A shocking start for Man City as Aston Villa have taken an early lead from the very first minute.

Aston Villa are doing quite well after the first 10 minutes while Man City just can't get a hold of themselves, this surely is going to be one of the few tests left for Man City to pass, if they're to be crowned the EPL Champions.
City is taking control of the match. Score has levelled now. City might get an easy win in this match. Against a strong team scoring very early is not a blessing most of the time. This match could end by a wide margin.

Man City indeed have just taken the lead, and I can't help but agree that this could be end up being a riot win for Man City, they're now dominating comfortably.

Edit: Oops! Man City are down to 10 Men, John Stones have been handed his marching orders, that's a life line for Aston Villa, I suppose.

I read some title in local papers that says 30M compensation fee and that puts Mou at about 70M earned just from getting fired in his career. Damn, why I don't get that kind of money for doing my job poorly. I am definitely in wrong business  Tongue
Damn, we chose the wrong carriers Tongue
Funny part is seeing Spurs winning just few days after him being sacked.

Aston Villa scored a very very early goal then Foden made the equaliser, 1-1. City shouldn't miss points now..

It's Man City vs Aston Villa tonight and it's hard to see how this is going to go any other way than a Manchester City getting all the three points.
Aston Villa appear to be loosing momentum and confidence.
The injury and the absence of Jack Grealish has hurt them a lot as he has been the engine of the team their recent results shows how reliant on him they've become.
City need just 11 points from their final 6 league games to secure the league title.
I think it'll be 8 points from 5 league matches after tonight. So I'm going with a win for the Citizens.

In the first minute that made Aston Villa more confident now that after being rewarded the goal, Mnacity started to keep attacking with the points he wanted to get, but I was sure that Mancity could win it there was still plenty of time left and could make them stronger in the attack that continued. .

After last week's defeat, maybe this will not happen in twice as usual, the mancity can defend the EPL champion this season in any way the game is really better than other teams.

it will be hard for these clubs to act like nothing happened. These incidents will be remembered in the future too. Stepping back from this move will not change things very easily.
I do not get why people are making a big deal out of this, that is the thing I want to know. To a foreigner who is not fan of premier league clubs (as in, not a fan that supports, not as in something who dislikes, I like them all in fact) can you guys explain to me why this was a bad idea? I mean as a fan of football I would love to watch European giants get together and play in a league format, have 20 clubs that are biggest in their nations, all top 4 teams on average all the time, and that would basically make things interesting.

Shouldn't that be a good thing? I would pay good money to watch it plus I would pay good money to bet on it as well. Why would anyone not want that? It is good football, it is entertaining football. If it is all about not being in champions league, let them not be in it, we have European super league to replace that, it would have been much better frankly.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
So does this mean he wanted to sack Mourinho for the longest time but the club doesn't want to sacrifice the money? It's not the best business decision since everyone is still suffering from pandemic. Losing CL spot would make matters worse for them. I will not be surprised if they start selling their key players so they can recover what was paid.
The transfer policy will depend on the new Spurs coach, it is too early to say anything about the sale, especially of the key players. In a pandemic, it would be good not to pay compensation at all.
But hearing the news that Mourinho has paid the compensation he received, indeed during the pandemic there must be difficulties with the benefits of his management, but with the aftermath of the sale of the main players it is a bad thing just to cover up the recovery that has been paid so this should be possible. depart after they get a new coach by being able to change the squad and can be used as a reference for entry into CL qualification.
Are Spurs still on the brink of collapse so this could end up on the players?

I’m hearing Daniel Levy gave Mourinho the sack and paid him his compensation fee for being sacked cos Levy thought Super League money was coming in.  Lawl.  Cheesy

In my opinion, I consider it as a net attempt from super clubs in the Europe in order to pass the pressure to UEFA to change the Champions League's structure (acceptable clubs, allocation spots to big leagues) and furthermore, higher financial allocation for super clubs. I guess it is the ultimate aim of super clubs when they planed and announced that news.
I think it was a rumor that was circulating after ESL was announced. Perhaps it is true that the team involved in ESL have other goals such as club finances that must be met. Speculation continues to emerge regarding this polemic. We will definitely find out what the real purpose of this ESL and the team involved is.

I hope Tottenham will win today. Tottenham have not won in their last three matches. Tottenham will want to get back on the winning track with a win over Southampotn today. Tottenham had won the previous match 5-2 against Southampton. I hope Tottenham will score 3 goals today. And will win 3-1.
In general we know for sure that the EPL is the most competitive competition today. There is no team that deserves to be called a weak team when they are able to play hard enough in every match, it's just that the quality of the team varies. Brighton is a team with no better quality than Chelsea, therefore maybe some people think Chelsea deserve to win easily. But of course the draw was very boring.

I'm looking forward to a Tottenham match with their new coach, because I still believe Tottenham will win regardless of who the coach is. Therefore, I bet on the 1.8x-1.9x odds for Tottenham it looks like it's still a chance to win. Because if I look at Southampton's last game, the fact is they still haven't come back fully, losing 3-0 by West Brom is a bad record for Southampton.

With both Liverpool and Chelsea drawing, Tottenham and Everton are in the race again. Tottenham has to win tonight to be able to capitalize on that and Everton has an extra game to play compared to the other teams fighting for the 3rd and 4th spot.

It will be a really exciting race, there are 6 teams in a 5 points difference and 2 places are up for grabs. It would be hugely important to Liverpool and Chelsea, way more than others. I think Spurs will win tonight and put some extra pressure on these 2.
Four top position and two space for third and fourth place looks interesting because have many team get chance to qualify on champion league, West Ham United, Leicester City, Liverpool and Tottenham still have chance to proof who will be the champion to get third and fourth position place at the end league, I believe with Leicester City most bigger chance to get this place.

Interesting turn of events for Prem League Champions League chasers. Chelsea, West Ham and Liverpool all dropped points, leaving even more narrow spaces for those spots.

Maybe Super League events all got them tight and worried about playing with even players now voicing out opinions. Glad nothing changes even my own team I was very worried.

As expected, yesterday Chelsea did not please the fans with a good game and could not score a single goal for Brighton...
After Mourinho was fired, today's game of Tottenham also does not inspire a good result... Although they really need to score points too!

Chelsea just showed once again that is one of the most unstable teams during this year. They win games which are really difficult to win and they fail to win easy games like this one.
Seems like Chelsea is quite tired after their busy schedule. They are not only tired physically mentally, they seem like they are not well. On the other hand, I think Bringhton is good too, their defense is pretty good. Besides that, it seems that Chelsea is also not being able to concentrate because of the issue of the European Super League. I heard that initially Chelsea was one of the twelve initiating teams. However, because their hardline supporters refused, Chelsea have withdrawn from it. I heard that the match was postponed because the Chelsea bus was blocked by supporters who refused to have the European Super League.

Chelsea should be able to solve the problem of this very busy match schedule by rotating players. Because in my opinion the Chelsea substitutes have
almost the same quality as the main players. I agree with the bad results against Brighton, there is a possibility that Chelsea players are disturbed
by the European Super League issue, so Chelsea players are distracted by their concentration. Moreover, Chelsea's next match must face West Ham
who have the same points. This is an important game that Chelsea must win if they want to be in the top 4.
