Today we have a very interesting match at the top of the Premiership table. I don't think Man Utd is dreaming of winning the championship yet, but Leicester will surely be fighting for a place which give them a qualify for next year's Champions League. I am counting on an interesting game and a lot of goals. I bet over 2.5 goals.

Gotta agree with everyone here. United don't REALLY need to win this one BUT if OSG is a crazy guy he wants to win the title and hope he can keep putting the pressure on City, because if he somehow wins every game and City loses (who knows City distracted they already showed that when they lost to Chelsea), he will be the club legend bigger than he could ever dream.

United winning would really help us (LFC) out. For that reason I have a feeling Leicester might win Sad
Come on United, you can do it Grin

A season without Klopp and LFC in the CL would suck quite hard. I am sure however that he wouldn't leave LFC then as some have speculated. No way he will do that and they also won't fire him. The idea that Manu could win the title and City lose all of the games left is delusional for sure. Wink

Haha I understand what you mean because anything can happen in football but in this case it's really hard to happen City need just one more win to secure the title this season
And City have 3 chances against teams at lower levels then at the end of the season against Chelsea so I can conclude that 99% City are champions this year

It's obvious that Man City is still the favorites for winning the title this season. But it would be awesome and historical to see such a turn in the last 3 matches. Not that I would bet on that though... TBH I'm waiting for the opening of the transfer period... Tongue

I'm also really curious to see the United lineup today. They have Liverpool on Thursday, I would not be surprised at all if they go with their 2nd team today, give Leicester the points and then try to kill off our top 4 target on Thursday.

They could justify that move easily, saying they cannot play 3 games in such short period of time and they can say that their only priority is to have a fit team for their EL final.

Still, even like that, if we want CL football we simply have to beat United. So bring them on.

I think Leicester can beat Man U today... Judging by bookmakers' predictions, there are no clear favorites in this match, and Man U will have the Europa League final soon... I don't think they'll play with the main squad...

Europa is on 27th May so there is plenty of time for United. Still Leicester could win this today. They were unlucky in their last fixture against Newcastle but they put some good shots against them. It would be a good contest and Foxes could surprise United. They have two great strikers Iheanacho and Vardy who have scored crucial goals for Leicester this season. I am gonna go with Leicester & BTTS with a low stake just to have some fun along while watching the match.

First I will wait for the line up list of the two teams if Man united played with the main squad I would place the same bet Both teams to score
Leicester sometimes come as a surprise when against a strong team they appear to be stronger

Even though I am not a Liverpool fan, I have to admit that Klopp is one of the best coaches in the world, and Liverpool should be grateful for that.
Therefore, if really want to improve Liverpool next season, I agree with you that Klopp should be given a large budget to buy some of the players
he wants. So Klopp can maximize the strategy he uses, hopefully Liverpool management realizes that Liverpool need to buy some players for next
season. And Liverpool management gave a large enough budget to Klopp.

Yeah. It's not the first time. Klopp has proven that Liverpool made the right call to chose him to succeed Brendan Rodgers in 2015. That said, I have no problem with his tactics or strategies. I just think our current problem isn't just about klopp but an overall team issue. I'm sure Klopp will figure out what's wrong before next season starts and hopefully there would be fresh legs in place when that happens.
If he used the same strategy every game, it should be easy to read by another coach. If I don't have a mistake, Kloop was over 5 years as Liverpool coach, the others certainly know style and strategy. this is premier league, whoever coaches it shall know it, Mourinho, pep, or Wenger. this exception for Alex Ferguson, he always changes the style and strategy of every game, because of that he always success brings MU on Top.

I thought of this at some point when things started getting out of hand. I think klopp would come up with something new on the table.

Yes, things got really bad after key players got injured and Klopp started experimenting with some players playing weird position and different formations. That kind of got the team unstable and ended up producing in consistent results (win 1, lose 3). I'd say that it's not really about Klopp's strategy but an overall team problem. There's still a lot of work to be done and this season exposed it.
If it wasn't for Klopp's strategy, then next season, Liverpool will have to provide more money for the transfer process. This is to provide options for Klopp to maximize his strategy with key players as he wants. We know the capacity of a Klopp, he is not a new coach. He is an experienced coach whose Liverpool board should pay attention to the quality of transfers next season.

Liverpool have ended and loss dreaming with champion league next year and keep play on UEFA Europe league for the first tie after success win champion league and primer league trophy,

The next match of Manchester United vs Liverpool will determine the result, if Liverpool lose then it would be hard to catch up to the 4th spot because West Ham is also aiming for top 4 spot. The end results will depends on Leicester because even if Liverpool and West Ham ended up winning, they wouldnt get the top 4 spot if Leicester win their last 3 matches

If you check Leicester's fixture, their last 3 matches are horrible. Leicester will be playing against Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham so there are some good chances that Leicester might lose in any of those matches

I gave up on Liverpool missing out on champions league football next season after an extended period of terrible performances and results from the mid season till until just recently we started picking points again. Playing Europa league next year should give the team enough time to rebuild because at the moment, we are in no shape to compete in Europe.

As for Leicester's remaining fixtures, they just need to just one and maybe get a draw to seal their spot.

Well Liverpool had alot of unfortunate injuries so that affected the performance of the whole team and when most of the players are back up, its already tough to catch up to but I'd say it could be a dramatic end if somehow Liverpool ended up getting into top 4 though. Its hard but its not impossible

However the next match would be the most important match for Liverpool, If Liverpool want to fight for the top 4 spot then they will need to beat Manchester United but I honestly expect Manchester United to keep on winning  Tongue

Spurs never really gave him his system players, dude makes his teams play a certain way and if you do not give him those players, he will just be forcing players unfit for his strategy to play for him and that is not going to give you good results. Let's hope Roma doesn't do that and gets players he wants, but Arsenal will have to wait some more.

Well, i suppose you wanted to post this on transfer news. I disagree with you as regards Mourinho and Spurs; Jose got everything he wanted at Tottenham Hotspur, from a cdm in Holjberg, to attackers in Gelson and Bale, and a defensive stalwart in Regullion; he got to coach Aiderweld and Dier, that he has always wanted to sign while at MUFC; Jose is simply out of his depth with outdated tactics.

I think Mourinho already has a deal with Roma from Serie A isn't he? So Arsenal possibility (or any other team really) is already closed and not going to happen as far as I know. Maybe I heard it wrong but Roma seems to be his destination for next season. Dude was a manager for teams who were fighting for champions league, now he is not even going to be a manager for a team that fights for serie A, that is a quite good amount of drop from where he was but to be honest he had problems with front offices.

It is quite surprising about Liverpool performance this season. Their performance is much different from last season which achieved the EPL champion with very positive results on every matches. I do not know, whether because of injuries suffered by players or Klopp strategy that has not been optimal this season. In fact, I was quite optimistic at the start of the season if Liverpool could at least stay in 2-3 positions if they failed to get the title.

Fulham 0 - 2 Burnley

A beautiful night and Fulham premier league honey moon has ended as they get relegated tonight to goals from Chris Wood and Westwood; The win means that Burnley are now mathematically safe from relegation. Beautiful relegation troubles ended as Fulham, West Brom and Sheffield are down to the championship. Attention would now be on champions league spot between Leicester, Chelsea, Liverpool, and West Ham

I guessed right. I knew Fulham didn't stand a chance against Burnley. There is no way they would jeopardize their chance of playing Premier league football for another season.
