Yeah it is but wonder what kind of special treatment is being given to Cristiano Ronaldo. Reports were that United requested Premier League to allow the jersey no. change and in the end they allowed that.

Still anyway jersey no. doesn't matters that much. Even if he didn't got this season he would have got it next season for sure.

Arsenal do not qualify for the top five at the moment. And my guess is Arteta will lose her job soon. Arsenal need more experienced players and coaches if they want to regain their former glory.

As long as Arteta is their manager, they won't achieve anything as it is seen clearly now. And the problem is not only related to the manager of course. The players also seem like they don't even want to fight really hard for a win. They should also pull themselves together. And the most needed thing for Arsenal is bringing some qualified players. It will help the team a lot also.

Achievement and business should be something that must be balanced, because if their performance continues to decline how can their business be successful. This news can certainly make Arsenal fans feel happy but not a few of them are pressing to sack Arteta and replace him with a new coach.

Is there any official source for this or is it just plain rumour? Even if Arsenal did provide Arteta with lump sum cash, Arteta still needs to hold out until the next transfer window open. I personally think that Arsenal need to change atleast half of their entire squad because most of their players arent performing at their best ability so far

Well atleast the fans are going to be happy for their next fixture, it will be against Norwich. If somehow Arsenal cant get full 3 points against Norwich then pretty sure Arteta could be sacked though

There are rumors that Arsenal's owners have given Arteta some money as a form of support for the coach to arrange the composition of his players after the international break. Basically I support this decision because maybe Arteta hasn't had a good squad so far in many place. Defense and midfield are two place Arsenal have to pay attention. Far from good, they need to make big change in the team soon.

Arteta's credit in this team is ending day by day. The results they will get in the coming a few games will be the decider for him to stay or leave. Before hosting Tottenham, they will play two games against Norwich (H) and Burnley (A) respectively. He needs to get 6 points in these two games to gain more time here. If they lose even one point, then he will get sacked I think.
