Ronaldo's fitness is excellent, and he is very hardworking, and so despite his age, everyone likes his performance. I agree with you. He no longer needs to be a playmaker. He will now only hold his position, and all the players will help him to score goals. Manchester United has great players like Bruno and Pogba to help.
In fact, due to the loss of speed (but at the same time fully preserving the understanding of the game and the vision of the field), Ronaldo can quite successfully be a playmaker and manage the direction of attacks. At the same time, when playing set pieces, he can easily score a large number of goals due to his height, ability to make free kicks and play with his head.

Ronaldo has the potential to score a lot of goals this season. He could be the highest scorer in the premier league. He is talented and hardworking. Moreover, he will have the opportunity to score many goals from the position in which he will play for Manchester United. However, we will see in the future how Ronaldo will perform.

The Premier League's gameplay is very fast. It is normal to get injured if you perform here regularly. Moreover, Ronaldo is very old. It is normal that he will get injured. One should not expect more from him.  team.
I was thinking same before, but I just noticed Ronaldo's age will not limit him. Manchester United is expecting much from him and he will deliver.
Forget his age, strength or skills. Just think about his positioning. He has a very accurate positioning to score goals. That very advantage will keep him going even at 40. Moreover, the Ronaldo that left Man U was a playmaker, but the Ronaldo Man u has now is just a goal machine.

true, just look at hiis second goal of the game , he run like he is 18 years old daamn cristiano, he is a machine indeed.

Such a very nice competition to watch between Ronaldo and Lukaku. Lukaku had limitations of positioning when he was in England. Surprisingly he solved his problem at Italy. I will not fail to mention that Ronaldo and Lukaku are two good options for player to score. I cash out with Ronaldo to score. And it will work for the main time.

I would not want to bet against Ronaldo since I am a big fan but since it is going to be a rivalry of who will win the premier league, I will put my bet on lukaku outscoring Ronaldo. Ronaldo will be given all the penalty, free kick and all scoring opportunity so it will be fair to say he is likely to come out victorious but lukaku will have to work for his goals and thankfully he is becoming good at doing just that.

Still though, it is going to be an interesting season so let just seat back and watch this two entertain us with goals because they will be getting alot of them. Ronaldo score two yesterday and Lukaku replied with his own two goals hours later.
4 matches and people talking about the rivalry between lukaku and cristiano, with all due respect cristiano is a goal machine but he is not in his prime form while lukaku are in his prime ... lukaku would be proggressive while cristiano might gets up and down in scoring and performing.
so yeah lukaku would be favorited between the two and on the otherside bruno would looking for another way to score just like he did yesterday with that screamer. bruno are on the list , dont forget that.

Leeds vs Liverpool team lineups are out:

Leeds : Meslier, Firpo, Llorente, Cooper, Ayling, Phillips, Dallas, Harrison, Rodrigo, Raphinha, Bamford.

Subs: Klaesson, Struijk, Cresswell, Shackleton, Klich, Summerville, James, McCarron, Roberts.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Elliott, Thiago; Salah, Jota, Mane.

Subs: Milner, Konate, Kelleher, Jones, Keita, Gomez, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tsimikas.

Liverpool don't need no introduction but with the Reds defense looking like it's returned to normal with the return of its big guns, I don't see them losing this afternoon,  am just hoping Mane or Jota get on the scoresheet to defuse the Salah demands, before he feels his bigger than the team.

My prediction Leeds 0-2 Liverpool

From watching Leed's matches, I realized that they were probably changing tactics. They want to play on a somewhat defensive strategy and emphasize counterattack. It seems they have not been able to stabilize their defense yet. Has drawn 2 out of 3 matches and lost one. They had more ball possession in 3 matches, it will take more time for the team to stabilize.
Yup, Leeds has improved their strategy in 3 matches. After they have been beaten by MU with 5 goals, they understand how to manage their tactics to fight with another team. In the next matches with Everton, They held on to a draw with a score of 2-2. Yes, even though the team they are facing is not as strong as MU, this is still a form of their struggle to maintain their position in the Premier League standings. Liverpool, if they underestimate Leeds, will potentially be defeated by them, but if they continue to use a good strategy then this is a golden opportunity to be at the top of the standings with MU's score difference only 3 points adrift

After conceding 5 goals against Manchester United, Leeds United realized how weak the defense was. Moreover in every match we have seen a lot of Leeds players attacking, but could not score too many goals. Their forward lineup is not weak. The Leeds team will be more stable if they can strengthen the defense. If the team is stable, the strikers will be inspired to perform better

Very wonderful analysis here. I cannot agree lesser. Leeds is a team that plays and aswell allows their opponents to play. They score and allow their opponents to score. But, they are actually changing strategy.  If they can achieve the defensive but counter attacking minded football they want to play, it will be nice for the club. But, I fear it's somewhat experimental. You don't experiment in EPL.
That is why Manchester United tactical coach will always play Fred and Mc Tommny 😅😅He doesn't want to experiment with VDB Grin

Maybe stop copy-pasting stuff badly rewritten from the internet, and then taping on your own random uninformed drivel. Leeds never aims for a draw. Also, don't know what the hell people like you been watching (of course, I know you've never watched a single game hence the magical fantasy you're spouting), Leeds have been called a lot of things, but weak is the first I've heard.
Leed are tough as nail, especially their last season in the English championship, and also when they came to the premier league last season, they did well and I think they deserved respect from all teams, but this season from their first Match against manchester united, Leeds were not strong, and their other matches hasn't been like the respected Leeds of before.

