs losing 2 points vs Drawham...
Next game in EPL is Arsenal's one. Bookies are in favor of Arsenal x1.58 vs x5.8. However I expect a draw. Last season wasn't successful for them, will the gunners blow up that Crystal Palace?

My money is on them winning so it should be fun to watch.

It seems you lose your money on Tottenham. It was a bold bet, Tottenham had around 1.6x odds on moneyline. I wouldnt bet on favourites with less than 1.8 odds though, just definitely not my type of bet . I would love to parlay it but no chance for a single slip

Yes I did. But that was for a betbuilder bet. Other selections like cards, total booking points and even U/O selections came through, it was just remaining Tottenham to win to bring the bet home. Tottenham were the favorites against Fulham so the odds did seem pricey to me that's why I took it. So it was painful to watch them relax after that first half goal. Well, I also had Tottenham double chanced in my max-bet just in case so I was able to break-even despite Tottenham bottled the game.