Everybody knows that Leed united is a good side. They have been performing well and maintaining their style of play. I think they are the only Underdogs that play like a big team. Marcelo Bielsa, a very tactical coach knows his players and makes them keep possession. Normally they have a specific way of playing big games with a very strict one-on-one marking idea. And also maintain their very dynamic possession. Unfortunately, this pattern have been failing them lately because of poor defence. That is the only drawback in the Leeds team. They need to fix that to stay competitive in the league.

I think that not important with Manchester City how many goal made when faced with Leicester City just they can get three points and win, many club specially with Jose Mourinho as coach always try to win and not care with football style and ball possession, but one goal is very risk how ever have chance for other team to make goal exactly on last minutes, but win two or three goal make game is finish and against is hard to win again.

I am as surprised as you are. No good soccer analyst will refer to Leeds as weak. Leeds are fighters, goal getting team. Infact they contest possession with every team they played against. Assuming it was Leeds that played City this week, they would have gotten a goal. He can accuse Leeds of every damn thing, but not as weakness.
Leeds are not that week team, they are also still strong at some extent, that is why the club is even among the EPL clubs, also strong to some extent in the EPL, but there are some clubs that Leeds will really find it difficult and such club will played them in and out in a way they will be exhausted and more goals will be scored. With Liverpool more chance is that Leeds might lose today because the chance to win is very small while the chances that Liverpool will win is high, though it away match for Liverpool.
I won't underestimate a club from the EPL because I know we can't predict that Leeds can get better even if this assumption has happened before, so this is not a weak assumption, it's just that the team they are playing against is a great team.
Predictably of course we will see a defeat to Liverpool to Leeds but I believe this can change if Leeds looks stunning, but I think all teams will try to match or win each other.

This lineup with Sancho on the left really did look good yesterday. However, they did play against a weak team and there is no way that a Pogba - Matić (or whoever will play alongside him) combination will be enough against teams that will press hard and know how to keep possession.

I still want to see them in tougher games before concluding that they look like challengers, on paper their offensive line really looks strong though.
Pogba is very careless and a midfielder in the central who plays together with Pogba have to work hard. Matic is a good defensive defender but he is old and can not play well in all matches. Mc Tomminay looks good but he is unstable. Perhaps because he is young and need more experience to improve himself.

Fantastic start from Cristiano Ronaldo. Since 2013, he has become the oldest goal scorer to score for Manchester United. He will break this record continuously until the end of this year. He's a great player. Manchester United are a very lucky team to have the CR7. They managed to beat Newcastle United 4-1. Bruno Fernandes and Ronaldo will do very well.
Ronaldo scored 2 goals and he rejected the substitution request from the coach because he wanted to get a hattrick. Ronaldo is always obsessed with goals.

The coach will have to do the same as what Zidane did in Real Madrid, gives Ronaldo rest in unimportant matches or when in matches when the club already 100% win. How to do this and don't make Ronaldo unhappy is the art. Will the coach be able to do this?

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is a true coach. I like that he reads football. If they don't have a problem with tactical conversions, I think they'll get along very well with the CR7. For Ronaldo, the importance of the first match was very different. I understand that he wants to hit a hat-trick. Ole gave him a chance. Of course, CR7 would have had to quit if he wanted to be removed from the game. I think CR7 will be rested especially before derby matches.  Big games are more important for Manchester United now.

I'm so sorry to say this but Ole Gunner Solskjaer is very poor tactically, he plays with the help of he's team against top notch teams you'll see how he handles matches poorly.
The season is still a long way to go we'll get to see this, when he doesn't win a trophy with this team then Manchester United should get him sacked immediately.
I can remember vividly the match against Villarreal, we had the chance to win that game but Ole Gunner Solskjaer was pretty poor at he's decision making.

Under-dogs that plays like Champions, when you have a good leader the disciple follows suit.
I'm vexed, irked already at this condemning Leeds United, they hurt Manchester City, Liverpool badly last season.
We all saw how they played against man utd at the start of the league if not for the masterclass of Manchester United midfielders, that game would have been won by leeds.
Young lads they've got there doing a great job... he's wrong saying ill of them.

The 1st place in the Premier League standings seems to be held by Man United, even though Liverpool will be against a weak team Leeds United but to be able to win by a goal difference of 4 is not an easy task.

The match will be played at Elland Road, and this condition will usually make the host play fiercely. In their first 3 matches in the Premier League, Leeds hasn't won once, and I think they definitely want to change that situation but this time their opponent is Liverpool, even though they faced Liverpool with all their might, Liverpool is still a big team that is hard to beat. I guess Leeds will aim for a draw, while Liverpool will aim to win.

Leeds are pretty much unpredictable team. They were in good season and I expect them to give Liverpool trouble this season as well. Liverpool have a very good squad and quite clear favourites but you never know even Leeds might surprise them. Now I am not a Leeds fan but still I am not ruling out the chance of Leeds giving Liverpool a surprise here.

Should be an interesting game as usually all Liverpool games are and Leeds one too.
